Even though I live only 45 miles away the difference is vast. Beatiful scenery tranquil surroundings and plenty to see and do wether you are active or not. My wife and dog (labrador) loved it too! the chalets were surprisingly warm too, we were there in mid-march and never used the heating and only put a fleece on once. Highly recomended to wind down and the hosts gus and ollie were always happy to help but don't impinge.

The setting can't be faulted and the staff were available if needed but not intrusive. Was value for money in the winter months.
Emma (30 November 2013)

Great surroundings in a fantastic part of the country. Be aware there is a main road running between the lodges and the loch (it isn't too busy though). the staff are very friendly.
James from Manchester (30 November 2013)

Booked for 4 nights as a birthday present having stayed in a few different lodges in the uk before, loved the peace & quiet but be prepared for the remoteness of these lodges. the lodges can be cold during the winter so extra layers are advisable. . the views are breathtaking in lochearn & lots of nice walks in the area & if you feel like a drive there are some little towns & villages a few miles away (15-20) I have rebooked these lodges for a second & third holiday as they are the perfect place to hide out for some rest & relaxation.
Jannette from Glasgow (23 November 2013)

Sarah from Bathgate (04 December 2012)

Sceneray is lovely, peaceful. Nice place to relax.
Yvonne from Dundee (01 December 2012)

We booked a long weekend to relax and do some walking and cycling. Lochearnhead was an excellent base and provided us with everything we needed. The cycle track between lochearnhead and killin going north and callendar going south was easy to find and use and whilst a bit hilly in places provided us with a couple of great days out on our bikes. Although it was the end of november the weather was good which was a bonus. Some of the scenery is spectacular and absolutely beautiful which with the wild life that we saw made this a perfect weekend break. Even if cycling is not your thing then this is a good location for also exploring further afield in the car.
James from Fife (27 November 2012)

Fantastic location in cosy relaxing chalets overlooking the gorgeous Loch. We go twice each year and always amazed by how relaxing and well worth the money was during our stay. The Clachan pub has a rustic warm feel and welcomed by the locals each time we come here and the staff. Brilliant food and atmosphere, we are already choosing dates to go back and we only came home this morning :)
Miss M from Glasgow (14 March 2011)

The views are spectacular and the cabins are gorgeous.
Mrs D from Glasgow (08 March 2011)

Brilliant time at Loch Earn, the accommodation was brilliant and located in a nice area with amazing views of the Loch and the Mountains. Free fishing on private land was the best for us, great value for money and would more than happily do it again. We are already planning the return : )

Mrs W from Kirkcaldy (22 April 2010)

The location, scenery and overall ambiance of the villa was fantastic - we didn't want to come home. On the day of returning we actually booked to go back for a week in July - couldn't recommend the place enough.
Mrs M from Haddington (07 April 2010)

Excellent location and the view was fantastic!! The Scottish weather was not on our side so didn't get much of an opportunity to explore!! Accommodation was comfortable and well equipped. Would definitely come back in the summer!!
Mrs K from Broxburn (03 April 2010)

Had a brilliant time, accommodation more than adequate for the price. Gus was very friendly and seemed happy to help out with anything we may have needed. The views of the loch and snowy hills were worth the trip alone. We were ideally located for visiting many of the towns around the area and really enjoyed the picturesque driving. We visited the hotel bar next door a number of times and with it being low season we were often the only ones there and so the owner Robert was our very own tour guide. Very handy as some of the walks we wanted to do were not possible because of the weather. We had a great time, very relaxing but did something different every day. Wouldn't hesitate in going back.
Miss D from Billingham (25 March 2010)

We are just back from a most enjoyable stay at Lochernhead. The cabin was very nice and well equipped, the views over the loch are worth the price alone, and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. I would not recommend it though because we want to keep it for ourselves!!!! I would recommemd the road from Killin to Aberfeldy as the views are stunning, and the Quaich cafe in Aberfeldy does delicious food at reasonable prices. I would like to say thankyou, and we will certainly return.
Mrs L from Penicuik (13 March 2010)

The holiday was excellent value for money, and I would recommend Lochearnhead to anyone wishing to see stunning views and to have a relaxing time. The lodge was very clean and tidy, and all in all it was a wonderful place to go, and I would definitley go back!
Mr S from Denny (03 March 2010)

The lodge was lovely and the views stunning. Tranquil, inspiring and strongly recommended!

We loved it that much we have booked again for a third time! A really good location and excellent value for money.

Mrs B from Cupar (11 November 2009)

Nice and peaceful, good location and a good base to go exploring this really beautiful area.
Mr M from Wallsend (11 November 2009)

We stayed in the lodge - it was delightful, very clean and spacious and the kitchen was also very well equipped. The owners were very helpful and friendly and made it clear that they were available for any problem day or night. The view was lovely and there is plenty to see and do in the local area. There were two hotels within easy walking distance for meals, and we particularly enjoyed our meals at The Clachan Hotel. We would definitely like to holiday there again.
Mr M from St Andrews (22 October 2009)

The log cabin was more than what we wanted - private, very comfortable and in a setting you could only wish for. It was a fantastic time away, just like another world to our normal working life.
Mr W from Arbroath (08 October 2009)

Fantastic location next to the Loch. Very quiet and relaxing with plenty of golf courses within easy reach.

I would recommend the holiday to all of my friends and relatives as it was peaceful and had the most glorious views!
