Susan (17 February 2016)

The place was lovely the people lovely the surroundings lovely. But the inside could do with a spice up. Just a smige also make sure the vents are closed on the first night or you will freeze
Stephen from Looe (13 February 2016)

Had great time here,,,everything you need there,,,if had 1 drawback it would be the tv,,,bit small,,very quiet,,stayed for3 nights very relaxing time,,would return.
Angie from Prestonpans (06 February 2016)

Great holiday very relaxing. Stress free and the views are just heavenly
Michelle from Falkirk (06 February 2016)

We enjoyed a lovely time at the lodge, views are amazing and lots to see in the surrounding area. Lodge was lovely and would highly recommend staying there. Will be back soon.
Edwin from Carnwath (26 January 2016)

After coming here regularly for some years we have decided to give it up as a bad job. Last year we noticed the cabins were up for sale and just ever so slightly run down. This year we arrived and found the cabin sorely in need of a lot of tlc and a deep clean. There's no attention to detail and the cleaner is missing a lot of basic problems.
Michele from Largoward (23 January 2016)

Stayed here for the second time with my two dogs. Its so peaceful and theres lots of lovely walks nearby. The cabins are well equiped with everthing you could possibly need and more!the staff are all very helpful. Cant wait for my next visit. A full week of perfect chill time for me and my four legged friends.
Dennise from Boness (16 January 2016)

Myself and family stayed for new year wee loved that their was a local pub that we could go and have some food this made a difference as it ment I didnt have to do all the cooking. the cabin was great for what wee needed. there was one little shop in the area but not a lot of choice all this means is be prepared for your stay and you wont have any issues. angus the owner was great he just let you get on with your holiday if you needed anything he was just a phone call away. best new year I have had for a long time will deffinetly book again.
Carol from Glasgow (06 January 2016)

The cabin was very warm, cosy and had a good sized living area. Great location, very enjoyable stay.
Rebecca (06 January 2016)

Need a wee bit up dating and never met any staff as it was xmas that's why ma rating is small
Walter from Culross (27 December 2015)

Ok it rained most of our time, staff was really helpful, the man checked if we was fine, showed us the water system and answered any questions around village. Location is brilliant, as its close to restaurants and short walk from shop, looking onto the loch.
Lisa from Balmedie (17 November 2015)

Great location, handy for getting out and about central to crieff and stirling.
Maureen from Greenock (10 November 2015)

So peaceful ovelooking the loch, we were looking to just relax and that is what we got. No body bothering you all the time. The lodge was lovely, everything in it you could need or want. . would definitely book again.

We were very comfortable and informed. Decent little corner to nest in for a walking holiday.
Ryon from Liverpool (07 November 2015)

We will be back next year, it will be our eighth stay at lochearnhead.
Mel from Cannock Staffordshire (31 October 2015)

Had a great time the area is stunning very central to reach callander, killin and loch katrine
Christine from South Ayrshire (24 October 2015)

Loved the setting with only 10 log cabins overlooking loch earn, so nice and quiet.
Kym from Cannington (24 October 2015)

Relaxing few days away with plenty of tourist attractions to see around the local area. You do need a car to get about unless its water sport, walking or cycling you want. Bear in mind some attractions in the area close at the end of october.
Stephen (24 October 2015)

Stayed here many times over the past 30+ years. Always welcoming and cosy. . we will be back.
Alistair from Newcastle Upon Tyne (13 October 2015)

Chalet was large and well equipped, also very clean. Only lacking was the mattress and seating firmness, which were tired to say the least. Also a lack of a wall clock!!. . overall, good.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (10 October 2015)

Been before and will go again
Alex from Dunfermline (10 October 2015)

Area was tidy , scrub bushes need trimmed back as do trees .

James from Stirling (06 October 2015)

Had a fantastic time accommodation was lovely didn't need anything everything was there for us. Would recommend .
Joan from Dunfermline (06 October 2015)

It's not luxury and the lodge could do with a freshen up but it's very clean and tidy and a fantastic location and can't wait to go again.
Betty (26 September 2015)

Very clean and tidy . everything we needed for our stay .
Kathleen from Edinburgh (19 September 2015)

Lodges very dated and had an odd smell about them probably from the wood cladding . they were clean though
Jeanine (15 August 2015)

Love the place only thing they could do with a up date (the cabins). but having said that going again,6 years I now have booked with my family. Book before we have even finished are holiday there.
Jo from Castleford (01 August 2015)

We enjoyed our stay very much. I knew it wasn't really modern but didn't mind as the chalet was very clean and had everything you could need . the bedroom felt a bit dark. The location was ideal for getting to other places a day out and the pub next door was great. I loved the chalet and we were sad to leave.
Sandra from Glasgow (18 July 2015)

Loved the villa but would have liked to have known that the electricity was not counted in the price and that I need a handful if £1.00 coins to feed the meter. lovely villa though and plenty of room.
Diana (11 July 2015)

Fantastic location with fabulous walks, views and good local restaurant, pub. Lock is stunning with water-sports if required. Lodge was clean, tidy and spacious, well equiped except for a rather small tv. Will return in the future.
Derek from Billingham (20 June 2015)

First time visit to lochearnhead villas. Myself and my wife had a great relaxing time. Villa was nice clean and tidy. Would hire villa again. 10 out of 10. For all.
Thomas from Glasgow (16 May 2015)

Very old and dated interior in the log cabin. Advertised as luxury accommodation definately not. Very old electric heating which you had to keep going with pound coins struggled to keep warm. Location is lovely but would not go back to these cabins.
Evelyn from Scotland (05 May 2015)

Washed away with the rain no fishing!
David from Falkirk (05 May 2015)

Beautiful location and lots to do out and about

Great holiday, lovely place to stay.
James from Aberdeen (21 March 2015)

Had a fabulous few days. Scenery was outstanding. Cabin was very comfortable only quibble was the . was cold and the shower wasn't brilliant. Absolute value for money would definitely go back.
Lesley from Edinburgh (17 March 2015)

Had a nice relaxing few days been here now 4 times and will be back next year.
James from Chryston (17 March 2015)

Owner great (angus) but no probs with cabin . only suggestion couches need updated and another heat source reqd in living room eg elect fire otherwise enjoyed stay
Andy from Kirkcaldy (14 March 2015)

Lodge clean and tidy. Took a long time to heat up inside. Very dated interior but we expected that. The seating in the lounge is very uncomfortable and the tv is too small for the room. We took our 2 dogs with us so we could go on long walks without driving somewhere first with them, this is impossible in this location this was the most dissapointing part of the holiday.
Jeanette from Huddersfield (07 March 2015)

Lovely cabins set in a great location would recommend
Customer 46 from Derby (07 March 2015)

We were in the loch earn villa. It was clean and had everything we needed. The owners were very friendly/helpful. The location was superb, waking up to snow was beautiful. There is a hotel/bar just along the road with wifi and lovely log burning fire to keep you warm. Would definately go back if the price was good.
Angela from East Lothian (02 March 2015)

Loved it! beautiful setting with an owner that will do anything to help. We will be back sometime
Holly from Porthtowan (28 February 2015)

Great location and surrounding. Accommodation is first class and kept to a very high standard by staff. Staff very helpful and there in a minute s if you have a problem. will return again
Andrew from Portseton East Lothian (28 February 2015)

Stunning place!
Dawn from Newcastle (17 February 2015)

Lovely outlook- with view over loch and mountains, very peaceful at night aswell
Yvonne from Norfolk (13 February 2015)

The lodge benefitted of having amazing views on a nice small site. Very clean and tidy with everything you need for catering for the family. It was out of season so the local pub only opened on weekend days. A great base to head out to see things but not allot to do within walking distance. However I would recommend this we had a great time.
John (10 February 2015)

We stayed here for 3 nights , best relaxing holiday ever.
Karen from Glasgow (10 February 2015)

Had an excellent stay as usual. you are always made to feel so welcome for the entire stay. will definitely be returning again.
Caroline from Cupar (07 February 2015)

Loved cabin and location. Could do with a good air out and some spider webs dusting from high ceiling but none of that matters once your in and enjoying the beutiful surrounding
Ceri from Stourbridge (07 February 2015)

We never seen any staff until the day we left, but where we stayed was lovely so peaceful and just what we were looking for.

Best holiday lodge we've stayed in
James (29 January 2015)

Been going in jan for 7 years now . cabins are well equipped and excellent value for money . gus is very friendly and helpful
Elizabeth (20 January 2015)

Weather snow and frost, steep drive not salted very dangerous.
Daniel from Whitehaven (17 January 2015)

Fab holiday, we were all really sad to leave!! best holiday in a long while
Natalie (17 January 2015)

A brilliant holiday in a stunning location.
Brian from Dundee (17 January 2015)

Overall the villa was ok quite dark with not alot of lighting. There was a loch but you couldn't walk near it because it was all private grounds. there was no where to walk our dog as there was a main road at bottom of the hill. There was a restaurant and bar but it was closed so luckily we had our own supplies. Also the villa was quite dated and we noticed that they were all up for sale.
Donna from Hamilton (06 January 2015)

Location of cabin fantastic. Lots of good walks
Sharon from Liverpool (03 January 2015)

Value for money was fabulous, the accomodation was clean and had everything we needed. Not what we were expecting!
Grant from Romania (23 December 2014)

A great deal and very helpful staff
Daniel (02 December 2014)

We keep going year after year.everything is lovely.

Site is pet friendly as is the clachan hotel which serves good food and is only a couple of hundred yards down the road.

Spot on will definitely go again ,beautiful place
Paul from Hull (28 October 2014)

Great holiday definitely go back
John from Glasgow (25 October 2014)

Lovely location but if you have dogs it is very limited for walks and on main road. Only access to loch was across this and no walks available round lochside
John from Kelso (25 October 2014)

Fantastic views , angus that runs the site is so helpful and we look forward to our visits and catch up on news with him..we have went there for past 5 years and have so many special memories.the lodges are always clean and have everything you need in them for your stay.the hotel and pub that is close to lodges are really good.hotel food is excellent and the service from amanda and her husband is excellent!!
Rebecca from Livingston (21 October 2014)

Great location for exploring
Dawn from Wooler (18 October 2014)

Great!!!
Andrew (18 October 2014)

We had 4 cabins for 8 adults, 4 teenagers, 4 kids & 5 dogs. We all had great time, going to book for nxt yr.
Margo from Falkirk (14 October 2014)

What a lovely lodge. Perfect for 2 adults & dog. Picturesk view from front door. Perfect walks for dogs. Would definitely stay here again.
Jennifer from Polmont (14 October 2014)

This was my second year staying here and once again I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as its very centrally located for getting around scotland
Paul (11 October 2014)

Fabulous holiday location and great value for money. Angus was very helpful when a walking stick was lost, he retuned via post within a couple of days
Christine from Morpeth (11 October 2014)

Was nice and peaceful furniture and fittings all a bit outdated needs refurbished also had a old dusty smell about the place but besides that was nice place
Denise (07 October 2014)

What a great location..
Alex from Dunfermline (07 October 2014)

Very good, owner of lodges was very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the stay in an excellent location.
Steven from Solihull (27 September 2014)

The view and location were lovely, but the lodges were very close to the road and our lodge was directly next to a huge pile of rubbish (which we assumed was from the hotel next door) which consisted of spent oil, chairs and an old toilet. Extremely unsightly.
Elaine (06 September 2014)

We knew how lovely the area was as we live not to far away . . the scenery was as always beautiful overlooking the. Loch everyone in the area were very helpful and friendly. And hope to return in the coming year .
Martha (06 September 2014)

We didn't see any staff on. Our second visit to the site, but I spoke to them by text and there was. No. Need for them to visit us as we knew where everything was
Brian from Dumfries (06 September 2014)

Beautiful scenery. we spent lots of time fishing just across from the cabin. There is a good walk you can do from lochearnhead. The clachan cottage is a good pub, that is child friendly and has a pool table. It's only 2 minutes walk away. great for a traditional family holiday.
Louise from High Wycombe (23 August 2014)

Our holiday was brilliant our lodge had everything we needed and more we was greeted by the manager who was friendly and helpful to us . the view was lovely from our lodge
Maria Denise (16 August 2014)

We have been coming for the last 20years and fixture and fittings are getting in need of upgrading but we water ski and the location is fantastic
Jane from York (09 August 2014)

Could be exceptionally nice lodges with a bit of investment, but would still go back.
Denise from Borders (09 August 2014)

Having been twice before we knew what to expect. In line with other reviews the furniture needs to be more comfortable. In terms of value for money it should be slightly less than the rate we paid due to this
David (09 August 2014)

For the money you couldn't beat it
James from Penrith (26 July 2014)

Basic accommodation basic, not luxury
Joyce from Buckhaven (26 July 2014)

Chalets could do to be upgraded, they were not very clean, fridge was dirty, slashes of food on the walls, cobwebs everywhere.allthough the beds were clean and comfortable to sleep in.it was not worth the money, glad we only paid half price.
Ian from Innerleithen (26 July 2014)

Great location.
Catherine from West Lothian (19 July 2014)

Needs updating complete renovation. Says it all when owners have site up for sale.
David (19 July 2014)

Lodge great just pity about caravans parked in all lay bys and parking areas on loch side really filthy old packets of cold meat with maggots, beer bottles glass and just general rubbish people sitting around drinking cans of beer we did not park anywhere at that side of loch and locals assured us they did not go near them either spoiled what was a beautiful spot
Joyce (15 July 2014)

Location has beautiful scenery but has absolutely nothin in or around it
Susan from Lanarkshire (12 July 2014)

Holiday was great , accomodation in a fab setting but decor and furniture in a bit of a time warp
Karen from Falkirk (12 July 2014)

The location and accommodation was excellent but we were isolated and had little contact with the management.as
Alex from Warrington (21 June 2014)

Great location overlooking loch earn. Steep site. Not a problem for us but if you have mobility problems ask for one of lower cabins. Manager off site but always available by mobile and keen to offer advice on surrounding area.
Margaret from Amersham (31 May 2014)

This is the fifth year we have had a short fishing break & as always gus was very helpful.
Robert from Alloa (13 May 2014)

Cracking weekend away with stunning scenery and great company.
Russell (22 April 2014)

Very good location, we enjoyed it that much we have already booked for the same time next year and this time we are staying for one week as opposed to the four night stay we had this time.
David from Lichfield (05 April 2014)

Excellent accommodation and location. As we visited in april and the weather was poor, we were impressed how well insulated the lodge was.
Kay from Washington (05 April 2014)

Another amazing week here - angus is so helpful and friendly. The log cabin and settings are just amazing. I was sad to hear the log cabins are in the process of being sold so may be looking for alternative accommodation next year - very sad :o(
Peter from Liverpool (05 April 2014)

Good value for money nothing there for a young child and 2 dogs busy road nearby lochside is privately owned by everyone along the road
Peter from Workington (29 March 2014)

Didn't see any staff while we were away although the owner of the lodge popped in to say hello
Angela from Dalry (22 March 2014)

Even though I live only 45 miles away the difference is vast. Beatiful scenery tranquil surroundings and plenty to see and do wether you are active or not. My wife and dog (labrador) loved it too! the chalets were surprisingly warm too, we were there in mid-march and never used the heating and only put a fleece on once. Highly recomended to wind down and the hosts gus and ollie were always happy to help but don't impinge.
Paul from Falkirk (18 March 2014)

Beautiful relaxing area - great for walks and scenery
Gerry from Irvine (25 February 2014)

Beautiful location, perfect for an away from it all break
Caroline from Scotland (15 February 2014)

We had a great time. Log cabin was lovely. Great walks locally for our kids and dog. Great wee pub walking distance. Lovely food. Will definitely be back.
Tracy from Glasgow (03 January 2014)

The setting can't be faulted and the staff were available if needed but not intrusive. Was value for money in the winter months.
Emma (30 November 2013)

Great surroundings in a fantastic part of the country. Be aware there is a main road running between the lodges and the loch (it isn't too busy though). the staff are very friendly.
James from Manchester (30 November 2013)

Booked for 4 nights as a birthday present having stayed in a few different lodges in the uk before, loved the peace & quiet but be prepared for the remoteness of these lodges. the lodges can be cold during the winter so extra layers are advisable. . the views are breathtaking in lochearn & lots of nice walks in the area & if you feel like a drive there are some little towns & villages a few miles away (15-20) I have rebooked these lodges for a second & third holiday as they are the perfect place to hide out for some rest & relaxation.
Jannette from Glasgow (23 November 2013)

My partner and me had a lovely, romantic weekend at loch side. Great bar and restaurant at hotel next door. Had a delicious trout from the very loch, views of which we enjoyed tremendously.
Amanda from Aberdeen (19 November 2013)

Exellent holiday, could do with more tv channels.
Brian from Gateshead (09 November 2013)

Alan from East Calder (12 October 2013)

Thank you very much for a friendly and relaxing stay, thoroughly enjoyable in your super lodge. Morag, mairi, peter and dogs bobby & holly
Morag from Alexandria (05 October 2013)

The loch itself is lovely but not as accessible as some of the other lochs, especially with young children. Great scenery and calm quiet surroundings. The kids loved feeding the ducks!

Catherine (28 September 2013)

Melvin from Cannock Staffs. (28 September 2013)
