Just spent a lovley weekend at KP Lodges, the lodge made our holiday, it was fantastic - I didn't want to leave! It was so peaceful with lovely views of the golf course. The lodges are ideal for a couples weekend away, although we took our toddlers and teen - they loved the hot tub and little lawn area out front to play on. The lodge itself was fine, and more than suitable for the children due to the size and space (4 bed) There are nice walks surrounding the area, and a cafe facing the entrance to KP Club - the cafe is surrounded in woodland and is perfect on a nice day to walk to and sit out in the gardens on the picnic tables whilst the kids play. We also visited Flamingo Land (around 25 minutess drive from KP). The staff were more than friendly and accommodating and meals are served daily in the clubhouse on site. This is a great place for relaxing. The lodges are lovely and modern with under floor heating, and the hot tub is fab. The setting is so picturesque in the middle of a golf course, and lovely countryside. We enjoyed watching all the golfers. A high standard of accommodation in a woodland area of the Kilnwick Percy golf course. The hot tub is great fun for all and it is in a great location if you are using the lodge as a base to travel around Yorkshire as it is only 20 minutes from York. Today we have just got back home after a 4 night break in one of these superb lodges. We have stayed at a few in York over last few years but this one for lodge itself was by far the best - it was like walking into a showhome! It was very clean, nice and new, and there are only ten lodges - the hot tubs all face away from each other so are not overlooked from neighbours. 1ST CLASS! Oh my god, you must stay at these lodges. What can I say, fabulous, relaxing, ultra modern, spacious, clean and everything you need is there so there is no need to even leave the lodge. I have just returned from a 3 night stay with my mum, sisters and 4 of my friends, we stayed in the York lodge and if you do what we did and take plenty of food and drink you won't have to leave the gorgeous lodge. The views from these modern lodges are brilliant, there are lovely walks nearby and a visit to the friendly local public house in Millington is highly recommended.
