The lodge we stayed in was so lovely, clean and extremely well equipped. To sit out on the deck or in the hot tub and look over at the lambs in the field opposite was so relaxing. It was such a peaceful location but near enough to Bude that it took maybe five minutes to drive there. We visited Boscastle, Tintagel, Padstow and Crealy Cornwall which were all lovely in their own ways. The proprietors of the lodges were so helpful and we even had a bottle of wine and a pack of cookies as a welcome gift. I would thoroughly recommend these lodges and will definitely return. The lodge was lovely, and there was a welcome pack with wine, delicious cookies and more and we spent our first night in the hot tub sipping buubly under the stars. The park is very tranquil and is an ideal place to rest and relax. Situated in the idyllic north Cornwall countryside with peace and quiet it was exactly what we wanted. Ideally placed with the Atlantic highway nearby we found it easy to travel to places like Tintagel castle, Boscastle, Padstow, Eden Project and a lovely beach area with rocky pools at Sandymouth just a couple of miles up the road. Bude was only a couple of miles away with a good choice of local pubs, restaurants and a large supermarket on the outskirts of town.We returned home relaxed and refreshed, thank you very much! An excellent place to holiday - very peaceful, quiet and relaxing, yet close enough to lots of great attractions and fun places to visit. The lodge was spotless and modern and our hot tub was cleaned daily and was pure luxury. The park was immaculately clean and all the privacy hedges were trimmed and tidy - it was as if they had cleaned the whole park just for our arrival. The managers standards are obviously very high! We would highly recommend a stay here, the location was perfect and very peaceful. The position of most cabins meant you had plenty of privacy - which is good for the hot tub! Only one cabin was next to a path which only took you to 3 lodges. The hot tub was a real treat and lovely to sit in at night watching the stars with a glass of champagne. The cabin was lovely, adequate equipment, flat screen TV etc and DVD and a modern bathroom and shower and a nice touch to have a mini welcome pack and bottle of wine. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of storage space in the double and twin rooms. We only stopped for 4 nights but we would have no hesitation staying for two weeks, and in fact hope we do go back for a longer stay!!! Outside there is plenty of parking and a good, safe play area for children to run around in. The owners were very pleasant and friendly and should be proud of the beautiful oasis they have created. We had the most amazing week at Ivyleaf. The lodge is perfect, the surroundings are breathtaking and the hot tub is absolute heaven. The Ivyleaf coombe log cabins are a fantastic holiday destination. The accommodation is excellent and having had one of the cabins with a hot tub this was such a great added bonus. This park was excellent for both parents and children. We could sit in the hot tub on the decking area whilst watching our children in the play area. Their field was large enough for children to run around on without causing nuisance for other park users. The location was very central for beaches, had excellent standards and it was so peaceful in the evening to sit on the decking area or in hot tub and watch the sun go down with no noise from roads or from the village - it was so fab we have rebooked a return visit! We had an absolutely wonderful time at Ivyleaf Combe Lodges and couldn't recommend it highly enough. We have a young baby so the excellent and immaculate self-catering accommodation was ideal and the luxury of having our very own hot tub meant we could really relax and enjoy doing something different and indulgent once our son was in bed. The setting was idyllic and surrounding area had plenty to do for all of us. The hot tub was cleaned and checked every morning so there was a definite impression of attention to detail and very high standards.
