Me and my partner came to stay at Hollybrook Lodges for 4 nights in March 2010. We were met by Simon the owner who lives onsite, he couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. He showed us around the lodge and showed us how to use the hot tub then left us to it for the rest of the holiday. This was our first lodge holiday so didn't know what to expect, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. We chose one of the more expensive lodges and I believe we got a good deal for our money! The cleanliness and upkeep of the lodge we stayed in (Sage) was immaculate, and the hot tub was easy to use and very nice to relax on the evenings!! Even though the hot tubs are on front of the lodges on most of them in the park, (one or two have them round the back), you were still very private. The lodge was very warm and spacious, and we were very impressed with the kitchen with dishwasher and everything they supplied us with for the week! The park itself is just up a private track and is very secluded from anywhere so is very nice and quiet. We were very impressed with the whole park and I'm sure this wont be our only visit!! The park was lovely and peaceful, and very serene for a relaxing break, although we spent most of our time visting the many attractions in the surrounding area. There are plenty of places to see not too far from the lodge, so not too much time is spent in the car, and the hot tub was the star of the holiday after a days sightseeing. We just wish we had booked another week so we could relax and watch all the DVD's we brought, and the books we had hoped to read when we decided to have a relaxing holiday in the Yokshire countryside. The staff were extrememly helpful and at all times, I felt that they always tried to ensure we had the most enjoyable and stressfree stay.Thyme 1 was ideally located within the park - right at the back of the park overlooking the field. The hot tub itself was in the back garden, perfectly placed and private. The staff cleaned the hot tub for us on a daily basis which enabled to use it daily. The lodge itself was very spacious, well cleaned and had all the essentials to make a fantastic break - there were 3 bedrooms, 1 ensuite and 1 main bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious and the dishwasher was a big bonus. The park is located in a quiet spot just on the edge of Easingwold. The Lavender Lodge was a lovely setting for a romantic break and it was a great treat to find wine and chocolates on arrival. for anybody looking for a completely peaceful and relaxing holiday this is the place. It is away from the main village down a country lane. The lodge was very modern in decor and spotlessly clean, and the couple who ran the park were very friendly and helpful. It is within walking distance is the village of Easingwold where you can find restaurants, public houses , takeaways and supermarkets. Mrs C

We would highly recommend these lodges. We had a problem with a jammed door which prevented access to our hot tub. Although the door could not be fixed during our stay, the management pulled out all the stops to reinstate alternative access and even provided bath robes to cover our blushes as we scuttled along the access drive.
