Lovely accommodation. Peaceful location. But need a car. Nothing to do on site in evenings
Lynnette from Norfolk (20 April 2018)

A really lovely site with excellent lodges.
Elaine from Chesterfield (16 April 2018)

Amazing location for total relaxation and chill time. The lakeside setting and abundance of birds and wildlife make this place an escape from city life. The lodges are very good quality with all usual mod cons. The hot tub is heated to a perfect 38 all the time and was fresh and clean to use. On site there is activities including fishing, foot golf, golf and clay pigeon shooting. Great fun. Also good for seeing the coastal town southwold
Christopher from Tamworth (09 April 2018)

Lovely lodge. . lovely surroundings.
Sereane from Toddington. Dunstable. Bedfordshire (06 April 2018)

Very peaceful and relaxing
Trudi from Margate (30 March 2018)

Lodge was very pleasant and spacious. excellent view onto fishing lake. some noise from the clay pigeon shooting but otherwise quite peaceful. excellent centre for cycling to dunwich, walberswick etc by quiet country lanes and bridleways.
Customer 6 from Ipswich (26 March 2018)

Lovely relaxing break enjoyed the lake view and ducks also seeing hares and grouse and pheasants. The lodge was very warm and comfortable. We enjoyed
Brenda from Essex (19 March 2018)

Really lovely settings, very quiet and easy to get to popular places will definitely go back
Tanya from Colchester (19 March 2018)

A really enjoyable holiday, lodge and fishing first class, would recommend the sunday lunch great value for money, lots to see and do, a great place for a holiday,. hope to return later this year.
David from Spalding Lincs (17 March 2018)

The lodge/hot tub was lovely and peaceful, unfortunately due to the weather the golf course was waterlogged but we fished instead. Location is very much out the way this time in the year when the club house shuts so early so if you want a nice evening meal out it's a little drive away.
Kassandra from Ipswich (16 March 2018)

Great break, helpful staff, great lodge only down side is you can only use one rod per lodge which was disappointing as the standard is two but overall 9/10
Christopher from Cannock (12 March 2018)

We arrived early & lodge was ready, so were able to check in. There had been problems because of the snow but lodge was great. It was warm, clean and well equipped. Boy's enjoyed hot tub. Just the break we needed.
Susan from Norwich (05 March 2018)

Just brilliant, could not fault it apart from leaving a day early due to the 'beast from the east'. everything provided, even down to dishwasher tablets, amazed. Lovely place, most helpful staff and geographically nicely situated for visiting suffolk and norfolk. Certainly would revisit in better weather. Shooting, fishing, golf, it's all there for the enthusiast. Meals most reasonable as well. Nice wedding venue also, which started our seven night visit. In a nutshell could not fault it. Weather was out of their hands!
Graham from Lacock, Wiltshire (02 March 2018)

First class holiday great accommodation beautiful surroundings loads of activities on site will definitely be back.
Ian from Dartford (23 February 2018)

Fantastic
Laura from Ipswich (19 February 2018)

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Well equipped clean and warm comfy lodge. Very good shooting ground
Shirley (19 February 2018)

It was lovely . if you want sleep in past ten though there’s a lot of shooting going on.
Suzanne from Hertfordshire (12 February 2018)

Brillant stay, cabin was a real home for home and the hot tub was a bonus.
Stephen (12 February 2018)

We had a fantastic weekend, hot tub was excellent. We would definatley return here, as it was very relazing. The lodge was very very clean, and had everything you needed. Bed comfortable, and plenty of towels supplied for our use. Only downfall was when you looked out from patio you saw 3 old looking vans(advertising) these were a eyesore, but everywhere else was lovely view.
Susan from Wickford Essex (05 February 2018)

We spent our mini-moon at high lodge. Everything was acceptable and it was a pleasant trip. The wifi is not that great in the lodges but it was nice to be away from the phone for a while. Unfortunalty our stay was spoilt slightly by the party that was next to our lodge. We stayed over new year and we were placed next to a group of lads who were also celebrating new year. This was a little noisy at times but we understood they were also on holiday so didn’t complain. It would have been nice to have been placed a little further away or at least warned that we may be next to a louder group than normal as it was our mini-moon.
Laura from Coventry (01 January 2018)

Spent new year and had such a great time, beautiful location, gorgeous lodges which were well equipped. The only downer was all the rain so couldn’t enjoy the facilities!. we will definitely be returning.
Katie from Cambridge (01 January 2018)

Fabulous surroundings and varied activities.
Marina from Spalding (29 December 2017)

Had a great time, everyone enjoyed the hot tub and had a great time. The lodge was spacious and clean
Andrew (27 December 2017)

Everthing was excellent. Totally relaxing and an added bonus having the restaurant on site.
Jackie from Suffolk (27 November 2017)

Beautiful site
Carole from West Midlands (25 November 2017)

Great place, warm, welcoming team, great lodges, warm and spacious, stayed another week..
Tony from Liverpool (24 November 2017)

We loved the high lodge chalets with the hot tubs & great view of the lake. The accommodation inside is lovely. Lots of cooking facilities & lovely bathrooms. Great place for a group to get together. We had two chalets and a party of 10 adults. The 3rd bedroom is small & really is designed for children. . we used the lodges as a base to explore the area & visit southwold which is 10 minutes away. The only negative is there is not a bar or restaurant on site that stays open in the evening so you will need to eat out or self cater. However everyone loved it so will go back again.
Julia from Chelmsford (13 November 2017)

Loved the hot tub, comfy bed, large bathroom, peaceful lake side location. Didn't like the dirty pots, uncomfy sofa (awful), tv in bedroom struggled to receive the channels.
Sallyann from Leicester (06 November 2017)

A last minute 4 night break. We loved the lodge, the surroundings and the restaurant. Only downside was nothing on site after 5pm. We would have loved an evening drink or meal
Paul (03 November 2017)

A lovely peaceful spot with lots of wildlife around (we saw hares, hedgehogs and rabbits as well as the profusion of partridges, pheasants and ducks). lovely well equipped lodge.
Elaine (20 October 2017)

Nice location, but was disappointed with the lack of privacy due to fishermen sat outside our lodge, fishing.
David from Worksop (20 October 2017)

Lovely lodge lovely friendly people everywhere we went
Teresa from Bishops Stortford Herts (20 October 2017)

As this was my third stay in the same lodge I think it will. Tell everyone how much I like it at high lodge. Beautiful surroundings with both lovely coastal resorts. Nearby and beautiful countryside. Everything we wanteda. And more. And yes I would go again.
Rosemary from Banbury (06 October 2017)

Very comfortable, clean tidy accomodation. well situated for a peaceful few days away. we took an elderly father which was ideal for easy access to the lodge. Very well situated for the coast and local amenities.
Ken from Chelmsford (29 September 2017)

Wonderful
Mike (29 September 2017)

Great as always
Mark from Kings Lynn (22 September 2017)

Peaceful and relaxing location. Lots of things to do without having to travel too far.
Marjorie from Cambridge (22 September 2017)

Quiet and peaceful, but near enough to towns for eating out. Lodge facilities very good - particularly liked the hot tub!
Stuart from Hemel Hempstead (15 September 2017)

Brilliant time, already booked for may 2018
Karen (01 September 2017)

Lodge and setting amazing. . it was a pity that to use any of the activities we had to pay extra e.g. Foot golf, daily fishing charge.
Marilyn from St Neots (01 September 2017)

Absolutely fantastic place, the lodge was spacious and spotlessly clean. One of the best shirt breaks in the uk we have ever had as a family of five.
Mark (01 September 2017)

Excellent
Tessa (25 August 2017)

A very well equipped and spacious lodge in a relaxing and picturesque setting. Our only slight complaint would be that the bedrooms are a bit small and storage is impractical.
Alan from Coventry (19 August 2017)

Lovely lodge in a beautiful peaceful setting. Having a hot tube was really nice to relax in.
Michele (19 August 2017)

Lovely cabin, very comfy. Brilliant fishing and other activities available. Only downside there is no pub on site we had to drive but found a lovely pub about ten minutes away.
Anthony from Leeds (11 August 2017)

A little put off with a £25 surcharge to gain access before 1530 hrs
Bryan (07 August 2017)

Clean, well maintained cottages. Relaxing site near some beautiful coast. I would go back.
Michelle (07 August 2017)

The apartment was spotless, everything was new and there was ample room for 6 of us. The children absolutely loved the outdoor spa. Watching shooting stars at night from the hot tub was awsum.the golf course was ok (i've been spoilt in the chilterns), clay pigeon shooting facilities excellent and the location was wonderful. There was lots to do for children all around the area within a 15 mile drive. My only criticism, it was a shame that fishing rods and tackle could not be hired!. thank you for a very memorable week.
Giles from Hounslow (05 August 2017)

Prices of activities were higher than expected seeing we were staying on site. so we didnt use any of the fishing shooting or golf. . we couldnt find any prices on your website before we arrived, so disappointing in that respect and little point in staing at this location if not taking advantage of the amenities. We were a party of 5 who would have welcomed taster sessions in these activities, thats why I chose the venue!. lodge itself was great, roomy , well equipped and peaceful. . curry night was very disappointing quality and variety of dishes.
Madeline from Leicester (04 August 2017)

It was a beautiful lodge decorated to a high standard. all kitchen equipment was spotless. bathrooms very hygienic and clean. gorgeous and peaceful location. hot tub was also clean and was a nice additional touch. . overall I would definitely recommend and come back.
Susan from Dartford (04 August 2017)

Wlnderful
Elizabeth from Billericay (04 August 2017)

Great location, lodge fantastic and fishing right outside the lodge, will definitely be going back.
Kerry (04 August 2017)

Lovely lodge but no facilities on site
Debbie (04 August 2017)

Great stay been about five times always enjoy the holiday
Deborah from Canvey Island (31 July 2017)

We wanted to book a quiet relaxing break at the end of a busy school year. The lodge itself was lovely and comfortable apart from the settee that you could not sit on properly as it was lovely to look at but not at all comfy. The worst part of the holiday though was that the lodges are in the middle of a corporate shooting complex, which meant our relaxing quiet stay was more like living in a war zone with the constant shooting all day until late into the evenings some nights. This wasn't really a holiday park it was a shooting business which had some lodges on it. If you want a shooting holiday it would be great.
Sue from West Bergholt (28 July 2017)

Superb lodge, set in beautiful surroundings.the ideal place to meet up with family &friends.
Kathleen from Helensburgh Scotland (21 July 2017)

Eat drink fish what more is there
Carl from Harlow (15 July 2017)

This was our second visit since september 2016 and yet again we were not disappointed, the site is neat and tidy and all the staff kind and helpful ,the lodge was very clean and well equipped ,nothing having been forgotten. Our hot tub was well used in the evening after returning from a full day out and about.the beds were comfortable and having two large shower rooms was a bonus.being right on the lakeside watching the wildlife early in the morning sitting on the decking eating breakfast what could be better.
Pat from Sleaford Lincs (14 July 2017)

Excellent short break...we will return without a doubt! :)
Nigel from Towcester (14 July 2017)

Very nice stay
Customer 60 from Reydon Southwold (10 July 2017)

Very good although we had terrible with flies.i do think ovens need updating .
Dee from Saffron Walden Essex (08 July 2017)

Excellent 5 day break. Staff very helpful at all times. . food (breakfasts were v.good value for money.
Madeleine from Derby (07 July 2017)

Lovely location! perfect to get away from everyday life.
Martin from Barnsley (07 July 2017)

We loved it. would certainly go back. the location for exploring the suffolk coast was spot-on. that hot tub..fabulous after a long day out. on the whole it was very clean and well equipped. could have done with the restaurant being open at certain times - didn't get to use it. the lodge was a bit pricey. will keep a look out for deals.
Owen from Whitwick (01 July 2017)

Really clean lovely staff and surroundings would definitely recommend
Timothy from Stoke On Trent (30 June 2017)

We always have a lovely relaxing holiday at high lodge. The lodges are spacious and always spotless.
Lorraine from Newmarket (24 June 2017)

Stayed at waters edge 4 a few times...very comfortable .peaceful..i will always return..
John from Colchester (23 June 2017)

Lovely location very clean . lodges were very nice every thing you wanted the fishing was excellent will definitely stay there again
Sandra from Soham Ely Cambridgeshire (16 June 2017)

Fantastic holiday again. 5 stars all round, thank you.
Rosemary from Kings Lynn (29 May 2017)

Very helpful staff, immaculate lodge helped in our case by wonderful weather
Eileen from London (27 May 2017)

Exellent holiday at high lodge, lovely lodge, great fishing and very helpful staff.
Lynda from Rochester (22 May 2017)

Very relaxing clean and comfortable
Terry from Dartford (15 May 2017)

We have stayed at high lodge for at least six years on the trot now-look forward to a peaceful spring break. Great if you like shooting fishing or golf but also great if you just want a quiet relaxing holiday. Lots of places to visit a short distance away although a car is essential. we will be going again next year.
Diana from Upminster (05 May 2017)

Second stay at highlodge now and maybe a little discount will be nice for the next stay
Jason from Wymondham (28 April 2017)

Another lovely lodge stay.
John from Sheerness Kent (28 April 2017)

The lodge was very clean and in a great location. I wish that we had stayed for a week.
Brenda from Chelmsford (24 April 2017)

A lovely place to get away from everyone, but there is no evening entertainment!! i.e a bar to go to have a meal etc, however this is the 3rd time I have been and I have really enjoyed it every time with the family
David from Benfleet (17 April 2017)

This was our second visit to this lodge and still does not disappoint. The location on the side of the a12 is very convenient for access but no road noise is heard. The position of the lodge on the lake side is glorious with many species of wild bird to watch. . we wil certainly visit again and have already recommended this site to our friends.
Julie from Cambridge (17 April 2017)

Great lodge with everything you need. . just dissapointed with the lack of wi-fi, which was promised, in our lodge.
Clare from Wisbech (17 April 2017)

I had a lovely stay at high lodge, the staff were wonderful and the surroundings serene. I think I was a rare visitor to come without a car, which was only an issue if you needed a pint of milk but the staff came to my rescue with that one too. The lodge was ideal and I would love to book it again. Overall I would rate this an 8, as although it was in 120 acres there wasn't really any walking available as most of it was golf course or off limits. If you go particularly for the sports available I should imagine it is second to none. The sound of the clay pigeon shooting did impinge but did not really irritate. The restaurant was fine for breakfast and lunch.
Sarah from Shrewsbury (14 April 2017)

Perfect, we will be back again next year
Ian from Grantham (14 April 2017)

So peaceful and relaxing
Annemarie from Hertfordshire (07 April 2017)

Always a lovely peaceful place with good fishing and time to unwind
Michael from Dereham (31 March 2017)

Very nice lodge, clean andcomfortable,
Robert from Willenhall, West Midlands (24 March 2017)

Lovely accommodation and set in lovely area. Great place for sightseeing. . I would recommend this highly if you want to go out all day. But if you want a quiet relaxing time fishing or in hot tub it's not the place to go as the shooting going on over the field is noisy and off putting.
Sharon from Norwich (24 March 2017)

Lovely to watch birds rabbits hares and ducks wonderful view over lake. Lodge was lovely apart from uncomfortable beds! they need new mattress or topper on each. All four of us agreed this, especially one that is pregnant and one other with bad back. Settees need cushions too very hard. The restaurant on site was excellent. Was quieter than we had thought with only occasional shooting going on. Nice places to visit such as southwold the walled garden and woodbridge. queens head does lovely meals nearby. Went for husbands 70th birthday meal. Excellent! coop on site very handy. I hope that they change mattresses then would definitely go again, only thing that spoilt our holiday. lots of lovely fluffy towels provided excellent. 2 bath sheet 1 hair each.
Brenda from Essex (24 March 2017)

Beyond expectations.
Roger from Leicester (06 March 2017)

Fab location and everything we wanted
Damian (03 March 2017)

Great fun, would definitely go again. Lots of things to do, sightseeing and activities on site. Nice get away.
Stacey from London (18 February 2017)

Lovely place but could do with a small area safe for kids to play.
Jon from Westgate On Sea (17 February 2017)

The place was absolutely amazing!! hot tub in the winter is a great idea! the cabin was immaculate and required everything we needed. Beds were a tad hard and uncomfortable but not a big deal. And would be nice if the restaurant on site cooked dinner :) but 10 out of 10 from us!
Laura from London (17 February 2017)

Loved it. second stay here. great location. quiet site but that's ok.
Tracy (17 February 2017)

Extremely clean, spacious, well looked after and well stocked lodge. Nice and quiet, just the way we like it. the children absolutely loved the spacious lodge and they could run about around the lake and watch the ducks. Very good location and very clean. Well done to the whole housekeeping team. . we will definitely be returning and would recommend it very highly wanting clean, spacious , well appointed and well catered for lodge.
Nitin from London (13 February 2017)

The lodge was on a quiet site overlooking a fishing lake, with beautiful countryside views. The only blot on the landscape were two 'ugly' containers that were left near the site entrance :(
Michelle from Kings Lynn (13 February 2017)

Excellent staff, good accomadation. very good base to explore suffolk & norfolk coastlines. The co op on the a12 just by the entrance to high lodge was very convenient. .
Adele from Newnham, Hampshire (06 January 2017)

Nice quiet relaxing christmas break. the park entrance is situated next to the a12 so not too easy to miss, but because of the size of this park the lodge we did not hear any traffic noise.
Kevin from Colchester (27 December 2016)

It was a lovely location and central to the places we wanted to visit. Would have appreciated clothes washing facilities and a bar/restaurant would have been nice.
Marina from Lincolnshire (07 October 2016)

Lovely lodge set next to the lake in quiet surroundings. everything you need in the lodge for self catering. the fishing was good too!
Jayne from Lowestoft (17 September 2016)

Very nice, comfortable lodges, clean and helpful staff
Jacqueline (16 September 2016)

One of the lovliest places to stay. The lodge was perfect, nothing missing. Beautifully clean. Wonderfull location ,right on the edge of the lake. It was perfect waking up to that beautiful view every morning. . there is absolutely nothing bad to say about high lodge. Will definitely be coming back.
Corienne from Bedfordshire (12 September 2016)

Beautiful little hideaway amazing lodge - I scored many brownie points for finding this!
Iain from Doncaster (12 September 2016)

Hot tub wasn't working the first night and only one lot of jets worked overall, meal voucher given as compensation. Shame the clubhouse wasn't open on an evening so we had to use the voucher for an early evening meal on the wednesday. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lodge was nice and well equipped. I feel you pay a lot to go there so the fishing permit should be included in the cost of the holiday, you shouldn't have to pay extra on top. I think it would make a big difference to the complex if the club house opened until 8 a few nights a week to give you the option of somewhere to go within walking distance were you could have a drink and something to eat. Overall a quiet and relaxing break in a nice location
Sarah from Hull (29 August 2016)

This is the best holiday site we have ever stayed on, the accommodation was so spacious - it was fantastic. the lodge was clean and the setting very tranquil. if you are after a quiet and relaxing break then I would highly recommend high lodge. the only negative is that there is very little on site to do and, what there is, is out of the price range of the average working family.
Jane from Worcester (27 August 2016)

Absolutely cracking location in a lovely part of the world
Paul from London (26 August 2016)

Nicely situated around a peaceful setting. Great location for sightseeing in the area eg southwold is lovely
David from Grimsby (22 August 2016)

It was a beautiful location. The lodge was very clean and up to date. We had a problem with the hot tub at one point and the staff were very helpful and sorted the problem very quickly. I would recommend to friends and family.
Kate from Upminster (13 August 2016)

A top holiday lodge. Second visit first class and very clean. No washing machine, but you are on holiday.
Margaret from Mansfield. (06 August 2016)

Overall a nice holiday in a convenient environment for travelling to a variety of places
Norman from Worksop (25 July 2016)

A hidden gem! beautiful location, terrific staff and lovely accommodation arranged around a pretty lake. well equipped lodges, spacious and clean. recommend
Karen (18 July 2016)

Second time here but this time recovering from a damaged back still managed to do a bit of fishing thanks to luke for lending me some gear, we have already booked next year.
Carl from Harlow (16 July 2016)

Nice and relaxing around the lake. Plenty to see out and about. Weather was terrible 10 miles in each direction, but was fine at the lodge. Couple of valleys redirection the bad weather away.
Scott (15 July 2016)

The lodge was very nice and modern, the beds were ok but the mattresses weren't the best quality. Pillows were rubbish it was like sleeping on a paper bag. If you don't like fishing shooting or golf then don't stay here, prices for shooting was very expensive. They need to extend the opening times for food, if you want anything after2.30 better go to the local shop, they need to open more than one night a week. Apart from that it was ok.
Glenn from Norwich (15 July 2016)

Lovely lodge nice quiet setting good fishing great hot tub met the owner very nice guy nice meal in the restaurant on the wednesday would book again poss. Next spring
David from Swansea (09 July 2016)

Could do with having a central fire of some kind bath robes for hot tub
Michael from Chesterfield (04 June 2016)

Hot tub very basic and some parts of lodge dirty continuous noise of shotgun fire
Gerald from Rochester (03 June 2016)

We had a lovely it was just a shame about the weather
John (03 June 2016)

Could do with brighter lighting to make reading easier in the evening.
Anthony from Letchworth (27 May 2016)

Beautiful lodge in tranquil location.
Trish from Harwich, Essex (20 May 2016)

Our second stay at high lodge; we weren't disappointed. Lovely, peaceful and comfortable in every way.
Kay from Kent (16 April 2016)

Loved the lodge and the hot tub, would definitely stay here again
Anthony from Sudbury, Suffolk (08 April 2016)

Lovely accommodation clean and well kept. Would have been nice to be able to walk to a near by restaurant or eating place in he evening
Stephanie (08 April 2016)

Group booking of 5 lodges for family weekend. great lodges, great site, will be back!
Tina from Colchester (04 April 2016)

What a lovely place for a short break! the location of high lodge is ideal, right on the side of the a12 but the lodges are located far enough away from the road so as to not get traffic noise. Being on the side of the lake was very restful and peaceful. Although we did not personally use the facilities on offer ie. Restaurant, fishing, golf, shooting range etc, at least they were available and clearly popular with other holiday makers. had we been there for longer, no doubt they would have been used. We would recommend high lodge and its facilities to any propective client.
Ian from Cambridge (28 March 2016)

The two bedroom robin lodge was immaculately clean and presentable thorough out. Plenty of space. Nice location. Friendly staff. Only downside were the check-in and check-out times. To check out an hour late upon request had a £25 fee which I think is unreasonable given the check-in time of 4-5pm. An optional hour check-out time should be available without charge if required. Stayed at hotels where they are happy to accomdiate this without an additional charge. Keeps the customer happy!
Fatia from Norfolk (07 March 2016)

What a lovely place to relax. The lodge was very clean and well maintained, we had a starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar and milk in the kitchen which was a nice touch. . the cooker, however, is not a fan oven so beware if you try to cook any meals! the sunday carvery is a must - great value for money and lots of choice. . the little co-op by the entrance to the site is fantastic as well. . staff are very friendly and helpful. . there is a lot of noise throughout the day from the shooting, but we expected it from reading other reviews and knew about it before booking. Ideal base to visit aldeburgh and southwold too. Wouldn't hesitate in going back.
Claire from Stansted (22 February 2016)

The lodge was absolutely amazing great value very well presented just absolutely stunning g will definitely book again and have already recommended you to others
Lucy from Enfield (19 February 2016)

Great holiday. lovely lodge. great hot tub. initial issue with hot tub was resolved very quickly and with very helpful staff. I burnt my arm on the towel rail (surely they should not be that hot) - but otherwise no complaints.
Tracy (19 February 2016)

Fantastic location for a quiet break. great clubhouse to get breakfast, lunches or snacks. very helpful staff and the lodge was extremely comfortable, clean and spacious. not much at the site for children, so could perhaps benefit from a playground, but lots of nice places a short drive away to keep them entertained. would definitely visit again. Thank you.
Helen from Colchester (15 February 2016)

A fantastic place. It exceeded our expectations!
Nicola (15 February 2016)

Lodges were well equipped complete with a dishwasher. Great have a hot tub which the staff check the chemicals daily. Shame that the restaurant wasn't open for evening meals and drinks. Staff on arrival at reception very pleasant and welcoming.
Susan from King'S Lynn (03 January 2016)

We really enjoyed our stay- our lodge was lovely the only fault we could find was no where to hang our outdoor coats so that's just a minor detail. All the staff were very helpful and as I stated the lodge was just perfect for our break and our family requirements.
Susanne from King'S Lynn (03 January 2016)

Lovely stay but think check out times should be reviewed. A large shooting party were there when I was checking out & it was chaotic, crowded and took ages
Lyn from St Albans (30 December 2015)

Overall, excellent.
Derek from Colchester (30 December 2015)

Best christmas ever at high lodge . lovely surroundings, excellent lodges and perfect location.. our babies first christmas was the best spent here!
Hannah from Barwell (27 December 2015)

Had a fantastic weekend stay. . the lodge was fantastic and had everything we needed, we didn't need to leave all weekend. The staff were really helpful and friendly and our hot tub was treated each day. We would definitely return to high lodge again and maybe try out the club house.
Aimee from Suffolk (21 December 2015)

Just noise of clay pigeon shot early in morning bit much !
Jane (30 November 2015)

Really enjoyed our stay in particular the fishing and shooting for my husband would just have liked the bar to have been open at all
Jackie from Chesterfield (27 November 2015)

We had a lovely time! the lodge was beautiful and the lake was stunning. . it was very handy that there were shops near by. . really looking forward to going again in the summer
Toni (16 November 2015)

Very nice holiday, but as we put on the feedback form, it was noisy because of the clay shooting. It could also benefit with a nature trail around the site, its too good not to have one.
James from Shefford (14 November 2015)

Fantastic place to stay. Just the place for a quite get away. Would recommend to anyone
Rosemary from Kedington Suffolk (09 November 2015)

We had a lovely week. The lodge was comfortable. weather was good and we where able to get out and about most days. It was a great place to spend quality time with our son and grandchildren.
Janet from Hadleigh Suffolk (31 October 2015)

All great , but track to lodges from reception could be smarted up to the same standard everywhere else. It was the only fault I had though.
Stephen from Surbiton (30 October 2015)

We had an amazing stay at high lodge. The surroundings are beautiful. Lots of activities to do. Staff are very pleasant, we ate at the high lodge carvery on the sunday & it was very nice & relaxed.
Tracey from Essex (26 October 2015)

Hope to stay longer and participate in some of their activities!
Lyle from Luton (25 October 2015)

The lodge was immaculately clean and ideally located to visit southwold, aldburgh, leiston and rspb minsmere. Staff were very friendly and we had a great breakfast in the club house after checking out on our last day.
Claire from Bedfordshire (24 October 2015)

Very very nice
Fahey from Lincoln (16 October 2015)

Lovely location, even had a green woodpecker in front of our lodge one morning. a large barn owl was also seen in the meadow opposite on two occasions. brilliant location to explore the area with plenty of walking on well marked footpaths.
Customer 147 (10 October 2015)

Beautiful lodge with picturesque surroundings and ducks outside the patio doors every morning. . the whole place was very clean and had everything you need. . it was our first family getaway and is one we will never forget. . staff were really helpful and made us feel very welcome and made a fuss of our 7 month old little girl which was really nice. Breakfast in the cafe was brilliant too, fresh and extremely tasty.
Kyle from Gorleston (09 October 2015)

Our 2nd stay what can we say everything you need beautiful lodge ,relaxing ,romantic, over looking the lake and love the hot tub the place is perfect. Only one tiny fault we rang and booked a table for the carvery but when we turned up they had no booking for us they did find us a table and can't fault the food but service needs a little organisation . we will definitely be going back our special place.
Shirley from Romford (21 September 2015)

Second visit and will come again, very nice place.
Keith from Northants (21 September 2015)
