"Beautifully converted 18th Century stone barn cottage, 200 yds from the fishing lake. Ground floor: One double and one twin. First floor: Open plan lounge/diner/kitchen. Central heating. Log fire. No pets."
It was the most calming, relaxing and peaceful place I have ever been to. You have your own space and no-one is near you to bother you. Well worth the money and we'll be going back again! Mrs C from Barrow-In-Furness
It was a very peaceful location, nice to relax and recharge the batteries. Very close to Pontyberem, Carmarthen, The National Botanical Gardens and forty to forty five mins way was Swansea. If you are into fly fishing the lake was well stocked with fish. It was kept nice and tidy throught out the park - we really enjoyed it and are thinking of going back again! 10/10 Mrs C from Barrow-In-Furness
If you would like to combine a little trout fishing along with your family holiday and you like a tranquil countryside setting with comfortable accommodation then this fits the bill nicely! Mr D from Reading
Very Relaxing and very quiet.A great place to get away from it all and just chill out. Mr M from Bracknell
The view from the lodge was breathtaking, and it was so quiet and peaceful that within hours I had relaxed and chilled. My 2 boys (aged 14 and 11) ran themselves ragged with our dog in the surrounding fields and loved it too - a wonderful place!! Ms D from Lancaster
This short break holiday was everything and more than what we expected. The location was superb, the cleanliness of the log cabin was excellent and the facilities in the cabin was very good with everything you need. I would highly recommend this location as it is near a lot of woodland walks and historic locations, and the owners of the park were very pleasent and helpful. Mr P from Redruth
The cabin was fantastic, very peaceful and rural. I have never had such a relaxing holiday! Miss A from High Wycombe

There is plenty to see in Carmarthenshire and the views from the cottage are outstanding. The owner was very friendly and helpful and it was a great place to take a break! Mr M from Didcot

A very pleasant stay with very friendly owners and easy access from motorways. Mr B from Market Drayton
From the start to the finish this holiday was fantastic, the owner was extremely helpful and friendly and the accommodation was excellent and in a beautiful, quiet setting with fantastic views - infact we've booked again for next year! Thanks! Mrs M from Keighley
We stayed here for a week in November recently, and thoroughly enjoyed its beautiful location, peace and tranquility. The lodge was very cosy and warm and the owner very pleasant and helpful. The town of Camarthern was only a 20 minute car ride away and offered all the facilites one could need. We visited several places locally and always welcomed returning to our accommodation at the end of each day. We would certainly return in the Spring/Summer months to get yet another aspect of the park. We enjoyed feeding the birds from our verandah and saw nuthatches galore! Mr P from Woodbridge
I would highly recommend this holiday if you prefer the countryside, beautiful landscapes and relaxing atmosphere and great open spaces for children and dogs. It is within an easy drive of most tourist hotspots and local amenities - next time we'll be fishing! Mr S from Swindon
We have stayed in a few lodges around the counrty and this one was very good and as advertised, the accomodation was very clean and had all that we needed, we could take our dogs which was also a bonus. there are only 2 lodges, (there is also a caravan club site here) we stayed at the Ash lodge overlooking the lovely trout fishing lake, it is a very peaceful place and we are not interested in fishing but you could walk round it (and watch the fish jumping!) it is in a lovely spot. It was about a 10 - 15 minute drive from the end of the M4 through some country lanes. If you like walking it is a good place for the Brecons or as we did visting the Gower which is about 3/4 hour away and has some lovely sandy beaches and walks. Miss C from Honiton
It was really peaceful and we both soon relaxed. It was nice to watch the activity on the fishing lakes - both human and bird! Lots of wildlife to view, rabbits, squirrels, owl, fox and all kinds of birds - great, and the dog loved it. Ms R from Oswestry
We found this holiday location perfect! Mrs S from Scarborough
Its a peaceful location with excellent fly fishing on site. I have booked this accommodation several times over the last 15 years - its location and surroundings are the reason I keep going back! Mr W from Cwmbran
An excellent location for a quiet and relaxing break away in the country, with plenty of countryside for walking - an excellent holiday! Miss D
A little bit of paradise! Mrs C
An excellent break for anyone wanting a quiet and relaxed holiday. Mr H
Its location is far from the rush of present day living. If you are a fisherman there is plenty of fishing available on site. The accommodation is very nicely furnished including all the kitchen utensils you will ever need. A quiet, peaceful and enjoyable holiday with a very courteous owner ensuring all is well. Mr L
A beautiful and peaceful setting. If one wants a restful break to chill out, this provides every opportunity. Also the owners were very helpful and obliging. Mr G
