We arrived on the Friday early just to see where the lodge was situated. We were greeted by one of the staff who was very helpful. We explained that we had only come to see where we were staying and would hen be off again. On our return we were again greeted and shown round the cabin. The log cabin was perfect in every way clean, tidy and warm. The hot tub was fantastic and really made the holiday especially after a 14 mile bike ride!!The location was ideal for exploring the Forest of Dean and the local food was excellent and the staff were excellent and we cant wait to return!!!!! I would thoroughly recommend Ford Farm Lodges. The location is perfect for a quiet, romantic getaway and the staff are really friendly. This was my first time using a hot tub and it was unbelievably relaxing. We took the dog who enjoyed her walks of 6 hours and 4 hours, there are plenty of footpaths in the local area and the weather was perfect for walking even in February. We will definitely be back! We loved going to the Forest of Dean and being able to have accommodation where we could easily take our dogs.
