Beautiful cottage with real character, very small but that's what gave it charm. Confirmed Guest (07 May 2018)
Needs internet connection they could achieve this for 20 a month and charge it weekly.also need a vac a broom and a mop and bucket.the garden area could be superb .need to update the oven and hob to induction and fan oven we like to cook . Confirmed Guest from Coventry (04 May 2018)
Brilliant location for walking and visiting some really nice villages but found the cottage overpriced, it needed some tlc as it was in need of some maintenance the dado rail was coming off the wall upstairs, the character of the cottage would have been comfortable if the interior was a bit more updated whilst keeping in with the theme of country cottage. Didn't like the bedside lamps on extension cable across bedroom floor. Julie from Chesterfield (30 May 2015)
The description online is not what we found on are arrival, very cold cottage no heating on when we arrived, heater in shower room blowing cold air, we had to turn on electric heating and that was on a timer, so did not come on till next day,can see daylight through doors so very draftie, (lovingly renovated)!!!! appalling d.i.y, curtains grubbie and drab, very very disappointed would have come home if not for weather being good, will not be going back to this cottage Robert from Ely (20 February 2015)
Cottage was freezing when we went in. Heater in the bathroom didn't work. Cottage should definitely not be advertised as 3 bed, as sleeping area for 3rd person is not sufficient Elizabeth from Cambridge (03 January 2015)
The cottage was very uncomfortable. the bedding was very thin and old and smelly and the mattress was just awful. the bedding for our friend was covered in dog hair. the whole place felt grimy, so much so that we didn't want to eat there so ate out, we came home early as we were so uncomfortable and wanted to get home to feel clean and comfy. Sarah from Kent (17 November 2014)
We loved the cottage. It was pretty much as I expected and the log fire was great. Cottage garden full of herbs which we used in cooking. Very well equipped above expectation making it homely. But does need a small freezer area in fridge for a little food. It was quite a lack not having the garden contained safely for the dogs. After all it is advertised as suitable for pets and for which you pay. There is a busy road right outside so it definitely need a gate.the settee and chair could be larger and more comfortable. Would have made sitting in front of the lovely fire more pleasurable. Kay from Essex (25 October 2014)
This was a tiny, cosy cottage but unfortunately it could do with a bit of an overhaul and update. on the surface it looked clean and it was tidy, but there were cobwebs in the corners of some of the rooms and it looked like under the bed had not been hoovered for ages. if these matters were addressed then we would be happy to stay at the cottage again. it is an excellent location for exploring the surrounding suffolk areas Patricia from Hertfordshire (04 October 2014)
Lovely quaint cottage in a good location. Perfect for two. A gate is needed to make the garden safe for dogs. Evelyn from London (20 September 2014)
It is a quaint cottage that needs some maintenace, a washing machineor at least a washing line and fridge freezer. It is cosy with enough heating and utensils. a nice quiet area for walks etc and accomodates pets. Betty from Camberwell (30 August 2014)
Lovely little cottage - and it was little ! - in an ideal spot to explore east suffolk .perhaps not ideal for anyone with physical problems as stairs very steep and a bit awkward - but we loved it! a very nice garden - lots of culinary herbs . great for two people and we'd book again. We live in an old quirky cottage ourselves and felt quite at home - those more used to a modern home with all mod cons might find this cottage somewhat different . the local village shop is well stocked and very helpful - pub also very pleasant , nice garden with great views - bit surprised it shut so early on the sunday after an aldeburgh festival event in the wonderful church in blythburgh. Ken from Wales (16 June 2014)
Lovely village, the garden was advertised as "enclosed" in fact our dog had easy access to the road. Some cutlery in the drawers were dirty. Windows were dropping out upstairs, and the downstairs ones were dirty with dead flies in cobwebs shower tray was dirty too Kathryn from Awsworth (07 September 2013)
We liked trinity cottage. the location is great with the estuary walks close by and the friendly pub in staggering distance. Southwold is a short drive away. be aware though - it's small. it is a c19 farm cottage. We had great weather so could make use of the cottage garden but I think we would have struggled if we had been confined for the full week. Richard from Tetney (17 August 2013)
