A very spacious and pleasant accomodation. Extremely good sized bedrooms and bathroom. Hot tub a definite bonus and a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. The only negatives we could find was some of the furnishings were slightly tired (i.e.quilt covers with buttons missing). The views from the property were spectacular and the location was within easy reach of Caernarfon by car. Nearby Gypsy Wood is worth a visit if you have small children and also The Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwyn Bay is a worthwhile day trip. Mrs L from Rossendale (08 September 2012)
Full marks for the area, so many places to visit and an excellent nearby beach. The cottage and garden provided excellent space for all of us with 2 dogs. The downsides were - no TV in the bedroom and the tumble dryer was rarly free. The hot tub smelt of cabbage after 3 days, we were told it was due to us not showering before entering - this was not the case. Mrs F from Worcester (21 July 2012)
This was a lovely cottage, perhaps not the most attractive building from the outside but the interior more than made up for it! The under floor heating meant that it was always very warm and cosy. It is well equipped and the solid floors meant it was perfect for dogs! I note an earlier review states there is no tumble dryer. This is located outside the main building. The location is stunning, in the country yet near to the town, each morning we woke up to our nearest neighbours the sheep with their lambs. We loved the hot tub it was particulary nice after dark. There is lots to see and do in the area and even after a fortnight we hadn't managed to do everything we had planned! We were sorry to leave! Ms S from Melrose (02 April 2011)
property good and spacious, ideal for a pet dog. Area is quiet but a good base to explore the west side of N Wales. Excellent blue flag beach a mile away. Mr J from Stockport (01 April 2011)
Lovely cottage to stay in, note before going there is no tumble dryer, so take extra towels for hot tub. Views were amazing and there are some great days out close by, the castle, mountain zoo and horse riding were some of our favourites. Miss T from Ashbourne (21 February 2011)
Accommodation and facilities were great and the owners friendly and helpful throughout the stay. A peaceful setting with wonderful views and sheep for neighbours. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs. It was autumn so had to chase the weather a bit but found a wide variety of places to go within an hours drive (Snowdonia, Betws-y-Coed, Lleyn Peninsula, Portmeiron etc). Hot tub was the thing that made it that bit special, either relaxing after a day out or watching the sun come up over the hills in the morning. Loved it!! Mr E from Manchester (10 October 2010)
Very peaceful location. Mrs S from Dagenham (12 July 2010)
The cottage was stunning with views across the Snowdonia mountain range, a beautiful hot tub, a massive garden which the dogs thoroughly enjoyed and a sandy beach at the end of the road. The location was perfect for everything, Snowdon only 20 minutes, Anglessey 20 minutes everything about the holiday and the location was simply perfect, the beach at night is a personal recommendation with the sunset over the bay, with a BBQ and a bottle of wine you could be anywhere in the world simply stunning!!! Mrs B from Leeds (13 September 2009)
The cottage is secluded with a good self contained garden, which is ideal for the children to safely run around in and keep the dog contained. The views were lovely and only a mile from the beach. Caernarfon is about a 10 min drive with supermarkets, plenty of places to eat and the castle of course. The local pub in Llandwrog is a 5 minute drive and serves good bar food. The Glynllifon Country Park is less than 5 minutes drive and is a great place to go and explore. Mr N from Clitheroe (23 July 2009)
Outstanding cottage, excellent location, perfect for dogs and family. We will be returning in the future. mrs G from Nottingham (21 July 2009)
Close to a lovely beach, a quiet country park, and sightseeing venues like Caernarvon and Snowdonia. There is a beautiful view from the house of fields and mountains. Mr. M from Ware (11 June 2009)
The cottage is in an excellent location - beautiful views and very peaceful. Furnishings and decor are of a very high standard and the owners are very welcoming and helpful. The hot-tub was the icing on the cake - we were in there every day. Mr D from Brigend (23 August 2008)
A very well presented cottage, with spectacular views from the hot tub! Mr C from Stone (28 June 2008)
It was a fantastic location, lovely cottage, lots of space, the hot tub was incredible, the views were out of this world, chocolates, wine and fresh flower on arrival truly made this a holiday to remember Mr F from Clitheroe (31 May 2008)
This cottage is the best place we have been in North Wales for the last a few years, it had everything you need from sandy beach, hot tub, power shower, whirpool bath, barberque, garden swing, enclosed garden, beautiful view, and tranquiality, plus friendly owners. The property is furnished to a high standard, we could not explain enough how lovely it was. Mrs A from Stoke On Trent (10 May 2008)
