It was perfect. Everything was as it said in the advert. Cheryl from Frimley Surrey (12 June 2015)
Lovely little property perfect for one or two people. instow isn't for you if you are looking for a bustling location, but it has great access to other places through regular buses and the property being just a few yards from the tarka trail is fantastic. instow does have a few good restaurants and pubs though so still plenty to go with for a week. a lovely beach although no lapping waves due to it not being that sort of beach - incredibly popular with dog walkers and very pretty. the property is lovely with loads of parking and great access to the beach. the hot tub is a great touch - very very minor downside being not very good views from the hottub, but the upside being it is very secluded. the owners are lovely and will go out of their way for you if you need anything. highly recommended! Dianne from Cheltenham (13 February 2015)
The bed was a little to soft for us but absolutely perfect otherwise loved it Andrea (30 January 2015)
Perfect in every way Thomas from Slough (01 December 2014)
We had a fantastic stay. Phil from London (27 October 2014)
This is the best equipped and furnished accommodation we have used. a cream tea was provided upon our arrival and our hosts were attentive and keen to ensure that we wanted for nothing. the hot tub was a welcome addition. the location was suberb, just yards from the beach and lovely restaurants and quiet bars Jennifer from Swindon (10 October 2014)
Perfect position just steps away from the beach. very private patio and hot tub area but the owners also offer you full use of their big garden. lovely views of appledore from the lounge and bedroom windows. loft is very well equipped with a lovely new bathroom. Yes, we would stay again. Kathryn from Sleaford, Lincolnshire (19 September 2014)

Myrtle loft is a lovely cottage ideally located for easy access to north devon's attractions ,towns and beaches . the owners are there if you need them and couldn't be more helpful whilst respecting your privacy . spacious accommodation and a beautiful view and garden . would give it full tens if there was a dishwasher and fridge/freezer .already booked to go back twice next year ! John from Swadlincote (16 May 2014)
Lovely accommodation in instow, which has some wonderful views and sunsets along the estuary. One of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! very friendly hosts on site. John from Norwich (25 April 2014)
We could not have asked for more. The accomodation was excellent. And contained everything you could possibly wish for. The hot tub. Was a great way to relax. Perfectly placed to walk to the beach, pubs and . shop. Also easy access to the surround towns. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, but also gave you. Your privacy. We could not rate this highly enough. Simon from Farnborough (09 August 2013)
I absolutely loved this place! Me and my boyfriend stayed here for the weekend as a belated birthday present getaway for him. Myrtle Loft is so cute! The bed was fantastically comfortable and we both slept really well. The hot tub was fantastic at the end of a long week, incredibly relaxing and warm and very private. You are right on the beach and have some really pretty views from the bedroom. In short I could talk about the good points of this cottage for ages. The bad points, it's a bit difficult to find as it's down a drive and I had to phone the owners for directions from the road and my boyfriend drove down after work and found the drive difficult in the car. In short we are definitely looking at going back, it was a wonderful, pretty place and we both loved it! Miss R from Plymouth (16 November 2012)
The accommodation is excellent home from home with a very nice view over the sea plenty of eateries in walking distance. Jane Harris is a very helpful person but not intrusive, nice seating area outside with sunbeds etc. Well equipped kitchen really couldn't fault it. Mr S from Horley (29 May 2011)
Ideal retreat for a couple, lots of lovely walks. Also ideal for cyclists. Many places of interest off the beaten track to visit, best of all a choice of gastro pub and resturant meals within a couple of minutes walk from property. Mrs B from Wallingford (27 March 2011)
A lovely unspoilet part of Devon, a quiet little village easy walking, should be kept secret !! Miss C from Stoke-On-Trent (10 July 2010)
Beautiful location, a stonesthrow from long sandy beach. Very quiet but located in area with lots to see either by car or by bike as next to Tarka Trail. Owners very friendly and can't do enough for you - made to feel very welcome. Would book again if go to this area of Devon again. Mrs C from Betchworth (06 June 2010)
Fanastic location with a very warm welcome. Devon cream tea delicious after a long journey. Owner was very helpful with area information - places to visit, eat and shop. Mytle loft was extremely well equipped and offered comfortable home from home enviroment. We would heartily recommend to all who wish to visit North Devon and Exmoor areas. Ms B from Leek (26 May 2010)
Myrtle loft was the cleanest, prettiest cottage we have ever stayed in. Perfectly located cloase to local amenities with beautiful views across the estuary and close to all the main attractions in North Devon. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely like to go back! Miss C from Bromley (21 April 2010)
I was attracted to this place by the photos on the web site and its nearness to the water. It did not disappoint in any way at all. We were delighted by the high quality of all the amenities within the cottage, the warm welcome and the fact that we were taking this holiday over new year but were kept beautifully warm the whole time. A real home from home. I could not recommend it more highly. Mrs T from Sheffield (07 January 2010)
A good location, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Mrs C from Luton (23 August 2009)

Myrtle Loft is just lovely and there was a delicious cream tea waiting for us on arrival!! Instow is a pretty unspoilt small town with good pubs and restaurants - a great place to get away from it all! Mrs Y from West Malling (21 March 2008)
