Lovely cottage in a perfect location . very clean and well maintained, we have stayed at fishermans cottage twice now and certainly intend to stay there again in the future, the only criticism we have is the seating in the lounge we feel would be inadequate if 5 people were staying , and whilst the setee looks modern it's not very comfortable, with a change of seating in the lounge the rating for the cottage would be 10 in every category s Chris from Tamworth (27 June 2015)
Fisherman's cottage is first class, very comfortable & well equipped with a lovely touch of a hamper basket, perfect postion just yards from the quay, only down side was the parking, think it should be stressed it is difficult to get a medium to large car in position, we had to park side ways on & if the next cottage along had parked in their space we would not been able to get on, this is the why we would probably not return. John from Rugby. (17 April 2015)
Good location & welcoming atmosphere (heating & lights on) Sandra from Llandudno Junction (28 March 2015)
Fisherman's cottage can only be highly recommended. there were a couple of minor housekeeping issues but a wonderful welcoming pack including bottle of wine, fresh bread etc .. no garden but only 25/30 yards from atmospheric wells next the sea quay. so much to see and do nearby and in the area .. a walk along the coastal path through the dunes to the splendid sands at burnham overy staithe not to be missed! Brenda from Essex (28 February 2015)
I thought they went to a lot of trouble to ensure we had a lovely time eg like treats and information. Julia from Newton-Le-Willows (28 December 2014)
Fabulous cottage, very well equipped and beautifully decorated, in a great location just steps from the quay, town centre and places to eat out. It was very comfortable and warm and in a quiet lane with the bonus of parking for either 2 very small cars or otherwise one. Two luxurious beds in large bedrooms, the only thing left on our wish list would have been a walk in shower! baths are lovely but not for everyone. Would happily visit again, no garden for enjoying the summer sun though. Delighted with our break. Kathryn from Stowmarket (15 November 2014)
Extremely lovely cottage, clean , comfortable and homely. Lovely location. parking was ok but a little tight, other than that it was really a lovely holiday. Janet from Lincolnshire (11 October 2014)
Very high standard and convenient location. The two parking spaces are a real help in busy wells! Steven from Oxted (30 August 2014)
Beautiful cottage, lovely location. Extremely impressed with the welcome pack from the owner Chris from Tamworth (21 June 2014)
A beautifully appointed cottage in a brilliant location. Everything you could wish for in the cottage. The only thing I would have wished for that wasn't there was a garden/courtyard but as you were so close the the quay it was not a great hardship. Had a wonderful stay. Margaret from Dunstable (16 May 2014)
A lovely cottage, everything you could need for a great holiday. Lovely location - would use again. Alan from Ruislip (10 May 2014)
The cottage was well located next to the harbour and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay. The only problem was the parking which got the holiday off to a bad start. The spaces were too small for our cars and the neighbours were soon out to complain about us unloading before we moved to a public car park. Perhaps the literature should say that parking is for small cars only. Keith (03 May 2014)
This is our second stay this year. We love the cottage, wells next the sea, and the surrounding location. Holkham hall is a delight, seal spotting was fascinating and dinosaur land just wonderful. To top it all the weather was fabulous. Just brilliant. Angela (31 August 2013)
Our cottage was beautiful and generously equipped with everything we could possibly need. The owner also provided a much appreciated welcome pack of basic groceries and a bottle of wine. Mrs L from Haywards Heath (04 July 2011)

A beautiful cottage, extremely clean and welcoming! Perfectly situated - couldn't fault it! Mrs B from Leicester (26 October 2010)
Fisherman's Cottage is perfectly situated for all the facilities at Wells-next-the-sea, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The welcome pack, including fresh bread, fruit and a bottle of wine was very much appreciated and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage wholeheartedly. Judging by the comments in the visitors' book, this view was shared by all previous occupants too. Mrs M from High Peak (26 September 2010)
Fishermans cottage is an excellent place to stay in Wells and offers everything family needs for a super holiday base. The facilities and cleanliness were "top notch" and I would unresevedly recommend this holiday. Mr R from Selby (05 September 2010)
Yes, excellent cottage and location. Mrs G from Reading (24 August 2010)
Very well equipped cottage in an excellent location. Would certainly recommend to family and friends. Mrs B from Bromsgrove (21 June 2010)
Such a lovely cottage and so close to all the amenities. Mr S from Cambridge (16 May 2010)
Fishermans Cottage is an ideal base for exploring North Norfolk. The Cottage is first class, location, decor, facilities are exeptional. It takes 10 Seconds to walk to the Quayside. Having your own parking space is a real plus in Wells, although anything larger than a medium sized family car will require careful driving. But all in all a throughly recommended holiday location. Mr H from Harrogate (09 May 2010)
Fantastic cottage in a perfect location - plenty to see and do in the town and surrounding area. Mrs A from East Grinstead (21 April 2010)
The property and location was perfect. The owners had left a great welcome pack to kick start our holiday. The beach was within walking distance with a little train that runs between the Quay and the holiday park/beach should you need it. There are some great family attractions to visit nearby. For eating out, there are pubs and restaurants only a short walk from the cottage. We will recommend this cottage to friends and family. Mr T from Colchester (13 April 2010)
I would recommend to anybody as it was excellent all round! Mrs K from Great Yarmouth (09 December 2009)
We had a fanastic time here, the location was fab, the cottage is absolutley lovely and and great little touches on arrival. Loads to do - the kids loved going crabbing along the quay, and the beach is good, I would recommend driving down, cheaper than getting train if 4 of you - £3.50 for the day. Our best meal was at the Cornerhouse, great fish dishes, the Crown and Globe were great for food too. We will definitely book to come here again. Mr L from Northampton (29 August 2009)
Fisherman's Cottage is beautiful and provides a fantastic base for exploring this lovely area. The town of Wells has plenty to do and lots of places to eat and drink. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday in first class accommodation with lots of thoughtful touches, then this is the place for you. Ms M from Edinburgh (05 July 2009)

Superb location, really clean and well equipped Dr W from Camberley (07 June 2008)
Fisherman's Cottage was lovely, spacious, airy and light. Just far enough off the quay side to be peaceful but 5 steps from everything, including an excellent Deli! Mrs B from Norwich (21 April 2008)
