Fantastic location Les from Essex (26 June 2015)
A beautiful location and friendly owners on the doorstep, but our pet fell very ill within 2 days of arriving resulting in her euthanasia. The direct cause is a mystery. She had not left the cottage and immediate surroundings. Geoff from Upminster (15 May 2015)
A magical location to 'get away from it all' and a good base from which to explore the many delights of north norfolk. Valerie from Kingston (19 September 2014)
Highly recommended. Beautiful setting Mark from Colchester (29 August 2014)

Very nice place - excellent for relaxing. We would like to come back again!! William from Romford (01 August 2014)
Once there we were able to forget normal routine and relax. Deer strolled freely in park and right up to cottage. Plenty of time to walk around large peaceful park and weather was really good whch certainly helped. Crouch (13 June 2014)
We loved our stay in deer park cottage. Location is fantastic. Can't wait to return for another stress free break in norfolk. Lynette from Sutton (16 May 2014)
If you want a relaxing quiet peacefull holiday set in 1700+ acres of private land with wild deer roaming right up to your lodge but within hour and half's driving of most places in norfolk then book this holiday.Kit and Sally are lovely people.. the lodge is all on one level and the facilities are good, when we arrived we opened the door to find fresh milk, bottle of apple juice in the fridge with sugar tea coffee etc... which was much apreciated after our long drive up from Portsmouth area. No problem bringing our small dog, Norfolk very dog friendly and he loved being able to go for long walks in the private grounds and the deer didnt worry him or the sheep or the goats. We will definitely be booking again but for a longer spell this time. Mr A from Gosport (05 July 2011)
A beautiful location for a peaceful retreat. Lovely log fire and deer literally on the doorstep! Miss D from Leamington Spa (03 April 2011)
A beautiful Estate, great views and seeing the deer up close was very special. The cottage was cosy even in mid February. Would recommend highly. Miss C from Leeds (22 February 2011)
Idyllic, peaceful location. Spacious & comfortable cottage. Within easy reach of the coast, NT properties and Restaurants. Mr A from Southwell (06 July 2010)
The location was absolutely beautiful. It is what this holiday was all about. The amount of care that has gone into restoring the deer park to what it is today is almost unbelievable. A wonderful quiet relaxing holiday. Mr W from Warwick (21 June 2010)
A cosy cottage in a perfect location fantastic for walking with deer right on your doorstep. We were the only couple exploring this perfect landscape. Need I say more. Mr T from Benfleet (01 April 2010)

Perfect peaceful weekend. Great location and lovely wildlife coming to the back door. Ideal cottage if all you want to do is get cozy in front of the log fire. A must. Mr B from Cupar (24 November 2008)
A very quiet location which is only 1/2 mile from the nearest main road - wonderful! Mr C from Matlock (23 May 2008)
This cottage is the ideal 'chill out' place, ideal for anyone who just needs to switch off and completely unwind. The setting is so tranquil and the cottage is extremely comfortable, especially with a roaring log fire to sit by and the owners are lovely people who couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. All in all it was exactly what I thought it would be - a totally relaxing break that gave myself and my husband a wonderful chance to relax and recharge our batteries. No noise, no clubs just wonderful scenery and some terrific wildlife right outside the doors! Mrs W from London (14 April 2008)
A lovely little cottage set in the middle of a Deer Park - great for getting away from it all. Lots of lovely walks on your doorstep and the seaside resorts is only a short drive away - and it was dog friendly which was a must have when we were looking for our holiday! Ms M from Brighton (24 March 2008)
The deer park is amazing, the wildlife markes it well worth going! Miss P from Ipswich (25 February 2008)
Five stars from me! Mr A from York (19 November 2007)
I would definitely recommend The Deer Park if you are looking for a relaxing holiday, with a nice log fire. It was a very good experience! Mr C from Aylesford (05 November 2007)
Gunton Park is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature from three types of deer, friendly dogs, egyptian geese, curious sheep and of course very friendly humans. Having neven been to North Norfolk before we found the countryside, roads, beaches and shops very uncrowded. We look forward to visiting North Norfolk again in the near future and would recommend Gunton Park to those who wish to enjoy the countryside and the need to 'chill' ! Mr C from Grays (11 May 2007)
