Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean, possessing a wild
and spectacular rocky interior and coastline. To the south of the island sits
Cagliari, the capital, which boasts an interesting medieval quarter, port
and a beautiful beach. With its wonderful waters and white sandy beaches
there’s no surprise that Sardinia has often been compared to a tropical island.
