Haven Europe La Grande Metairie is an attractive wooded parc in a glorious setting. There is plenty to keep you occupied with all sorts of sports available to try. The pool complex is superb with a fabulous water park complementing the main pool area, which is backed by lovely old Breton buildings. Children love the 4-lane waterslide and chute.
Evening entertainment organised throughout the week is centred around the amphitheatre, situated behind the superb bar area and ranges from barbecues to folk music. La Grande Metairie is a great place for young children to play and they can sometimes join in with feeding the farm animals on site.
The parc is situated only 200 yards from the famous prehistoric standing stones of Carnac which are an incredible site of over 1,000 stones. They are said to date from around 3000 BC. No wonder this area of Brittany is alive with folklore and legend.
