Nice place .little tired and need a deep clean ie windows and frames as filthy when opened.cooker needs replaced . Steven from High Wycombe (20 August 2016)
A wonderful holiday stay with good equipment and perfect location. Dont bother with the cock inn (local pub), better to go to the heron, if you like local pubs. Beautiful walks and wonderful owner very kind and caring. Thanks a lot. Marcus from London (06 August 2016)
Overall, the lodge is ideal for a quiet get away. it is more suited to a family as there are plenty of things to do both if it is sunny (trampoline, swing and tree house) or if it is raining (games and toys). it is very quiet as it is well away from any roads. there is plenty of space within the lodge for the children to play (out of the way). the facilities within the lodge for day to day living are good. some of parts of the lodge are a little bit tired and need some work/replacement. would I recommend it - yes. would I consider going back again - yes. Michael from Selby. North Yorkshire (29 July 2016)
So peaceful and relaxing . the cottage has everything you need . lovely walks by the river Michelle from Ely Cambridgeshire (04 July 2016)
Nice cottage in good location, had great time at rspb reserves, and at kingslynn, easy to find and friendly welcome. Robert from Birmingham (26 March 2016)
Lodge situated in a central location, felt at home on arrival and had basics there for us, ie tea, milk and biscuits, would recommend to family and friends. Maureen from Chatham (28 September 2015)
On the plus side, very secluded if this is what you want. Ideal for a family with children, lots of toys, books etc, outside trampaline, swing etc. An extra box room with childs bed and travel cot not mentioned in information. Owner very helpful. On the minus side, the bunk beds and single bed may be ok for children but very uncomfortable for adults hence the low score for comfort. Oven very noisy. The outside could do with some tidying. Overal for the accommodation very good value for money. John from Braintree, Essex (11 September 2015)
Quiet and peaceful. The lodge is well equiped and comfortable. would definetely stay there again. Sue from Bristol (01 August 2015)
Quiet and peaceful. Accommodation roomy and comfortable. Nearby walking with plenty of wildlife. Outdoor swing, tree house and trampoline which was a big plus for the boys.centrally located and close to many local attractions. Judy from Kent (20 February 2015)
A really peaceful spot handy for various places great for bird watching or just a quiet retreat. Carol from Ulverston (07 February 2015)
A well equipped cottage in a very quiet location. Bill from Brisbane (27 September 2014)
Willow lodge provided us with comfortable, peaceful accommodation. I heard an owl one night! Richard from Larkfield (13 September 2014)
Lovely relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings. Lots to see and visits to make. Local pubs good for meals. Chris from Southampton (28 June 2014)
. the only thing that let the property down were the bed . arrangements, which are very much geared towards a young. family and not three adults. Otherwise property is in a quiet. location within easy drive of cambridge, lincoln & norwich. and many attractions. There is an abundance of local wildlife. for those that way inclined, as we are, and for those happy. with the basic necessities of life, rather than the luxury items,. again, as we are, I would heartily recommend giving it a go. Anthony from Epsom (14 June 2014)
Very friendly and helpful owner. Cottage comfortable if not a little difficult to get to because of long driveway leading up to it which could do with some repair. Woodburner very warming for the whole cottage and plenty of wood made available. An enjoyable experience overall. Andy from Southport (31 May 2014)
Comfortable and homely accommodation. Lovely setting and lots to entertain the kids outside. We were made very welcome. Jane from Brentwood, Essex (21 April 2014)
We found the track to the cottage could have been filled in as there were a lot of pot holes which made it very bumpy. It also made it impossible to go out at night as there were no lights. Also an egg slice would have been handy, but overall a lovely and quiet cottage and location Wendy from Plymouth (09 November 2013)
We loved the location - half way to meet up with friends for a few days. we took wood and lit the wood burner every evening - so warm we even opened the bedroom doors and warmed the bedrooms! we felt it was cosy, warm and spacious. We were greeted with flowers, biscuits and milk fridge. We visited castle acre and oxburgh hall. We would go for longer next time.. Pauline from Norwich (14 October 2013)
The vary first impression of our holiday cottage and the friendly welcome of the owner was very good. This holiday would have easily rated 7 or 8 out of 10 overall if it were not for the number of different insects that were found throughout the stay which was a huge shame.. Stan from London (17 August 2013)
We loved staying at the cottage. It was very comfortable with lots of things for the kids to do. Gethin from Bridgend (03 August 2013)
