Beautifully situated, cosy cottage in a friendly seaside town. Will happily stay again next year. everything we had hoped for.
Nina from Ely, Cambridgeshire (28 July 2017)

Excellent location , lovely cottage , a little bit dated but still generally good value for money , parking is a big issue none attached to cottage and hard to find parking .
Stephen from Lowestoft (14 July 2017)

A lovely cottage in a perfect location, the only issue is the lack of parking.
Sarah from Surrey (07 July 2017)

Smashing time we all loved it and we had the weather too. Holkham beach on a hot sunny day you could be in barbados. We'll be back.
Tim from Northamptonshire (01 June 2017)

Great holiday but shame no parking space
Hazel from Oxford (20 April 2017)

Great little cottage. Would recommend. The only thing to be aware of is the very steep stairs.
Martin from Stevenage (17 April 2017)

Nicely dressed accommodation, well equipped , felt like a home not a holiday let. Great views and cosy atmosphere. Would give eleven out of ten if it had its own off street parking but you can't have everything. Would certainly consider booking again.
Andrew from Great Ayton (14 April 2017)

Cottage is in a fantastic location, it is very clean and has everything needed for a great seaside holiday, however it is in need of some talc could do with decorating and few some kitchen bits need up grading but still worth a visit and we would stay here again
Trudi from Leigh-On-Sea (10 April 2017)

Lovely comfortable cottage in a great location,we had a great weekend and will definitely book again.
Ian from Leicester (13 February 2017)

We have stayed here twice now and we are staying here again soon! perfect for us and the dogs.
Lisa from Aylsham (28 December 2016)

Our second visit. Lovely cottage, great location, looks a little tired and needs decorating but don't let that out you off. It was clean and we had a fantastic weekend.
Renata from Derby (28 November 2016)

A delightful cottage in an excellent location. Wells has a great selection of useful individual shops, pubs and restaurants. These all walkable from two ways. We used it as a base for a bird watching holiday. Excellent birding at titchwell,. cley and blakeney. Also walking from the cottage several species see.
Lyn from Surrey (18 November 2016)

Another great stay thank you.
Sarah from Woodbridge (04 November 2016)

Lovely cottage, good location. parking serious problem, the alternative parking space suggested is always full. If the dates had been earlier the situation would have been impossible.
Confirmed Guest (07 October 2016)

Second stay at the cottage, excellent location and ideal for short breaks on the north norfolk coast. Local walks for our dog either along the coast or to the river mouth. The golden fleece and the globe are dog friendly pubs with good food. french's does excellent fish and chips. We would stay again.
John from Ipswich (30 September 2016)

Delightful little cottage in a perfect location. very steep stairs which wasn't an issue for us but could be for very small children or the elderly/less able guest. parking very limited. There are only about 8 spaces. We had lovely weather so parked in the one space available and left the car there all weekend, so again wasn't an issue for us. overall, we enjoyed a fabulous weekend in a beautiful little cottage.
Confirmed Guest (26 September 2016)

The cottage is in a great location, unfortunately it is a bit tired with the decorating and had a strong smell from the sink which we had to cover the cupboard under the sink with a towel, this was rather off putting. The shower is a bit of a let down.
Confirmed Guest (09 September 2016)

Lovely little cottage with great views out over the marshes. could do with a lick of paint here and there. fantastic central location but parking could be an issue if you don't manage to bag a space in nearby jolly sailor's yard. lack of garden compensated by excellent walks nearby. would recommend.
Goulds from Suffolk (29 July 2016)

Lovely cosy cottage. Great position. Only downside is lack of permanent parking space but this manageable with bit of juggling. Wells itself brilliant little family resort with still a taste of a fishing village. Cottage stairs are steep so would advise stair gate required for toddlers . otherwise would recommend to all but v old and infirm.
Phil from Guiseley (27 June 2016)

Yes
Confirmed Guest (24 June 2016)

Great location. Lots to do in wells. Quaint cottage with good equipment. Stairs make this place unsuitable for those with walking issues or small children.
Confirmed Guest from Lots To Do In Wells. (03 June 2016)

Two ways is a quaint little cottage on the quay at wells, nice a quiet and ideally situated to walk around the town and local area. We were warned about the steps stairs but found them ok, they are steep but with care should be no problem if you use the handrail. lovely views over the river from the front bedroom. . . we will be going back soon.
John from Holbrook, Ipswich (29 April 2016)

Enjoyed our stay..however the staircase is very steep and lacks an adequate handrail on the right hand side to make descending safer. Might be worth pointing out to future guests as it would be extremely difficult for elderly/disabled guests. Otherwise all good.
Susan from Canterbury (04 March 2016)

A stone's throw from the harbour, the cottage was perfect for us and our two dogs. we had intended to be out every night, but it was so comfortable, we only went out once! the safety issue of the steep stairs was clearly flagged up so we knew what to expect.
Sarah from Woodbridge (26 February 2016)

Really pretty little cottage close to the harbour at wells. Nicely equipped and warm, with pretty much everything you need for a short break including a small selection of books, games and dvds. The location is what really makes it - we parked the car nearby and just walked everywhere. Living room is pretty small but fine for me, my daughter and the dog. A few minor things - living space felt a bit dusty and it needs a new dvd player - but otherwise an excellent bolt hole.
Alison from Cambridge (22 February 2016)

The cottage doesn't have it's own parking and this can be a problem especially in the busier months, which makes it difficult to unload a car near the property as the road is busy, and also difficult to find another parking space once you have removed your car for days out etc. Property needs a bit of a makeover with paintwork etc., back door doesn't close very well property generally clean. Stairs leading from the lounge to the bedroom - very steep and great care is needed when coming down them. . brochure instructions need changing, states property key located in bin storage no 1 when after searching for approximately half an hour, the key was located in bin storage no 5 -this was reported to the cottage company we booked with at the time of arrival.
Keith from Leicester (08 February 2016)

Fantastic break away. Cottage was perfect in a lovely location.
Georgina from Colchester (05 February 2016)

Lovely time here again in wells.cottage very clean and comfortable, we all had a great time
Confirmed Guest (18 January 2016)

What a gorgeous little cottage in a perfect location. We were a family of four with dog.. absolutely perfect.
Rachel from Stevenage (03 January 2016)

An excellent quaint cottage by the quayside, very comfortable and warm. Very clean, tidy and well equipped and very warm with underfloor heating.
Gary from St.Ives (07 December 2015)

A lovely cottage and very cosy! excellent location and lovely caretaker! would definitely stay again!
Colleen from Nottinghamshire (30 October 2015)

The position of the cottage is very good. . the problem with parking is a big turn off. The safety of the stairs is very bad. the rail on the left side going up was unattached. Very dangerous. One of the windows in the kitchen would not stay closed. . I think ,in general, the cottage is overpriced.
Alec from Newark (06 July 2015)

Excellent location ideal for visiting the surrounding area, lovely walks for the dog on your doorstep. Property is looking a little tired but as we only used it to sleep it didnt cause an issue. The only negative if you are not very mobile the stairs are a little tricky to navigate!!
Alan from Hitchin (08 June 2015)

We loved every minute. Minor quibble over parking as nearby building works to pub added to congestion and hard to find anywhere near to park. This was compensated by the beautiful cottage, charming bedrooms and lovely kitchen. Had the most amazing time sharing nearby beaches with nine month old grandson. The local 'caretaker' was brilliant too. A thoroughly happy holiday!
Penny from Ironbridge (29 May 2015)

Excellent location. we have a dog so it was ideal for the walk to stiffkey and also the walk to the beach and holkham. just what we needed. we would definitely stay there again.
Lisa from Hull (22 May 2015)

Two ways is beautiful, cosy and comfortable and in the perfect location for exploring wells!
Nicky from Hertfordshire (10 April 2015)

Very much improved since we last stayed at two ways in 2005
Customer 37 (20 March 2015)

We found two ways to be warm and welcoming. It was so well equipped, we cannot think of anything that was missing. It was pleasing to find good quality crockery and cutlery and the whole cottage had been well thought out, and very comfortable. We had no problem parking, as this was 'out of season', but I can imagine that it may be a problem in the height of the season. We would certainly stay again and would recommend two ways to our friends and family.
Ray from Northampton (06 March 2015)

Lovely cottage, well equipped, good location.
Confirmed Guest from Mansfield (09 February 2015)

A beautiful cosy cottage in a great location. Close to everything you could need for a relaxing break.
Katie from Market Harborough (04 January 2015)

Nice cottage in good location, easy to walk to pubs and restaurants. We found the under floor heating in lounge hard to turn down, it got too hot in the evenings and our dogs did not like it. We did enjoy our christmas week here and a 50th birthday. A dog gate at the bottom of the stairs would be good. Thanks for the little christmas tree, we hope to return one day.
Sharon from Oxfordshire (28 December 2014)

Great location within walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Well appointed cottage with all mod cons. Very comfortable!
Lisa from Watford (01 December 2014)

Some minor decorating needed but generally a nice cottage.
Helen from Port Talbot (27 November 2014)

We had a wonderful stay it was just what we needed after a grotty few months. Thank you so so much.
Molly from Southwold (17 November 2014)

We have just returned from a lovely weekend staying in two ways and we had the best time!. . the cottage is truly lovely, really nicely decorated throughout and deceptively bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside! the underfloor heating throughout the cottage is a dream, loved by us and the dog – such a treat to put warm wellies on! the location is ideal; turn left and you end up on the harbour and in walking distance of all the shops/beach, turn right and you can go on great walks and soak up the views. . . the house is well equipped (though I must admit we didn't cook much!), and though we felt a little dubious about our trip having read some of the previous negative reviews, we can safely say that the owners have addressed everything – not a dead bulb in sight, clean and maybe even new bedlinen, and firewood supplied with even a fire made up within the woodburner ready to go! we had no problem with the kettle either – a really good sign of dedicated owners who listen to their visitors. . . our only negative comments are that the wheelie bin was overflowing when we arrived, so was even more so when we left and we couldn't find any information on when bin day was, and the information folder was quite out of date, referencing the november 2011 digital switchover and stating their is no wifi, when there is! I just think they're doing themselves a disservice by not updating it. . . i'm looking forward to booking a repeat stay as soon as possible!
Nicky from Norwich (03 November 2014)

Certain things seem to have been ignored for some time according to the remarks made in the visitor book== . no lights in the lounge area. Some lights in main bedroom . faulty kettle. Dirty stair carpet
Green from Somerset (17 October 2014)

Whilst the cottage itself was very nice with a perfect location there were a few issues that needed addressing:. - there were a number of light bulbs in both ceiling surface mounted and standard lamps that were not working. - the kettle lid could not be opened necessitating filling through the funnel and the level could not be determined. - the bed linen was 'fusty' suggesting that it was not completely dry when made. - there was evidence of the shower leaking due to a stained wall in the kitchen (directly below the bathroom) and on one occasion a small line of water was running down the wall. - the in-house information asked for fire wood used to be replaced; however, on arrival there was no firewood or kindling.
Mike from St Ives, Cambs (03 October 2014)

Had a great holiday and the cottage was perfect - very cosy.
Sophie from Cambridge (19 September 2014)

On arrival the dishwater was full of dishes; the dishes in the cupboard were dirty and needed washing the under floor heating could not be switched on even though there were some chilly evenings. A number bulbs had blown and were no replacements. The accommodation also came with its own resident mouse!
John from Maidenhead (12 September 2014)

On arrival we found damp towels and bedding, which did not smell fresh. Very dirty bin with no liner. No liner in bathroom bin. No toilet paper. Damp patches throughout. Dirty bathroom, bathroom and kitchen sink very dirty. Carpet not clean and not hovered. Walls dirty. Dishwasher not cleaning any dishes. Not working properly. Ended up hand washing dishes all week. No sheets on single bed. Dishes in the cupboards not clean. Chair covers did not fit the furniture and were grubby. Windows were dirty, only one tea towel supplied and half the bulbs in the kitchen were blown. Parking issue not very clear. Needs to be explained better rather than ending with confutation with neighbours.
Brendan from Northampton (05 September 2014)

In the absence of mobile signal at the cottage, would it not be an idea to provide a land line? also somewhere to store beach paraphernalia, maybe an outside bench with storage under, as at present there is nowhere for all the sandy stuff! otherwise, it is a delightful property, in a lovely location.
Theresa from London (29 August 2014)

All good . the double bed in the main bedroom was uncomfortable and reading the guest book it sounds like other people thought so too. There is no internet connection but I think they are addressing that. The location was superb. It is a great cottage well fitted out and very relaxing and we appreciated that they took dogs and we were able to take ours.
Olwen from Coalville (15 August 2014)

Bit small for a family of 4, would suit a couple with a dog.
Steve from Lincoln (30 May 2014)

Cottage was very nice well equipped and clean the only down side was that I didn't think it was very dog friendly due to the laminate floor and underfloor heating as my dogs paws got quite warm and she was a bit stressed with the flooring she was sliding all over the place I would visit again but not with the dog!
Julia from Leicester (31 March 2014)

Positives: excellent well equipped cottage in a great location by the harbour. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Negatives: tv too small. Double bed too hard and a kindsize would be better. Recommended and we would stay here again.
David from Oxfordshire (22 March 2014)

Lovely location but bed very uncomfortable, tv too small and poor seating arrangement with one small sofa and two very uncomfortable chairs, would be far better getting rid of wooden chest and having two two seater sofas, some of the pans were dirty and had to be washed before use and we had to go out and buy a sieve for straining rice. Overall lovely little cottage in a great lacation that could be 10 out of 10 if the owners make a few changes, we had we book for 5 days but came back after only 3 beca use we just couldn't sleep in that very small and uncomfortable bed.
Dawn from Leicester (14 March 2014)

We absolutely loved our stay at two ways, we stayed in march. The cottage was very comfortable and even better we could take our 2 dogs. The views from the cottage and proximity to town were great. We managed to park on the quay side which was very convenient and free! the cottage itself was very well equipped and the perfect place for a seaside get away.
Jodie from Wethersfield (10 March 2014)

We had a great weekend at two ways cottage. Very close to shops and harbor, with lots of nice walks close by. Found cottage well equipped clean and had a nice cozy feel to it, wood burner was lovely, but considering the low cost of the logs it seemed a bit penny pinching not to leave enough for a fire on the first night, bags of logs available from hardware shop on road into cottage when it opened in the morning. All in all though a very nice cottage.
Treacy from Rugby (24 February 2014)

Fabulous location for a relaxing half-term break. We enjoyed the cottage and found it cosy and well equipped. Fabulous few days
Paula from Notwich (21 February 2014)

Great location for walks on coast. Lovely high street with local shops catering for every need. We were there in january so half of the local eateries were closed. Those that were open were fine. . cottage mostly good. Front door was draughty. Steep stairs ok going up but I would have like a grab rail of some sort at the top.
Gail from London (14 January 2014)

A lovely 'cosy' cottage in a brilliant location
Sharon from London (30 December 2013)

Lovely cottage ideally placed for walking to town, the salt marshes or a longer walk to the sea front. A little expensive as we chose to stay at christmas and all we got extra was a little tree but I guess all owners are different. Clean, warm and all the equipment that you need other than a glove for using the wood burner. Cottage information folder hadn't been updated for a few years.
Confirmed Purchaser (27 December 2013)

Dogs were allowed in this cottage and it was still to a great standard, the cottage was well positioned to take advanced of the beautiful scenery and we had a good few days walking our dog in the lovely countryside and beach.
Confirmed Purchaser (08 November 2013)

Lovely location and such a cosy cottage. Really nicely done. Thanks for a lovely week!
Kelly from Letchworth (01 November 2013)

Was all it promised to be. The stairs would be a challenge to a person with any level of disability.
Confirmed Purchaser (25 October 2013)

Brilliant cottage. Good location.
Liz from Maidstone (18 October 2013)

Lovely cosy cottage situated in a fantastic location. Ideal for all year round holidays.
Mark from Devizes (11 October 2013)

In excellent location with great view from front windows of wells harbour. well equipped with comfortable double bed. Would definitely stay here again.
Patricia from Nottingham (06 September 2013)

Fantastic holiday but parking a bit of a nightmare. I did find that I could pay for a weeks parking in the council car park at the other side of the town centre for £27.50 for the week but only discovered that once I had paid £5 for first 24 hours. this information would have been useful beforehand.
Liz from Huddersfield (16 August 2013)

Lovely cottage - rather expensive!
Confirmed Purchaser (26 Jul 2013)

Location was wonderful, very comfortable bedrooms and lovely bathroom. Could watch glastonbury on the tv (very happy) and there was ice pre frozen in the freezer on arrival.
Rachel from London (01 Jul 2013)

Great harbor views
Mark from Iow (10 May 2013)

Great location. Nice and warm
Confirmed Purchaser from Leicester (01 April 2013)

Dog friendly
Helen from Nottingham (22 March 2013)

Very well equipped, and spotlessly clean. Ideally situated for the quayside and local shops, pubs etc. Felt like a 'home'. lovely bedroom with a super view.
Lin from Pontllanfraith (08 March 2013)

Lovely kitchen and bedrooms. Excellent position.
Nicola from Great Dunmow (01 March 2013)

Brilliant location right near the quay and no problem parking out of season. Cottage is cosy and warm and kitchen well equipped. Bed in main bedroom very comfy. Very close to town for shopping, pubs and fish and chip shops. Great place to start walks from and out of season very little traffic on the road outside.
Sue from Ipswich (18 February 2013)

Great cosy cottage with good kitchen, great wood burner and cosy underfloor heating - location could not be better as right on east quay a short walk to the best fish & chips and to some great pubs in the town or a lovely stroll to the beach. Good base for exploring the north norfolk coast - holkham, burnham market etc.
Colin from London (12 November 2012)

Cosy,homely,small but perfectly formed.
Confirmed Purchaser (02 November 2012)

Close to sea ,shops and restaurants!nice and warm
Val from Swindon (12 October 2012)

It's a great cottage in terms of location and equipment, size is small but fine for the number of people it caters for, it is lovely.
Toni from Black Notley (21 September 2012)

Fantastic location, situated right on the harbour. .
Anne from Lincolnshire (23 July 2012)

Value for money and well located.
Customer 83 (July 2012)

Small but perfectly formed and providing everything we needed for a really enjoyable & relaxing few days.
Customer 84 (April 2012)

A lovely cosy cottage, with everything you need for a small family. A great location, close to the very centre of the town, the harbour, shops, pub and take-always. Underfloor heating took some getting used too, but wood burner was lovely feature.
Customer 85 (March 2012)

If you love Wells or Norfolk you will love Two Ways. The first thing I did each morning was check whether the tide was in or out. Lighting the log burner after a good walk with the dog was the afternoon highlight as I’d settle down to a book and a glass of wine beside it. Two Ways is a lovely escape.
Customer 86 (January 2012)

Very good Christmas here - with kitchen with every facility and the logburning stove.
Customer 87 (December 2011)

As we had two dogs we were concerned how we would cope without a garden - but we shouldn’t have worried. There was a gravel area immediately outside which was useful and to the right of the cottage, a short walk away was the coastal path which the dogs were free to run along. We really miss those morning and evening walks!
Customer 88 (August 2011)

Lovely cottage and very convenient. Walk straight out onto East Quay and onto the coast path, so once car is parked no need to move it at all during your stay.
Customer 89 (July 2011)

This is a very nice cottage in a conveniant location. We would book it again.
Customer 90 (June 2011)
