What a lovely country cottage! we thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfy and linen very clean, great facilities and a beautiful garden. No disturbing noises from the road. Not in walking distance to anywhere so a car is nessacery. Thank you very much for a lovely few days! Harriet from West Sussex (04 August 2017)
Beautiful cottage with a lovely garden. Perfect location for the purpose of our visit to kings lynn. Only downside was a couple of big lorries rumbling past very early on the saturday morning but not enough to keep us awake and a slightly musty smell in the lounge. Would stay at this cottage again. Arlette from Southampton (09 July 2017)
Great cottage ,well equipped and very comfortable. Flora from Glasgowt (17 April 2017)
Fantastic holiday, house was spotlessly clean, some people moaned about the large lorries going past the house but to be honest it's really not that bad and it wasn't all the time. The cottage was updated enough to maintain its character. Just lovely :-) Caroline from Blackridge, Scotland (05 November 2016)
It took 10 minutes to get the back door open because the lock was badly worn, told the owner but she wasn't interested, not a good start. When we did eventually get in we were hit with a very old and musty smell, stale pot pourri !! the carpets were filthy, hadn't been cleaned for years. Carpet in the toilet and bathroom a big no no. The bedroom curtains were so thin we were woken at 5 am every morning by bright sunlight, needs some decent thicker ones. Also, large tipper lorries thundering past all day going to the local quarry, the whole house shook every time they went past. Bill from North London (27 August 2016)
The cottage needed a lot of cleaning when we first arrived. Lots of cobwebs and the kitchen was not the cleanest. The garden is nice but not dog proof so we had to keep him on a lead. Very noisy road. Bathroom needs updating. Steve from Haywards Heath (20 August 2016)
It was beautifully appointed, clean with every consideration given to our comfort and needs. . . in fact it felt like we were staying at a friends house so comfortable did we feel. . thoroughly reccomend for a base for exploring north norfolk Susan from Dorset (30 April 2016)
We had a fantastic break over easter! lovely place and owner very nice to deal with. Would highly recommend!! would love to stay again! Angela from Burgess Hill (28 March 2016)
The cottage was very well equipped, did not feel like a holiday let as the quality of fixtures and fittings were of a very high standard. Very well maintained and spotlessly clean. We were surprised however by the amount of passing traffic some of which were large lorries. Chris from Enfield (09 October 2015)
This is a lovely charming cottage with great views in the garden. the bathroom is down stairs and off the kitchen and does not have a toilet upstairs. everything is lovely and clean though and everything you could think of. . . great location for visiting kings lynn 8 minutes away, hunstanton beach 35 minutes and holkham bay 55 minutes away. its not suitable if you like walking places from your location as its on a main through road with no area to walk either side of the cottage. whilst the local pub is not that far a way, you cannot walk to it due to the access road. you really do have to drive everywhere. that being said I would stay there again. . the cottage also has wifi, even though it does not state it in the details, so an added bonus. Carol from Hertfordshire (29 August 2015)
Cottage clean and comfortable, a real home from home. lovely back garden with great views, excellent facilities. Owner very helpful - the cottage could not be faulted. However, the location near to a quarry resulted in a constant stream of noisy tipper lorries from 6:15 am monday to friday meaning that we could not sleep after this time. The lorries literally shook the house - an absolute shame as the cottage was wonderful. Kevin from Romford (08 November 2014)
A warm & cosy, clean & comfortable cottage. very well equipped with large garden & plenty of parking space for 2 cars. we spent autumn half term here with son, daughter-in-law plus two grandchildren and found there was plenty of space for us all. spotting a muntjac deer at the bottom of the garden on the first day sparked an interest in the grandchildren which led to an enjoyable 'deer safari' at snettisham park where the children were able to learn about a variety of animals & feed the deer. the cottage has wifi which is not mentioned in the write up but was a bonus. the road outside was sometimes busy but this did not detract from the peaceful and welcoming atmosphere of the cottage itself. a lovely family week with gorgeous sunny weather! Sarah from Cambridgeshire (01 November 2014)
It was a lovely warm, friendly cottage. Everything we wanted, except the weather. It would have been nice if there had been a gate but it wasn't a problem. Carol from Selsdon (13 October 2014)
An ideal location for touring norfolk, the cottage was clean, well equipped with ample parking space. Pauline from Rugby (15 September 2014)
The cottage is lovely, plenty of equipment and in a lovely setting. The kitchen and bathroom are modern, but I do think the sitting room needs updating. The house does have a 50s/60s feel because of the type of furniture and the bedding. I feel new modern duvet covers and modern sofa/chairs would enhance the sitting room and bedrooms. The quarry lorries that pass the house early in the morning are quite intrusive. This is purely a personal view and we did enjoy our stay. Patricia from Yeovil (13 September 2014)
Lovely cottage - in a quiet village but on a busy road due to traffic from the quarry a limitless further down. Large garden which was great for walking the dogs. Has everything you could possibly want and a constant stream of hot water on tap was lovely. Perfect location to explore north norfolk. Massingham from Milton Keynes (30 August 2014)
Very well equipped. Good location. Lovely big garden for the children to play in with views across open fields. Andrea from Wigan (02 June 2014)
Very nice and well presented, also very clean, it comes well recommended from us. Sandra from Romford Essex (31 May 2014)
This cottage is even lovelier than its photograph. the accommodation offered was excellent, really comfortable and very spacious. it is very well appointed and has everything you need and the quality is extremely good. it is very attractive inside and out, the gardens are lovely. we felt very much at home and would love to go back. it is very close to kings lynn for shopping and the coast and local attractions are within easy reach. the beaches are fabulous and our two border collies had lots of fun racing along the flat beaches. It was our first visit to norfolk and will not be our last, hopefully a return to I tower end cottages too. Valerie from Crewe (24 August 2013)
Very well equipped. Comfortable. quite spacious. Pam from Beckenham (24 Jun 2013)
A lovely clean cottage, however bathroom is located downstairs which makes night visits a little awkward! A lovely garden for the children to play and run around. Not many footpaths around the property for walking on. You also need to go through the living room from the kitchen to eat in the dining room. Lovely neighbours! Customer 21 (June 2012)
Rural accommodation. Car essential. Good location for touring East Anglia. Customer 22 (June 2012)
A really lovely cottage. Very clean and well equipped kitchen, the neighbours were very helpful and friendly. Customer 23 (August 2011)
A really pleasant cottage. Lots of equipment available, and we really appreciated the use of condiments etc, which were kindly left in the cottage. The garden was excellent, and the children and our labrador thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Customer 24 (August 2011)
Cottage surprisingly comfortable. Very impressed with accessories and equipment available especially in kitchen! Customer 25 (July 2011)
