Spacious, clean and very well equipped. Judith from Durham City (05 October 2012)
Very spacious and well appointed. Good location. Good village amenities especially leisure centre at the back should make more noise about it Jerry from Ashwellthorpe (28 September 2012)
The cottage had all equipment necessary and was very comfortable. It was in a good location for exploring that part of scotland.we had a lovely week but doubt if we would stay at toad hall. Lorna from Edinburgh (20 July 2012)
Within a few minutes walk of the town centre which has a varied choice of shops and attractive places for coffee. Near the Birks for easy or strenuous climbs, right easy and left hard work. Excellent bowling green (very important to us) and well cared for golf course. We visited the very interesting Crannog at Loch Tay, admired the oldest yew tree in Europe at Fortingall and enjoyed a matinee show at Pitlochry. Large choice of walks in the area. Hard to beat. Customer 6 (September 2011)
Accommodation was clean, warm and comfortable with every facility we could have required. Customer 7 (September 2010)
A real home from home, we wanted for nothing even down to spices in the kitchen. Very well equipped cottage. Customer 8 (October 2009)
Fantastic base for touring the area but also we didn’t have to drive if we didn’t want to as there are shops/cafes providing all the basics within walking distance. . Overall quality of accommodation - clean, well furnished and equipped. Excellent location. Customer 9 (July 2009)
Central location. Good parking. House was very well equipped - even included picnic boxes, cups etc. Customer 10 (July 2009)
One of the best places we have ever stayed. Home from home - everything we needed was there even Loo rolls! Really clean and well decorated threw out. Nice touch was whisky and shortbread from the owner when we arrived. Customer 11 (October 2008)
The owner welcomed us and the extra touches in the property made it a real home from home. Shortbread and whiskey on arrival on cold autumnal day was most welcome, thanks. Customer 12 (October 2008)
