This was our second stay at this cottage and we will definately be booking again next year. The location was ideal for us as it was only a few minutes walk to the town centre and the. Local attractions.plenty of places to eat in cromer and good transport links for visiting other parts of the norfolk coast. Colin from March,Cambs (30 September 2016)
Had a great time!. lovely place in fabulous cromer really close to the centre . Lindsey from Nottingham (02 September 2016)
A lovely cottage ideally situated close to the town centre. Lots of cooking equipment to enable you to eat well without going out. If you do go out the redlion is recommended. Nice patio area at the back. The main bed is a double but not a kingsize. The other room has two comfy singles. . a lovely place. Chris from Warrington (26 August 2016)
Excellently situated close to the town centre with private parking. Cottage is very well equipped and only lacks internet connection. This was our second visit and will not be our last as it ticks all our boxes. David from Ramsey (01 July 2016)
A very nice cottage, which is just a short walk from cromer town centre and the pier. comfortable, clean and well equipped inside and a nice decked area outside for when the sun is shining. easy parking. quiet. would certainly stay again. Rob from Chelmsford, Essex (08 April 2016)
Very well equipped kitchen absolutely everything you could want or need. Comfortably seats 4 people. Lovely south facing garden. Only thing I felt it was lacking if it was very cold a hot water bottle would be welcome! overall extremely well located in a private courtyard. Lesley from Birmingham (25 March 2016)
Yes it was comfortable warm we live in cromer so was more of a stop gap more than holiday but on the whole was nice . Paul from Cromer (18 March 2016)
We had a great time in this lovely cottage . it is well located and cromer town is a few minutes walk away .the decor of the cottage is a charming seaside theme. It is has a well equipped kitchen . the sheets and duvet were snug and warm . there is no wi fi as it is a listed building but this is pointed out before you book . we went in the cold spell in january and as it is an old building it took along time to warm up . in all its a great cottage and we loved it !! Alastair from Bedford (22 January 2016)
Great location, well decorated, comfortable, and clean. Nice sofas, good size tv, and dvd, which worked well, there were also loads of dvd's. One of the best kitchen areas we have seen, very well equipped, with plenty of cutlery, crockery, glasses, and decent size pots and pans, everything we needed, as we love to cook. Fridge is a bit unstable though when the door is open, and icebox door was broken, so we coudn't use the icebox. Bathroom and large shower excellent. Double bed rather small, and pillows not very comfortable. We didn't really have to use the heating, but it works well. The outside raised area was excellent. overall the cottage was charming and living areas spacious. We had a wonderful holiday, and would love to return, to stay in the cottage again. John from Edgware (23 October 2015)
Excellent location, very near to beach yet totally peaceful with a great private sitting out area. quiet and comfortable. well planned accommodation, needs some wall hooks and hangers for the bedrooms as not much hanging or drawer space. nice to have welcome pack including tea, coffee, biscuits, washing up liquid, tea cloths etc. Kim from Barnsley (11 September 2015)
The old stable is in a quiet and pretty location, close enough to the seafront and pier to pop back for lunch during a day on the beach. It was spacious enough for our party of two adults and two children. We would recommend it. Emma from Coleshill (28 August 2015)
A beautiful, comfortable property in a great location for all the amenities of cromer. The well maintained outside terrace was the highlight of our stay. . . we were pleased to receive a call from the property maintenance company who offered to prepare the cottage earlier than the usual check in time of 3pm as they had been made aware we had young children. The milk left in the fridge was a thoughtful touch too. . the only minor complaint was the cottage would have benefited from a more thorough clean - the bathroom in particular is starting to look a little tired. James from Marple, Stockport (21 August 2015)
The cottage was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our week in cromer. Stephen from Silsoe, Bedfordshire (24 July 2015)
Cromer in norfolk is a great holiday destination with plenty to do and see and the accommodation was really nice. the cottage was well placed in a quiet and residential leafy complex with a short walk (5 to 10 minutes) to the beach. well equipped, nicely decorated and very comfortable with a lovely high ceiling on the ground floor, and a small garden area to sit in. The only criticism is that the wardrobe was too small for the bedroom, there was a lack of clothing storage space in the main bedroom for two adults staying for a week. the wc in the bathroom was continuously flushing and had to be adjusted by us. However, it was a great holiday, and we will be returning. Thank you. Mr and mrs bryer. Bb from London (17 July 2015)
The old stable is a beautiful cottage situated in a very quiet area yet very close to cromer centre and beach. Having stayed just outside cromer for many years, it was great to be able to walk to some of our favourite places. The property is clean, comfortable and well appointed. We have already booked it again for next year. Patricia from Walsall (26 June 2015)
Brilliant cosy little cottage in a quiet, private area, but only four or five minutes walk from cromer town centre with all its amenities. we loved it and hope to be back next year. Jean from Durham (19 June 2015)
A brilliant location within cromer. Woke up to birds singing and very little traffic. Great to have a parking space. Lack of wi-fi was no problem for me as I was on holiday (and there was a huge selection of dvds to choose from! found the cupboard of books (by the door) towards the end of our stay and donated the book i'd brought and finished. . my only ever so slightly negative comment would be to amend the directions to the cottage slightly as we carried on down colne road (missing the turning) rather than turning left into colne road then immediately left again into the un-named lane. . the decked are at the back was a lovely sun trap and very private as I don't think the neighbours were there the week we were. Jan from Northampton (12 June 2015)
Perfectly located, very well appointed and maintained. In a very quiet neighborhood, but an easy walk to everywhere in town. Having a designated parking spot is a plus. Our only comment (and it's very minor) is that it would be nice to have had a larger refrigerator and a dishwasher. Ken from Santa Fe, New Mexico (08 May 2015)
Had a nice stay central for town center quite area short walk to pier and shops Brenda from Hinckley Leicestershire (27 March 2015)
We loved the old stable for its quiet setting and spaciousness. Couldn't quite understand the thermostat for the heating at times as the brochure for it didn't make much sense but overall the cottage was very comfortable and peaceful. Claire from New Barnet (28 December 2014)
Overall this was a good property the only observation we would make is the lack of draw space in the bedrooms. We would suggest perhaps that a chest of draws could be added. Allen from Basildon (17 October 2014)
Excellent only thing is the bed is rock hard otherwise it would have been 10/10 Customer 27 from Warwick (10 October 2014)
During our stay the heating was not working properly - fortunately the weather was not too cold. We have stayed before and there was no problem, so it will probably be ok in the future. Mike from Nottingham (03 October 2014)
Really well fitted out, location was ideal, comfort only suggestion was re the matress on bouble bed needed replacing. Venetion blind in bathroom not working, needs replacing, apart from these minor points the overall holiday experience was great. We would recommend this property. Andrew from Markfield (12 September 2014)
The old stable in cromer is a lovely cottage within easy walking distance of cromer town centre and the sea front. the property is well equipped and decorated to a high standard, with free parking and a private gated footpath into town. Nicki from Shropshire (22 August 2014)
Beautiful cottage! perfect location! would definitely stay again! a little concerned that the beautiful low level sash windows upstairs had no child locks on them. They opened at a very low level for children. I am surprised this hasn't already been addressed. Something for the owners/rental company to consider. Debbie from Lincoln (01 August 2014)
One change I think should be made in the description is that the fridge/feezer is only a small freezing box inside the top of the fridge. we didn't know this and fortunately didn't buy much to put in the freezer until I had first seen the size of it. in fact the door wouldn't shut on the freezer box because it needed defrosting, so before we did anything I had to get down on my hands and knees and clear the ice away so I could (a) get the of the freezer box door shut and (b) make space to put my three items which filled it. I think the term fridge/freezer is very misleading as all other properties we have stayed would have had a drawer size freezer at the bottom of the fridge if it was described like this. Apart from this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go again. Sue from Surrey (20 June 2014)
Great house in the centre of cromer, but away from the throng and very quiet. . . the garden was really nice in the sun Martin from Kibworth (06 June 2014)
Lovely cottage in a lovely location - very handy for the centre and sea front whilst remaining quiet and peaceful. Lower scores are only because we found the double bed uncomfortable (singles were fine) and because it wasn't exactly cheap - though where is at half term? would happily stay there again. Jenny from St Albans (30 May 2014)
Lovely cottage and very convenient for the town and the sea front and for walking around. really quiet too and with good parking. Would definately stay again. would like a bread bin (but v minor point) although it sleeps 4 it's perhaps best for couples or people with children as there is only the 1 bathroom. Wifi would be nice but the library is nearby and computer access is free. Kathleen from Market Bosworth (16 May 2014)
We have stayed here twice now and have already booked for two more visits - that says it all. Michael from Nottingham (02 May 2014)
It was lovely, well presented and very quiet. Ella-Jane from Coleshill (04 April 2014)
Perfect place to stay. Extremely quiet, a 5 minute walk from the beach. Very safe, with copious smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms. . the only improvement I could suggest was to put in some sort of internet connection/wifi, as a freelance writer it was frustrating not having access to the web while away. Leanne from Peterborough (28 March 2014)
Wonderfully close to the town centre but very quiet with no road noise. Well equiped kitchen (small fridge if you are looking to eat in). for a late autumn / winter break when you are more likely to be be indoors in an evening, a small upgrade on the freeview would be a bonus, but all in all a wonderful home away from home. Maggie from Retford (11 October 2013)
Very good layout downstairs with everything you could wish for. And so convenient for popping into cromer and the buses on which we use our bus passes. Even a large supermarket is within walking distance. Liz from Boston,Lincs. (21 Jun 2013)
No faults found beautiful cottage David from Scvunthorpe (07 Jun 2013)
Charming property in a great location. Well equipped kitchen. Customer 42 from Fleet (27 May 2013)
Nice location very central very well equipped Simon from Leicester (17 May 2013)
Perfect location, cottage lovely and peaceful. Collette from Lowestoft (10 May 2013)
The location of the property is perfect for exploring cromer. Kitchen was superbly equipped, and house reasonably furnished. We had a fantastic holiday with this house as our base. Vikki from Watford (05 April 2013)
Close to town centre and facilities. . well equipped. Lots of character. Easy parking. Jon from St.Ives (29 March 2013)
