We have recently returned from a wonderful 4 night break at the smithy. We had an extremely friendly welcome and the owner jayne was the perfect host, being on hand when needed but not intrusive at all. The cottage is very modern with furniture and fixtures of a very high quality. The steam room, with bluetooth, and the lovely hot tub and barbecue area were enjoyed each day. The area was very pituresque with lots of places to visit within a 30 minute drive. The only thing I would say is that although the description describes the cottage as rural it is actually on a main road. This wasn't a problem as you couldn't really hear the road and the courtyard area was at the back of the property but we were expecting a more rural location. Daniel (28 July 2017)
Fabulous stay and the family were so welcoming and allowed us to feed the animals. Really superb weekend. Confirmed Guest (23 July 2017)
Such a lovely place! cosy and relaxing. Great hosts, would definately go back again. Natalie from Hemel Hempstead (16 July 2017)
Just come home from a 4 night stay at the smithy. The owners give you a very warm welcome and we had a lovley unexpected welcome pack, they even catered for our dog which was fantastic. The cottage itself from the outside is stunning, it has so much character when you go inside, the cottage is spotless, very modern and cosy. The steam room is amazing, the hot tub was a stunning feature. The back garden and decking is also very well maintained and very clean. There is plenty to see and do, even though the cottage is rural and on a working farm, it's only a 15 minute drive from the town, with lots of traditional country pubs about. Nathan from South Wales (02 June 2017)
Amazing time away in this cottage. Hosts were incredible and couldn't do enough to make out stay perfect. . will definitely book again. Melissa from Winchester (29 May 2017)
Stunning local scenery, walks across the road worth taking. very kind and friendly hosts. Many shops on the outskirts of worcester that are easy to get to. Not far from the cotswolds, brecon and many towns and cities. Marilyn from Wem (12 May 2017)
Great place. Very modern, with a fab shower. Hot tub was great in the evening. We watched the ducks and geese get fed one morning too. Emily (01 May 2017)
This is a great place to get away from everything, to relax in the stunning hot tub, or to walk the dog along the vast stretches of walk ways. . the barn conversion has been done to a top quality finish, with no exspence spared. It's got all modern features even the shower has a music system built. . lovely grounds as well, with a little farm too see the chickens and sheep and geese.(thank you for letting joey feed them:). . the owner is lovely, willing too help with anything. . thank you for a wonderful time Mark from Peterborough (23 April 2017)
Whilst our holiday was cut short due to family we spent a complete day doing absolutely nothing, starting with a relaxing time in the steam room, what a wonderful way to start the day, would highly recommend the smithy, at any time of the year. 5*+ Carole from West Midlands (24 March 2017)
This holiday was perfect for us and the dogs. Great location owners were lovely and we would love to go again big thumbs and paws up from us Leanne from Mansfield (12 March 2017)
The property has been converted to a very high standard and has everything you need with the added benefit of a steam room and private hot tub. The only reason we haven't given the smithy and 10 is because there was no access to garden through the property, other than that a superb place for a relaxing holiday. Samantha from Birmingham (10 March 2017)
A fabulous relaxing place finished to a very high standard. the owners would do anything for you and made us feel very welcome. The hot tub is amazing! we will definitely be going back! Alison from Hatton (29 January 2017)
We had a great time at this lovely cottage. The hot tub and steam room in the wet room was amazing. Can't wait to go back. Mel from Essex (22 January 2017)
A very stylish and cosy new barn conversion, with friendly and helpful owners. The hot tub and steam room were unexpected! an interesting small-holding, with walks from the door. A little concerned about the sloping drive in winter, if icy. Barrie from Macclesfield (19 January 2017)
Amazing weekend stay, lovely welcome pack which included treats for my puppy! free wifi and an amazing hot tub. Will definitely stay again! thanks jane x Sherelle from Oldbury (15 January 2017)

Our family had a fantastic time, we were at the smithy for 7 nights over the christmas period, we spent christmas day in the hot tub and had a bbq. The cottage was so comfortable and warm, a gorgeous welcome pack was provided, even for our 2 dogs, they loved their christmas break". the steam room was amazing. A massive thank you to jayne & matt who made us feel at home and were always pleasant. We would definitely book again and have recommended the cottage to friends and family. My friends and I had a lovely break at the smithy. Beautiful cottage, loved the radio playing shower! hot tub was lovely. Only fault was wifi did not work other than that it was the perfect break with friendly owners. Would definitely return! thanks for a great stay. Alicia from Wolverhampton (11 December 2016)
Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much, everything we needed was there and all the little touches really made us feel at home. Malissa from Nottingham (05 December 2016)
Our visit to the smithy was excellent and exceeded expectations. The accomodation has been renovated to an excellent standard with all the mod cons. Jayne was very welcoming and couldnt have been more helpful, wanting to make sure we had everything we needed before leaving us to it for the weekend. The hot tub was fabulous and easy to use, we managed to make use of it every evening which was lovely in the cold frosty evenings! I would highly recommend the smithy the accomadation is great and a good base to explore the local area. Not too far from west midlands safari park and several main towns nearby to explore as well as many walking routes. . thank you for our wonderful stay. I would definately recommend for a visit. Leila from Preston (07 November 2016)
We spent a lovely long weekend at the smithy. The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard and everything we needed was there. Our dog had a field to run in and a public footpath through the fields nearby to explore. It was a wonderful relax in a rural location and I would highly recommend it. Mike from London (01 November 2016)
Had such a lovely stay and will defintely return! Bethany from Birmingham (16 October 2016)
We enjoyed our stay at the smithy, the shower room/ steam room was quite amazing, the large field was handy for the dogs, it's a shame the public footpath behind the smithy was so muddy we had to turn back, Michael from Cheltenham Glos (07 October 2016)
Great cottage and great hosts Bill from Carlisle (25 September 2016)
Really enjoyed our holiday here and would throughly recommend it. A lovely cosy cottage with a touch of luxury run by fabulous people. Our little girl loved feeding the duck, geese and chickens as well as helping to collect eggs. Location was great for visiting worcester, the malvern hills and stourport. We left with more places we'd like to visit next time we stay. Thanks for a fabulous holiday. Paula from Cambridge (09 September 2016)
Beautiful spot overlooking a meadow ideal for dog walking, lovely and quiet and relaxing. Kitted out to a very high speck, there wasn't much we could find wrong with this property, we liked the doggy touches and treats. Even though the owners lived nearby they never encroached. Wifi is a bit of a problem, also no shower or shampoo which you get in every holiday home now as standard, dining table was left in bedroom which was too heavy for us to move into the kitchen diner, we pointed this out and it has been dealt with. Elaine from Brogbrough (29 August 2016)
