This was a lovely place to stay. The decor was in keeping with the area and it felt very welcoming. There were a couple of things that would improve the stay; an additional blind on the side window at the front, one or two screens that could be used to partition the bed from the rest of the apartment (would reduce the amount of light) and replace the sofa bed with a two seater settee - I think the flat works better for two than four people. The welcome pack was fabulous - particularly the wine :). I would definitely consider staying here again if I was on holiday in the area. Louise (18 May 2017)
Great studio flat unfortuately the wife and I are over 70 and stairs were a downer, we did know but thought we were o/k ,but if fit and and well, best in cromer. no doubt. Raison from Bury St Eds (12 May 2017)
Great holiday lovely flat. Very comfortable & clean a very enjoyable break and would . would definitely book it again if in that area. Thankyou. Arthur from Rutland (30 September 2016)
Love this apartment, hence rebooking the last two years. Only downfall can be parking near enough to unloading. Linda from Leicester (19 September 2016)
Fabulous apartment with wonderful views and excellent facilities. Would definitely recommend it. Only downside was that, when using the shower, the water spilt out and soaked the bathroom floor, which made it a potential slip hazard. Could do with a shower door or curtain to stop this happening. Apartment was absolutely fabulous, really enjoyed our stay. Superbly located within cromer. Slight niggle was parking. But overall absolutely brilliant. Serena from Newark Nottinghamshire (26 August 2016)
Perfect base for exploring north norfolk. Local buses just round the corner were frequent and affordable. We used them all the time - perfect for exploring towns nearby and less stressful than taking the car. Paget from Derby (29 July 2016)
A fantastic apartment the views are amazing. Mel from Northampton (06 May 2016)
Lovely apartment in good location in cromer. apartment is on the top floor and there are a lot of stairs but worth it for the views. Carol (04 March 2016)
Absolutely loved it! Frances from Cambridge (19 February 2016)
Excellent location, excellent premises. parking a little cramped, although car parks nearby. Nigel from Ipswich (01 February 2016)
Lovely apartment. Very confortable. Great location and fantastic views. We have now stayed in salty dog and lighthouse view, and looking to book again for next year. Chloe from Leicester (14 December 2015)
We'd stayed there last year and we felt it needed a bit of maintenance this year. Light bulbs gone/etc and not as clean as it was. But would still go back. An outdoor light would be good as its a struggle to get key in door in evenings. Lin from Leicester (21 September 2015)
Excellent property just needs stronger internet signal. Struggled to download a book to my kindle. Confirmed Guest (18 September 2015)
A superb flat in a fantastic location with amazing views. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it is inside. The owner has made great use of the space available. Very comfy bed and the bathroom is of a high standard. The kitchen space is clean and has everything needed for a self-catering holiday. A welcome bottle of wine on arrival was a kind gesture, as were the tea, milk and biscuits. I would definitely recommend lighthouse view to friends and family. Michelle from Beccles, Suffolk. (14 August 2015)
I wil definitely, recommend lighthouse view to friends and family. We had a very relaxing break and are looking forward to going back soon. Ian from Leicester (10 August 2015)
We enjoyed a lovely stay the location and views were excellent and would recommend it to friends and family. The flat was comfortable and well equipped with extra touches that we were not expecting eg. A bottle of wine on arrival. The only small problem was parking when we moved the car during days out. David from Ware, Hertfordshire. (20 March 2015)
Excellent weekend away in this wonderfully appointed flat. Everything that we possibly could have needed was there, and the views from the window seats were worth the price alone. David from Watford (09 March 2015)
The lighthouse view was the perfect for a weekend break. Very nice well equipped clean and tidy . five minute walk (at most) to beach restaurants ect . we would stay here again. If I had to find fault they would be parking, we had to unload our car and find some where to leave it parked but I would think this is the same for all holiday homes with in cromer town centre. . the windows are big windows with seats at both ends of room only thing is not all windows have blinds to cover so felt that houses on other side could possibly see in if lights on at night but fantastic views from top floor. But apart from those 2 very small things this is a wonderful place to stay. Anita from Stamford (16 February 2015)
Ideal for one or two persons, clean warm noproblems found Confirmed Purchaser (05 December 2014)
Perfect location for visiting cromer and exploring the wider area. The lighthouse view is a lovely studio apartment, perfect for two comfortably furnished and well equipped. The window seats and telescope were particular favorite points. Small negative points a blind or curtain to the two side windows would be a welcome addition. Also in well equipped accommodation such as this would like to find a cafetiere in the cupboard next to the teapot. Alison from Hampshire (28 October 2014)
Great apartment, highly recommend as a couple "getaway", lovely welcome including a bottle of wine, biscuits , milk, tea, coffee.there was washing up liquid, hand wash, kitchen roll, iron, hairdryer etc. We enjoyed a very comfortable week in a great location.the telescope was a nice touch for looking out to sea and the window seats were fab.plenty to do in the area to while away the time, and lots to enjoy in cromer itself. Couple of considerations there are three flights of stairs to the apartment which could be a challenge for some, thinking about my retired mother, also we felt that because the sofa doubles as a sofa bed it was uncomfortable to sit on for a period of time. Wifi was sketchy and restricted on our floor and there was no dvd player as advertised.other than that we couldn't fault anything and would highly recommend. Lovely well presented building and welcoming nautical touches throughout..enjoy. Sally from Yorkshire (24 October 2014)
This apartment could barely be faulted. It was very well equipped and comfortable.the views across cromer and its pier were stunning . Tony from Witham Essex (17 October 2014)
This was a lovely flat, fantastic position, would return and have already recommended it to others. Linda from Rothley Leicester (22 September 2014)
The lighthouse view was a lovely location central for everything. The owners sue & colin was very good as we had an issue with the sofa bed and they came down in person to sort it out. I would recommend this property to anybody who wishes to stay in cromer. Christine from London (19 September 2014)
The hallway when you enter the building is nice and clean there is nobody to greet you there plenty of leaflets on what to do if you never been to norfolk plus there is hats some kids buckets and spade the door to the flat they is only one key and one for the front door could do with spare key there was no spy hole on door of flat so if person went down to put rubbish in outside bins forgot key to flat had to shout through door to be let in flat was smaller than other studio apartments been to it had two dormer windows at each end and had window seats which was nice to sit on to watch ships going along and people walking down to beach pier + town it is open plan except for bathroom when you climb up to the flat put the light on downstairs because the stairway is dark even at daytime and famitiarize yourself where the switches are because was slow going up one day after walking all day the light went out and had to feel along the wall where the switch was on one of the landings to the flats the welcome pack was 2 tea bags + 2 coffee sachet 4 sugar 1 small carton of milk and a bottle of wine which was nice to have a drink before unpacked but teapot still had tea in from last guest so had to make tea in cup the tv was comb tv + dvd there is only basic tv channels on the freeview because maybe signal issues around the area because sometimes mobile signal wasn't very good kitchen under eaves at right side plenty of plates pans etc microwave/comb but no instruction leaflet for the model complete different from what used to under counter fridge with ice box but had to chip some ice out to get ice cream and something else in under counter electric oven and grill but watch out if doing bacon etc it will set off smoke alarm when open oven door also when did poached eggs in large pan set off alarm put on back ring with fan on full no good on low even moving potatoes to strain water in sink set smoke alarm off so get your guest or partner to fan smoke alarm with newspaper or something else while taking stuff out oven or moving pans watch if electric goes off like it did when there cooker goes to auto and doest start you have to put timer on it does not tell you how to in instructions bed under left eaves on the floor type and very low and even then when you get up half asleep in night you end up banging your head and 5 foot 5 so anybody taller it will be worse could do with blinds at side windows also blackout blinds could see when laid in bed inside flat on corner of street and when it got light was up at 4 to 5am so was tired by end of holiday and at night in bed wondering what flash off light into flat was it was the lighthouse all the bedding was white and nice and spotless bed very clean at side of bed there is cupboard with hoover broom + mop kitchen floor and bathroom was small enough to wash on hands. Bathroom got shower in no bath shower booster didn't work which was a good thing because when first used shower flooded floor had to keep stopping and starting so would not flood floor bathroom smelt damp but that could have been because of issue with shower nice white towels good quality glass screen was smeared all over and sorry to the next people who used bathroom for leaving spider on ceiling I don't kill spiders and I don't like removing them at home there is someone to remove them next to bathroom they is a storage cupboard with plenty of hangers a shelf with boxes to keep your stuff in also a ironing board and iron the flat is in a good location and is in decant condition it wasn't ideal for me because of the issues if I could get extra guests to help with the cost we would maybe book one of the bottom flats but everything was expensive here next time can afford to go on holiday seriously thinking about going aboard Ann from Sheffield (29 August 2014)
Just perfect. will definitely return soon Confirmed Purchaser (30 May 2014)
Lovely flat, warm and stylish, amazing views, lovely location, would definitely go again. Judith from Northants (15 March 2014)
Fantastic holiday, not much to do in cromer itself when it's cold but plenty to do in the surrounding areas! flat was beautiful, couldn't fault it at all. Will definitely be returning! Rebecca from London (17 February 2014)
Beautiful flat in an excellent location. Blinds missing in side windows which meant being woken up early! would suggest extra set of keys left inside flat due to fact main downstairs door to be locked on going out and in. This causes difficulty if guests want to go out separately. Catherine from Perth (03 February 2014)
Lovely apartment, great to be able to see the sea from the big windows. Would go there again. Gerald from Malvern (11 October 2013)
The lighthouse is a great place to stay, it is modern, well equipped and very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone. Adrian from Leicester (30 September 2013)
Views were amazing.the sunrises and sunsets top class. The flat was decorated with a seaside theme which worked well. Cromer is a very friendly town too. Clare from Bucks (23 August 2013)
Excellent standard and location, great value for money and an ideal base to explore north norfolk from Barbara from London (09 August 2013)
