Comfortable cottage in a convenient location. Owners very friendly. The old dairy made a good holiday base to enjoy all that cornwall had to offer. Gill from Singapore (28 July 2017)
We had a wonderful time exploring the area from this wonderful farm based cottage. The owners were so welcoming and helpful during our stay. We will definitely stay at the old cottage next time we visit the area. Michael J (14 July 2017)
Lovely place. Wonderful location with a genuine welcome. Confirmed Guest (19 August 2016)
A well presented cottage, in a lovely quiet location, with excellent hosts who are most welcoming and helpful. It is an excellent location to explore from, and we would happily recommend it. However, you have to be prepared to drive unless you are very fit and active, because access on foot turned out to be a challenge because of the cottage's location, the steep rough access track, and the local narrow roads with speeding traffic. We found it about a 20 minute walk (uphill) the the village shop, and about 45 minutes walk up the hill then down the road to the nearest beach at porthtowan (it's actually 2 miles away) and about 50 mins coming back because of the very steep hill at the end. not quite what we had hoped for from the cottage's description ( situated a mile from the north cornwall coast) at the end of a day walking several miles along the coast path! Mark from Somerset (29 July 2016)
It was an ideal location for exploring cornwall. the cottage was really lovely and the owners mark and jo made us very welcome. An excellent place to chill out and unwind. Catherine from Manchester (22 July 2016)
Lovely quiet private cottage with its own garden close to the north coast beaches, good for walking and not far from the tramway cycle routes including the coast to coast cycle. Michelle from South Devon (15 July 2016)

A great place to stay in a good location for exploring cornwall. the owners are very welcoming and are helpful without being intrusive. we hope to stay again in the future. Caroline from South Gloucestershire (05 June 2015)
One of the best self catering cottages we have had. The location on the farm in a valley was so peaceful, you could hear absolutely nothing but yet all the far south west coastline from newquay around to st ives, lands end and across to falmouth was within 30 minutes drive. . the converted old dairy itself was very well designed, well equipped(especially the kitchen with lots of cupboards)and extremely comfortable.the very friendly and welcoming owners had thought of everything. We will definitely stay again in this cottage surrounded by this beautiful coastline. Robert from Stanbridge (27 March 2015)
We stayed in this beautiful little cottage during the last week of november. The property is in a very quiet location on a working farm. It had everything you need for a holiday and the added bonus of the wood burner in the lounge. The directions provided were spot-on and we had no trouble finding the property even though when we got there it was getting dark. It had been 20 years since we last went to cornwall, I don't think we will leave it so long next time. Martin from Luton (28 November 2014)
We were made very welcome at this comfortable property and enjoyed a lovely week of sunshine touring the locality. We would not hesitate to go again. John from Huddersfield (26 September 2014)
We really enjoyed our stay at the old dairy.it was spotlessly clean and in a wonderfully quiet location down an off-road narrow farm track. The kitchen/dining area was bright and airy. It was adequately equipped and met all our needs. The lounge area was comfortable and the only negative in here was the fact that it was not cool enough in the evening to light the corner wood burner ! two other minor negatives were that my wife found the bed a little on the firm side for her taste, and for me, the shower was a little tight for a 'fella' ,but otherwise everything else was fine. Overall, a lovely, peaceful, and quiet place to stay for a couple. It is wonderfully situated for visiting the north and south coasts of the area, and within a stone's throw from both st agnes and porthtowan. Recommended. Lee from Sheffield. (18 July 2014)
Thoroughly enjoyable Jeffery from Woodley, Reading (27 June 2014)

Lovely cottage, friendly owners Mark from Shepton Mallet (30 August 2013)
The owners were super friendly and extremely helpful. - for instance, they instantly bought an extra sun umbrella when the hot weather made it difficult to sit on the terrace! always ready to give advice, yet we had complete privacy for our little family. Caroline from Frankfurt, Germany (26 Jul 2013)
Lovely cottage set in peaceful surroundings with it's own private garden and patio area, great for relaxing in at any time of the day. Cottage very comfortable with everything you need. Julie from Birmingham (12 Jul 2013)

The cleanliness and the equipement of the cottage are perfect and the so friendly owner family, who helped us so much by clearifying the rental car problem after cancelled flight..that was not naturally!!!. Heike from Neustadt (07 Jun 2013)
Was an ideal location for visiting st ives, penzance, lands end, lizard point, st michaels mount. The cottage was ideal for a cosy getaway and we loved the wood burner. The owners were really friendly (without being intrusive) and we knew we could ask for their help if we needed it. Mark and jo kindly allowed us to start our holiday on a monday due to getting married on the saturday. We would love to go back to stay in the old dairy. Louise from Lowestoft (08 April 2013)

Friendly owners, peaceful setting, nice cottage Stanley from Isle Of Man (10 August 2012)
The owners of the property were very friendly and more than helpful during our stay. The accommodation was excellent and very quiet (even though sited on a small working farm). It is ideally situated for visiting all parts of Cornwall. It is only a couple of minutes drive from Porthtowan Beach one way and Truro the other. Many thanks for a very enjoyable stay! Very friendly cottage.Warm welcome from the owners. Brilliant for exploring all of Cornwall. Close proximity to gorgeous beaches and cliff walks. Short drive to good pubs and restaurants. Customer 34 (June 2011)
Really nice quite location. Ideally situated to visit just about anywhere in Cornwall. Lovely cottage, really nice welcome with biscuits, teabags and a pint of milk for our arrival. Also the box of freshly laid eggs ready for the morning... which were delicious. Cottage small but nice and cosy, had it been cold the wood burner would have been used. Everything kept clean and tidy, with all amenities available from washing machine to iron and board etc. Really good cottage would recommend to others. Customer 35 (May 2011)

The Old Dairy is in the most tranquil and peaceful setting imaginable. No traffic noise and no helicopters or airplanes. Even the farm animals were far enough away not to be heard.
