We loved staying at the mistress' house which was a lovely building with fascinating connections to the people - and lovers- of the founders of hunstanton. a lovely, well located building close to a trail of other arts and crafts properties in the town. the main staircase would not suit anybody infirm or very small children but we found it charming. Barbara from Coventry (03 June 2017)
Very nice accommodation in a very nice location that has two extremely welcoming and informative hosts Confirmed Guest (24 September 2016)
Lovely clean spacious house in a good location, could see the sea from rear bedroom windows, kids loved having 2 staircases! parking near the house during the afternoon wasn't always possible, but was fine at other times of day. Great to be so near rock pools and a short walk from sand dunes. Good communication from owners. We enjoyed our time in hunstanton and would definitely recommend this house (would also recommend fishers chip shop for big portions & best tasting food) Nicki from Luton (30 July 2016)
Excellent cottage. Very good communications from the owner. On the nicer side of hunstanton. Parking can be tight during the day but eases off in the evening. Good access to shops, restaurant and sea front. Close to many nice places by car. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would certainly use this property again if we came back to this area. Nick from West Midlands (04 June 2016)
Great location and spacious accommodation. clean and functional and lounge area large and well laid out for the family to use at the end of the day. stairs narrow at one side of the house and spiral at the other end made it interesting with bags, but this was a very small negative and the misress' house is a good place to stay. Trevor from Bromley (31 October 2015)
The owner said you could see the sea no you could not the bath was two small the people door was very nolse at 3am the beach but should have been free for the price he was charging Mark from Wakefield (14 September 2015)
Lovely quirky cottage. Entrance overshadowed with growth of trees/shrubs needed pruning. Main problem with 7 occupants was only one shower over the one bath with a dual entrance making awkward situations. Rodney from Leven, Beverley (22 August 2015)
Well placed for most of the ameneties, lovely surprise gift pack of goodies, especially the wine & fresh fruit, a caring touch. Useful information book along with e-mailed & telephoned advice & 'good food' resturants within the area, a very considerate owner. Loved the ambiance of the cottage as well, would reccomend it for all ages, wonderful. I found, being severely visually impaired, with a guide-dog, after orientation of property, had no problems, though still need sighted person with me, Hilary from Guiseley (15 August 2015)
Beautiful historical house. Lovely comfy huge bed! ideal location for the town and seafront. Children loved the 2 staircases. Very well equipped house. Only criticism would be house felt very dark downstairs. Beach hut lovely but shame the weather wasn't good enough to use it when we were there so a waste of money. Shame cost isnt included in rental of house as it is fairly expensive Mary from Gloucester (01 August 2015)
Stunning property bursting with character in a great location; literally round the corner from the sea! Tara from Cambridgeshire (11 April 2015)
Quirky unique house in excellent location. Diane (13 September 2014)
The house was very expensive you can book down south for less.it states that there is parking for three cars you can park your cars if you can find space on the adjoining roads, both staircases are very narrow you struggle to get up and down with suitcases, the decking outside was dirty and very slippery when wet,to get down to peg washing out on the line you had to fight your way through the bushes,we have never stayed anywhere were we had to strip the beds before leaving, there were cobwebs in some of the rooms, Peter from Nottinghamshire (24 August 2013)
Very comfortable and well appointed property, excellently situated for many north norfolk attractions. Confirmed Purchaser (26 Jul 2013)
