Very welcoming and homely cottage and owners, great to have use of hot tub and the gardens with the sea view. Easy access to the rest of the island . Suzie from Birmingham (30 May 2015)
Location was nice but a little off the track however we enjoyed it very much. The cottage was a lovely farm type with old fashioned doors and very old flooring . the owners were very friendly and her cake was just fab. The hot tub was a real asset I was in every day.the only problem for us is the traveling time from cleethorpes and our friends came from the north east. It is a loverly place to stay if the weather is good but well done to the owners. Barry from Cleethorpes (09 May 2015)
Very nice place to stay, the owners met us at the door and made us extremely welcome. A cream tea on the lawn was unexpected and delightful. The dog was the friendliest and best behaved we have ever met, and waited outside our door with a stick each morning. Stephen from Wiltshire (18 April 2015)

Wine & cake on arrival. Very friendly & playful collie-cross living on site. Imperative visitor likes dogs. Ray from St Albans (07 July 2012)
A lovely peaceful location far from the madding crowd! The host & hostess Mr & Mrs Kennerly were so welcoming - very kind couple indeed. Obviously sunshine helps to keep everyone warmer including the cottage which on our one and only wet morning did seem cooler. We did enjoy the garden too which we had access to. I recommend this property for those who do not want to be in the noisier location of a town. Customer 20 (July 2011)
Beautiful location and a fantastic welcome from the hosts! Very well located for beach, countryside and main roads for rest of island visits! We booked to go back as soon as we got home! Customer 21 (June 2011)
Very comfortable and property of character - owners were very welcoming. Just outside built up areas, so quiet but easy to get to places. Customer 22 (June 2011)
’The Hideaway’ was even nicer than we expected! it is in a really tranquil setting & although it is rural, it’s just a pleasant walk along the coastal path or only a few minutes drive to Shanklin. It’s a well equipped & comfortable cottage and one we’d highly recommend and would definitely be happy to return to. They also have the most delightful playful little dog too that our girls fell in love with. Customer 23 (May 2011)
Good view. Nice people. Well placed. Children loved it. Great garden. Customer 25 (August 2010)
