Nice place would be great if in cromer its self , for us older ones its a bit of a pull back up hill if you walk down into town, upstairs shower cubicle could do with an overhaul little bit short on cooking trays in kitchen we have been twice now and will certainly be going again Philip from Leeds (21 July 2017)
We only stayed for 3 nights but it was just right and all we could have wanted. Rosemary from Henley-On-Thames (09 July 2017)
Lovely cottage, like the garden at the front a lovely place to sit with a cuppa in the afternoon, we all had a very enjoyable stay. Good space for the young lady in the wheelchair. Oven could have been cleaner as could the drawer to the washing machine. Sally from Stowmarket (02 June 2017)
We were very comfortable. the cottage was attractive and well equipped. it is on a busy road but I can't say the traffic affected us. we were without a car but the walk into town was pleasant and manageable (we're all in out sixties) and the buses to cromer, sheringham and norwich stop just yards from the cottage. just a word of caution, don't leave the downstairs bathroom open when the showers on - it sets the smoke alarm off! also, one negative, the oven badly needed cleaning. we were unable to use it because of the smoke. but overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Jo from Lowestoft (08 May 2017)
Lovely place , noise a night of traffic to loud in bedroom ,. parking tight if everyone was there Caz from Cambs (07 April 2017)
Great place absolutely ideal for catching up with old friends Joyce from Haywards Heath (31 March 2017)
The cottage is lovely and cosy. nice location. Tonette from Milton Keynes (24 February 2017)
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The location is great, if the weather was nice you could definitely walk into cromer. . the actual accommodation had everything and more. The only minor things were that the upstairs bedroom is in need of some blackout blinds, the wifi box made a funny screeching noise and the tv could do to be a little bigger. . would definitely recommend this place and would love to go back (maybe in the summer!!) Confirmed Guest (13 February 2017)
Second visit to the cottage, we were there for five nights all of which were sleepless ones. the mattresses on all the beds were disgraceful worn and old. the duvet on the bed upstairs had seen better days. left quite disappointed. . cottage is well equipped and in a great location, attention to detail needed in other areas Karen from Letchworth (26 October 2016)
Lovely place to stay in, about a 20 (very brisk) / 25 min brisk walk into the main town / seaside, a bonus if you're trying to get that fitbit step count up! very well equipped if you like cooking. remember to take trays if you want to eat dinner on laps. . suggestions for owner: . - provide a table cloth for the outside table, it's a bit unstable as it's wrought iron and glasses wobbled. - please, please - sort the black mould out around the bath downstairs! it's easy to do and would make using the wonderful bathroom a 100% enjoyable experience. . overall, a great little cottage, very well looked after and well maintained with a lot of thought as to what guests need and want for a pleasant stay. Even down to dishwasher tablets, bikes and beachware in the shed and spare keys. . a very easy checkin process, as there is just a keysafe - so self service check in and out, very much appreciated. A definite to return to. Cath And Jules from Londinium (09 September 2016)
It really was a home from home for the week. Was really impressed with what was provided in the cottage. Would definitely recommend. Cass from Leicestershire (05 August 2016)
We had a great time at the dairy . very well equipped with every thing we could have needed. Would return in a minute!!!! Connie from Aberdeen (29 July 2016)
Having a studio living area was not right for me, so I would not book one again. I did not like the fridge background hum being present all the time. if it had not been for this I would have rated the cottage much higher. it was also on a very busy road, so we did not use the charming front patio. Irene from Ashford (15 July 2016)
Lovely cottage. would have liked a larger screen tv. apart from that wanted for nothing. Sue from Peterborough (17 June 2016)
Very well equipped. Nothing seemed to have been overlooked. Andy from Gloucester (10 June 2016)
We have stayed at the dairy before so knew where it was and what to expect. The accommodation was nice but could do with some new furniture it's a bit dated. We left a day early from our holiday not because of the cottage but the weather was lousy which is something we can't do anything about but apart from that it was ok. Alison from Dewsbury (03 June 2016)
Great accommodation and very clean. Outdoor area needs tyding and cooker not very easy to use. Shirley from Birmingham (20 May 2016)
Great find, lovely cottage Confirmed Guest (25 April 2016)
Excellent accommodation, Chri from Toddington (22 April 2016)
Had a great break in cromer, the dairy was a lovely place to stay and would like to stay there again one day. Confirmed Guest (25 March 2016)
The dairy was great, it was clean and full of nice equipment, no problems with neighbours despite being a new year break. bit difficult to find as didn't expect it to be on a main road, as it is not clear in the photograph, but not that much noise to worry us over all. would recommend and would like to think we would return. Jennifer from Felsham (02 January 2016)
We found norfolk a most interesting county, plenty of places to visit and the people extremely friendly. the dairy was absolutely charming and we could not find fault with it in any way. so many nice little touches, such as a varied array of toiletries and a good store cupboard. only reservation was the actual location on a busy road but that would not deter us from booking it again should we decide to explore norfolk again, and we would definitely recommend it to our family and friends. an absolute gem! Wendy from Romford, Essex (16 October 2015)
A lovely little house within walking distance of cromer town centre. very clean and well kept. Confirmed Guest (31 August 2015)
Excellent; the property is on a main road, but the traffic noise didn't disturb us. Perfect distance to walk into cromer and further afield to sherringham and overstrand. The uphill walk back from town wasn't too much of an issue for us (we are regular runners, ran twice while on holiday) but there is the more gentle option of the walk passed the hospital which is a pleasant, slightly less steep, variation. . everything in the cottage is perfect, and so well equipped. Highly recommended Helen from West Bromwich (14 August 2015)
The only problem we encountered was with the shower head near the end of our stay. I text the owner to advise and they duly responded to thank me and that it would be fixed that weekend. Chris from Shrivenham, Oxfordshire (12 June 2015)
The dairy was a beautiful cottage with all of our needs catered for and more. The traffic noise wasn't ideal first thing in a morning but was't much of a problem. Also, the light came through into the bedroom a little too bright. But overall 'the dairy' is excellent and feels like a real home. Andrew from Worksop (29 May 2015)
We recently stayed at the dairy with our two young sons. The dairy was clean, comfortable, very well equipped (even down to buckets and spades available to take to the beach) and we very much enjoyed our stay there. We would definitely stay at the dairy again. . . however information about the dairy should make clear that it's situated just outside cromer (the blurb we read online said a 20 minute walk into town but it's more than that, especially if you have young children) and that it's on a very busy road, with traffic noise continuing into the night. Claire from Hertfordshire (25 May 2015)
We found the cottage clean & comfortable & would definitely go back there next time we visit our friend in cromer. We thought a shelf next to the bathroom sink would be useful as there was nowhere to put shaving things, shampoo etc. Things would not stand up on the sink as it slopes. Leslie from Kettering (15 May 2015)
This was the loveliest holiday cottage we've ever stayed at. So clean and well furnished with everything you need and more. The only downside was the distance into cromer and the very steep hill which made taxis necessary for older members of our party. Fine if you like to walk. Ann from West Sussex (08 May 2015)
It was more than a 20 minute walk from the town centre and this needs to be changed in the write up.the main road outside the property was busy and very noisy at times. Sara from Street (10 April 2015)
Exceptionally well equipped and comfortable cottage. Near good bus route. Jean from Lancaster (27 March 2015)
Everything was fine - we will stay again. The "8" given for location was simply that the property was on the main road, which was only busy during rush hours - but as we live on a main road, we are used to that! the gobions at the front inside the main wall did work to deaden some of the sound. Overall very pleased with the cottage. Kenneth from Colchester, Essex. (20 November 2014)
Really nice cottage, has lots of extras, only negative is that it is so close to major road which isn't obvious in the description. Ann from Ware (19 September 2014)
Loved this cottage! it had everything we needed including kit for a 1 year old and although it was a little bit of a walk into town (about 20 minutes) and the hill was steep to walk back up, it was quite pleasant to walk off our ice creams! Kirsty from Newark On Trent (12 September 2014)
Road noise and the lights from vehicles are a nuisance at night.the failure of the electricity on the first night was very annoying.the owner sent an electrician who said it was not a good idea having all the circuits on 1 rcd safety circuit breaker. Alan from Luton (08 September 2014)
Absolutely loved our stay at the dairy, everything was exceptional and would definitely recommended it especially for young families like ourselves! Sarah from Market Rasen (22 August 2014)
Probably the best equipped holiday cottage we have ever booked, however the settee was not very comfortable and the tv is very small for old codgers like us! it was impossible to read the proramme guide or any written material on screen. Overall, though, we were very pleased with the cottage and the local area. David from Colne (27 June 2014)
Lovely cottage, the only negatives as far as we were concerned were, too far to walk into cromer, do something in cromer and walk back (mum is 84), and the noise from the road was quite intrusive. Apart from these 2 points it was absolutely brilliant - really good holiday. Sue from Kettering (23 May 2014)
Well equipped and high standard of finish and fittings. Nice to have wifi. . is at least 20 minutes walk into town as stated in details. Confirmed Purchaser (21 April 2014)
An absolutely brilliant cottage down to soap and salt and pepper being there, the best cottage we have stayed in , my grandaughters loved it. thanks for everything David from Dransfield (14 April 2014)
Brilliant comfortable weekend Rachael from Sudbury (10 March 2014)
For the past three years, we've taken a long weekend in march at the dairy and have always enjoyed our time there. The cottage is very well kept, although this time around, we noticed that it could to with a little maintenance to get it back to 100% again (e.g. The gas fire is a devil to get going). it's perfectly appointed and immaculately clean and cosy. The 20 minute walk to cromer is fine for us and we often take the cliff walk which is a few minutes away. David from Bishop'S Stortford (03 March 2014)
Excellent facilities and comfortable cottage. the only downside was its position in relation to the road with the road almost at first story level it was very intrusive. Glynis from Cheltenham (31 January 2014)
The property is very comfortable, well equipped & was spotless on arrive. the location is good for the surrounding local area (i.e. Easy reach in car for beaches & places of interest). . the only down points for the property are - the main road outside of the property (norwich road) is busy therefore a little noisy & the walk in to cromer is more than stated on the details. . these points didn't effect our stay but the property may not be for everyone & we were aware when booking the property of these issues from reading the previous reviews. . all in all we had a lovely time in cromer/norfolk. Jon from Northampton (16 August 2013)
A well appointed cottage. the owner was helpful when the tv stopped working and had it replaced. a change of bedlinen and towels mid-holiday would have been appreciated (we were there for a fortnight). the noise from the busy norwich road nearby did not disturb us unduly and the compensation is there are are bus stops twenty yards away for those without transport. John from Nottingham (02 August 2013)
Lovely clean and well equipped cottage. Very comfortable . Sue (10 Jun 2013)
This cottage is so well equipt! it has everything you could need. Lovely touches like barbecue and bikes, books and games. What raised this up over other cottages we have stayed in was the little things like salt and pepper and basics in the cupboards, small things but but so handy. Cathy from Newport, Gwent. (07 Jun 2013)
Well equipped ,good soft and hard furnishings. Thomas from Southend On Sea (26 April 2013)
A very welcoming cottage with everything that we needed supplied. The high quality of the cottage and equipment supplied outweight the drawbacks referred to below. James from Barkston Ash, North Yorkshire (19 April 2013)
Nice decor and equipment. Peter from Princes Risborough (29 March 2013)
Beautifully presented modern and cosy cottage about a 20/25 minute walk into cromer. Very well equiped kitchen. Spotlessly clean throughout. Comfortable beds. David from Stansted (04 March 2013)
Beautifully maintained cottage with many extras. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Geoffrey from Andover, Hampshire (01 March 2013)
- very well equipped kitchen. - spacious and comfortable furniture Confirmed Purchaser (07 January 2013)
Very comfortable lots of extra good touches and high quality equipment Jane from Cambrige (19 November 2012)
Well equipped and clean. John from Plymouth (21 September 2012)
Clean, comfortable, well equipped and relaxing. Helen from London (27 August 2012)
As above, excellent toiletries.every possible piece of equipment. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Russell from Liverpool (15 June 2012)
Clean, downstairs bedroom and bathroom ideal for elderly relative Debbie from Walsall (11 May 2012)
Beautifully converted and well looked after. very comfortable and well furnished. nice ornaments on window ledges making the cottage looked "loved". clear instructions for appliances and where to park etc. Even down to don't water the orchids! we shall certainly stay there again. Martin from Woodbridge (20 April 2012)
The Dairy is a delightful conversion, tastefully decorated, well furnished and very comfortable. It is on the main road between Norwich and Cromer so there is some traffic noise but it did not bother us. It is a 20 - 30 minute walk downhill into Cromer town centre but this did not bother us. We would certainly go back to The Dairy when we visit Cromer again. Lots of lovely freebies in the bathrooms. Plenty of cleaning materials, beach towels in bedroom and childrens beach toys in shed. Customer 60 (April 2012)
The Dairy is particularly well equipped. Very cosy and comfortable which is so important for a winter break. Customer 61 (February 2012)
This lovely little cottage was perfect for a short break with my sister; within easy reach of many attractions - we especially loved the baby seals and a pleasant walk into Cromer. The cosy open-plan living area was ideal to chat whilst cooking and drinking wine when we got back! Both bedroom comfie and beuatifully appointed. Would definitely recommend. Customer 62 (December 2011)
The Dairy is well equipped, clean and maintained to a good standard and a good location for plenty of sightseeing in the surrounding area. Customer 63 (November 2010)
The cottage was well furnished and clean, the beds comfortable and the person taking care of the cottage for the owner was friendly and helpful. Customer 64 (October 2010)
Extremely well equipped, cupboards even had sauces, seasoning, cereals etc. Well equipped for children with games, and activities for them to do. Also had things such as torches, hot water bottles!! Amazing, best cottage I have been in so far. Customer 65 (October 2010)
The property was comfortable and very well maintained. Contains everything you need for a memorable break. Customer 66 (September 2010)
The Dairy was fantastic, everything we wanted and more. Would highly recommend it. Customer 67 (June 2010)
