The cottage is immaculate. Lots of nice touches including a welcome pack. The owner is very helpful. We did lots of cycling & walking without having to use the car as the position of the cottage is excellent, near the coast & snowdon is only 14 miles away. Julie from Matthews (04 August 2017)
This is a charming, well kept cottage with beautiful views. the location is fantastic: near a beach, walks , caernarfon and much more. I especially enjoyed walking my dog jenny on the coastal path. this was a perfect holiday for my husband, myself and jenny. Judith from Chester (28 July 2017)
Fabulous cottage. owners thought of everything you could possibly want. They were very friendly and helpful. Cottages is in an ideal location for walking in the mountains or going to the beach. Brian from Marton (21 July 2017)
A spotlessly clean, comfortable and well eqipped cottage with loads of places to visit on your doorstep. My wife and I were particularly pleased with the accessibility to facilities inside the cottage. the owners were happy to offer advice on the area if required. we had a very enjoyable long weekend. Gordon from North Wales (03 July 2017)
Absokoutley stunning. Realky beautiful. Caretakers on site who were really nice and helpful. Clare from Bromsgrove (28 June 2017)
Really warm welcome. The property was immaculately clean. Compact and a little quirky in style/furnishing, it's perfect for two people intending to be out and about in the wonderful surrounding area. Charlie from Melton Mowbray (16 June 2017)
Lovely comfortable cottage with a good location for snowdonia. Only a few miles from a tesco while at the same time being far enough away to be very quiet. Recently finished to a high standard and I have no reservations in recommending it. Ryan from Oxford (09 June 2017)
One of the best cottages we have stayed at. Robin from Newquay (04 May 2017)
We (and our dog) had a fantastic time on this holiday. the cottage was very clean and well cared for and the bed was very comfortable. the owners were friendly and relaxed. we were well placed for good walks and sightseeing on the llyn peninsula, in the snowdon area and also anglesey. caernarfon is very close. This holiday gave us all we wanted and we had a relaxing and refreshing break. we would definitely consider returning, perhaps to stay in the larger cottage with family. Brian from Oswestry (29 April 2017)
A lovely place to relax and enjoy the various north wales beauty spots, very close to snowdonia but far enough away from the mountains to avoid being in their personal rain cloud!. . very close to the coast and a great location for exploring anglesey and the llyn peninsula. . the owners are on site and very helpful for information about the property and the local area. . . we were recommended to stay by friends and we thoroughly endorse that recommendation. . john and maggie - from nottingham John from Nottingham (14 April 2017)
We had a really lovely break. The home owner was so friendly and really made us feel welcome. We were only there for a weekend, but we were so sad to leave! everything we could possibly need was there and the house was warm and comfortable, with stunning views. We'd definitely love to return one day. Amy from Northants (02 April 2017)
Very very good really enjoyed it David from Wrexham (31 March 2017)
We have never booked a cottage before, so it took a long time for us to choose and we totally hit the jackpot, there was a welcome beer and home made welsh cakes along with fresh eggs, tea, coffee and sugar also in the kitchen ready for a cuppa. the cottage was absolutely beautiful with everything you needed including a dishwasher along with dishwasher tablets, the log burner was a lovely way to wind down our evenings after long walks, there is nothing I could possibly be negative about and we look forward to our next stay at ty macsen, a very big thank you to the owner for the information regarding the surrounding walks nothing was to much trouble. Vernon from Port Talbot (20 March 2017)
What a beautiful cottage! the attention to detail is incredible and the overall quality of the cottage could not be faulted. The owner euryn was a true gent - nothing was too much bother, he was there if you needed help but otherwise it was as if we had the place entirely to ourselves. The location suited out needs perfectly; a path just at the back of the cottage leads on to the coastal track; out two dogs loved it! this was booked as a surprise holiday for my wife and we would certainly return again Anton from Alcester (18 February 2017)
We had a great weekend in the cottage; excellent facilities and we looked after Dave from Oldham (12 February 2017)
Lovely short break, everything we needed except for maybe a few more fluffy towels and a good bath mat..it's the little things that make all the difference for me. Also a better clothes storage system in bedroom would have been a bonus, however I appreciate space is limited. The small chest of drawers in the bedroom was a little bit rickety and maybe could be replaced with something more functional. the log burner kept us toasty warm, everything we could possibly need in the kitchen. the lovely owner left us a welcome pack with welsh beer and cake. Great property if you have a dog as a small paddock attached to this end property. Views of snowdon from the property. On the whole a lovely stay! we will definitely return. Joanne from Manchester (06 February 2017)
Fabulous spot especially with pets. Edward from Swannington (29 January 2017)
Brilliant place to stay, lovely and clean house. Very welcoming and loved all the little touches to the house. Would stay again, as lovely long walks for my dog. Looking to book again for this year Confirmed Guest (20 January 2017)
Great place to stay. Very friendly host. Location great for snowden and the llyn peninsula. We could see snowden from the kitchen when it wasn't covered by cloud. Great set up, all good. Jane from Brighton (15 January 2017)
Really well presented cottage and a fabulous base for exploring surrounding area. Ideal for dog walks to the beach and estuary. The owners are onsite and really helpful and friendly. There is a local pub but probably a 30 minute walk away. We would definitely stay again. Emma from Lancashire (04 January 2017)

Everything we could have asked for and provided a great base from which to explore the area. Easy access to snowdon and angelsey as well as caernarfon and only a 20 minute walk to the local beach. the welcome pack of local produce and the attention to detail from the owner were very much appreciated. We could not have met a more hospitable host and nothing was too much trouble. Geoff from Lancashire (10 October 2016)

Lovely cottage.. fantastic views and gorgeous location. Really friendly owner and cottage was immaculate. Highly recommended. Dawn from Wokingham (11 September 2016)
Lovely, well equipped cottage with fantastic views including snowdon and lovely coastline. We cycled and it's easy to get to many great places including llanberis and there's a good cycle track to keep you off the roads. Great host & lovely welcome. Martin from Oxfordshire (09 September 2016)
This cottage was absolutely gorgeous. It's recently been renovated to a very high standard. Very modern but vintage looking. It was a good size and felt extremely homely. There was everything in the cottage that you could think of, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher. Hand wash, washing up liquid. The owner had even gone to the trouble of providing oil for cooking, cling film tin foil etc. The cottage is in a perfect location with views of snowden and surrounding mountains. Situated very close to caernarfon. Highly recommend and would love to come back again. The owner is lovely, very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks for a lovely comfortable stay Helen from Buxton (19 August 2016)
A lovely peaceful location. Ideal for dog walking. Exceptionally clean and comfortable cottage. Owner very pleasant and helpful. Ideal location for exploring snowdonia and the north wales coast. Catherine from Yorkshire (12 August 2016)
Perfect cottage for my 1st ever family holiday. Myself, my wife, my husky and my 10 week old baby had a fantastic time. The view of snowdonia from the cottage was outstanding and the costal walk was right beside the cottage. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the beach but its a lovely walk. The cottage was so tidy and is to the highest standards. We are already planning our next visit. The owners couldn't be more friendly and helpful, they really made our visit delightful. James from Stoke-On-Trent (05 August 2016)
Fabulous views of snowdon. Welcome pack was lovely. Maps and walking books were much appreciated. Anne from Kendal (30 July 2016)
Had a lovely week with mixed weather. Property clean and comfortable, very well presented with lots of little touches. The dog loved it and the local walks. Even had our charger returned which was left behind, thank you. Would definitely recommend. Viv from Stafford (22 July 2016)
Once again a lovely stay in a fabulous cottage. Linda from Chester (08 July 2016)
I had arranged for a last minute booking for my husbands birthday and came across ty macsen. What a find. The cottage is absolutely beautiful..it felt like home away from home. The cottage is finished to a very high standard and the thought that has gone into everything there is superb. . location wise, it is in a very peaceful place and we were able to sit with a bacon butty overlooking the clouds rolling over snowdonia. The beach is a little further away from the property than I thought it would be but once we got there, it was beautiful. Our dog loved it too. . . we were very sad to leave and come back to reality. We hope to be back some day! Michelle from Manchester (27 June 2016)
Lovely cottage, great location and friendly host. We had good weather which was a bonus! Geoff from Kingswinford, West Mids. (24 June 2016)
Beautiful location. Beautiful property. Thank you. Jayne from Leicester (06 June 2016)
The cottage is newly renovated and is styled beautifully. Everything has been considered. . it's a short walk to the beach and a short drive to snowdon (which is why we stayed there). . we'll definitely be going back, it's really lovely. Confirmed Guest (30 May 2016)
Loved our stay, great base for exploring all snowdonia has to offer. Owners lovely & clearly care about their guests stay, even brought us over cold beers after zip lining! would love to visit again! Felicity from Nottingham (09 May 2016)
This was an excellent base for our walking holiday with the dog! very comfortable and clean accommodation. Log burning stove was good. Facilities generally were everything we needed. Owner lives nearby and was very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is really nice - you can walk from the house on the coastal path and there are some easy walks on salt marshes nearby too. Carnaervon is about 4 miles away - normal range of shops / supermarkets as well as the castle and the welsh highland railway. All in all it was a great location and excellent value for money. David from Durham (06 May 2016)
A lovely stay, and a warm welcome from eurwyn. Strongly recommended Lloyd from London (11 April 2016)
