A lovely cottage in a lovely location. the only downsides were that we could not find any microwaveable dishes for scrambling eggs, heating things up generally that were not crockery used for dinner, the bed linen on the twin bed had marks on it and make up that could be rubbed with your finger indicating it maybe hadn't been through the wash, under the beds had not been hoovered as there were a few items and dead insects underneath and the armchair had crumbs over it where it would appear it had not been hoovered or checked. the only other matter was the range, which is fine, but how do you cook a dinner if the weather is warmer as you would not want to leave the range on but you would need to wait 2 hours for it to be hot enough to cook, which means you cut your day short or you eat late - I couldn't fathom that one but luckily the weather wasn't too hot that we didn't need to turn it off, we just opened doors and windows. overall though it was in the right location for us as it had good access to the coast hopper bus and a couple of towns. also, it is in a quiet location on a lane out of the main traffic which meant it was also nicely peaceful. Katie from Stowmarket (23 September 2016)
Pretty, comfortable cottage in good location Confirmed Guest from Holmfirth (16 September 2016)
We have stayed at studley cottage before, as we love the cottage and the location. We have already booked again for next year. The shower was a bit temperamental and would just stop mid shower. Claire from Studham (26 August 2016)

Very good location with excellent local pub (100 yds away) for meals. Range cooker takes some getting used to. Main staircase caused some concern and difficulties but back bedroom good alternative. Cosy, clean, everything you need and more. It has an everhot cooker which was a bit fiddly to work on the first day (you need read a bit of the manual to know the operating temperature for the cooking plates). lovely location, will be staying there again definintely! Rebecca from Dunstable (10 April 2015)
Warm, comfortable, relaxing cottage in a great location. Ruth from London (17 October 2014)
A very pleasant cottage in a lovely village. excellently furnished and with plenty of books and jigsaws etc for entertainment. short walking distance from a really good pub/restaurant (very good service). close to good walks and birdwatching and nice villages/towns for a bit of retail therapy. Catherine from Wirral (03 October 2014)
We had a lovely holiday. The house was inviting and had all the equipment we needed. cooking on the aga cooker took a little bit of getting use to. Confirmed Purchaser (15 August 2014)
The cottage and its location were wonderful and we had a great time. the rooms were comfortable and well equipped and we really enjoyed the books and the range cooker. the cottage had most things we needed including wifi - but no mobile phone signal for calls/texts. The beaches and sites nearby were fabulous and we will definitely be returning to the area. Paul from Bromley (01 August 2014)
Beautiful cottage, lovely and homely. Furnished and equipped to a high standard. . added bonus - look out for the barn owl! Claire from Royston (20 June 2014)
Comfortable well presented cottage. Would have been useful to have some means of reporting minor issues such as the interesting occurrence of switching on stair light setting off the smoke alarm! would definitely stay again. Confirmed Purchaser (23 May 2014)
We had a wonderful week helped by beautiful weather. The village was lovely and wonderful for walking and exploring north norfolk. The cottage has been updated since the photographs for example the room with a single bed has a double. All beds comfortable. There are new rugs and sofa also a new cooker. It has good wifi. We especially liked the warm small sitting room in the early morning sun. We were without hot water when we arrived but that was soon forgotten as we loved the cottage. We did struggle a little with the cooker but it was our fault as we did not stop to read the book. Once we did it was no problem. Stella from Ipswich (21 April 2014)
Perhaps more wood in the winter would be helpful and a coffee perculator Charles from Henley On Thames (04 October 2013)
