Lovely bungalow, equipped with everything you would need , very clean and comfortable. Customer 1 from Derby (24 June 2017)
Not up to my standard of a n expensive holiday cottage Pam from Romford (10 June 2017)
We found springtide to be cosy, warm and comfortable and also well equipped. The pretty little garden was very secure for our toy poodle sam, no escape routes!! old hunstanton beach was perfect for dog walking, with wide open spaces and lots of other dogs to play with, we also enjoyed walking in the woods at sandringham and the pinewoods at wells. there are several dog friendly pubs nearby, so all in all a good place to stay. Anne from Suffolk (13 May 2017)
Excellent , clean warm and comfortable. Terry from Corby Northants. (04 March 2017)
We booked at the last minute for a winter break and were pleasantly surprised with this bungalow. For a pet friendly cottage it was very clean. It was well equipped and had everything you would expect.a decent tv, plenty of wardrobe space. A dog proof garden and a quiet location. Mark from Leicestershire (11 February 2017)
Clean and comfortable. Confirmed Guest (12 November 2016)
A well-kept cosy dog-friendly bungalow in a peaceful location on the edge of hunstanton yet close to all amenities. Peter from Stafford (15 October 2016)
We had a lovely stay at springtide, a real home away from home. our only disappointment was the walk down to the beach, it was just too far for us to go there have a walk along the beach and walk back. however, the property was cosy and the garden great for our two small dogs to chase around in. . I would have no hesitation in recommending the place to friends. Pamelia from Nottingham (08 October 2016)
A comfortable and very clean bungalow in a pleasant location. Keith from Diss (01 October 2016)
We liked springtide but there were two major drawbacks - the location and the absence of wi-fi. It was just not quite close enough for us to the sea front or the attractions of hunstanton (others may disagree). we also would have benefitted from wi-fi although again a) this was to do with our particular circumstances and b) the website did not say it had wi-fi. It was the lack of 4g coverage combined with the lack of wi-fi which was a problem for us as it meant that we had no internet access. Andrew from London (20 August 2016)
The bungalow is in a lovely location and was vey clean. A well resourced kitchen. It was slightly further away from the beach than we were expecting but that was our fault for not researching the area fully before booking. Our assistance dog was unwell whilst we were there so we left early, however the difficulties with the shower were also causing us some unwelcome issues. Carol from Northamptonshire (06 August 2016)
Springtide is a lovely, well-equipped bungalow and the owners are extremely friendly and keen to please. Unfortunately, we found it to be a little too far from the town centre and would have had to travel by car had the weather been poor (we had good weather so lots of walking). however, despite the distance from town, we would still stay there again as it is a real home from home. Carole from Cramlington (09 July 2016)
Really good property, location was a little bit further away from amenities than we have been used to as we tend to walk a lot with dog. It would have been nice to have wifi but I am really nit picking here. Overall it is a very good property. Chris from Norwich (07 May 2016)
Realy good for the type of holiday we wanted David from Sheffield (26 March 2016)
Nice bungalow good location nice bottle on arrival for my seventy fifth. Only downside was the weather and we had overlooked that pets were allowed which had an adverse effect on my wife s breathing Tony from Doncaster (21 November 2015)
Fantastic. Close to everything lovely walks an the gardens is perfect for dogs to relax in. Location was peaceful and weather gorgeous Anne from Leucestershire (03 October 2015)
We had a lovely stay at springtide the bungalow was a home from home . nice and quiet with a very nice garden there was every thing we needed to make our stay pleasant. . the only negative was the bathroom. glass shelf was too near sink. shower controles were to high and no hand rails for older guests . Jean from South Wales (01 August 2015)
We have stayed in many holiday cottages and this one rates right up at the top - we wanted to live there!! we felt at home as soon as we opened the front door - everything and more that we could have wished for. great welcome pack and especially nice to find a pint of milk in the fridge and the makings for tea and coffee on arrival. also appreciated the call from the owners checking that we had everything we needed. all in all the best cottage experience we have had. Margaret from Carno (27 June 2015)
This really was a lovely bungalow. the garden was wonderful for our two small dogs and the sun in the conservatory in the morning was heavenly, total relaxation. the bungalow was extremely comfortable, well equipped and great for dogs. there was a great fridge and a freezer and the washing machine was a bonus. the downside for us was it lacked the holiday feel for the children and was just a little bit too far from the beach. but if it was just me and the dogs I wouldn't hesitate to stay again! if only!!! thank you for letting us have the use of your bungalow. Lisa from Spalding (30 May 2015)
Wonderful bungalow & in the perfect location for relaxation! Amanda from Wakefield (16 May 2015)
A very comfortable and well appointed bungalow, well located for all ameneties. Owners very considerate. Barry from Horbury (01 May 2015)
We walked every day to town centre dog enjoyed his walks,. had nice steak buy one get one free at pub near tesco. We found the owners very helpful and friendly, nice big tv screen ,plenty fridge and freezer space for our delivered shopping. The owners left complimentry wine ,biscuits, milk ect. Would recommend as this is one of the best holiday homes I have stayed in. Michael from Stevenage (24 April 2015)
Had a very good week - weather excellent for the time of year. The bungalow suited our needs and, more importantly, those of our dog excellently. I have never seen such a well stocked kitchen both in terms of crockery and utensils but in cleaning aids as well. The owners provided a welcoming bottle of wine, biscuits, milk, and dog biscuits which was a nice touch, David from Reading (28 March 2015)
Excellent cottage, very good facilities, everything you could ask for, only downside is no wifi Christine from Caldicot (21 March 2015)
We had a lovely time, bungalow was very clean and tidy on a development of bungalows, the bottle wine was very welcome. its location is a nice walk to hunstanton, but we had two dogs but wouldn't like to do it with children in the summer carry all the things for the beach. We did make the mistake of walking into heacham and through to hunstanton at least a 7 mile trip, be we loved it. we had snow whilst we were the and the bungalow was very warm. there are some lovely beaches up the coast holkham and wells next to the sea being our favourites, these are very dog friendly with absolutely nobody on the beach (february). we felt the décor was a little dated, it didn't have a holiday feel about it, it was pleasant but not a holiday feeling. we will be back to hunstanton we go every year in february, but not to this bungalow. One issue I had, though not my husband, there is no wifi I live on social media and had to drive to a nearby pub to use thier free wifi!! (not so bad then). thank you though for letting us use your bungalow Alyson from Thetford (07 February 2015)
Unfortunately, we unexpectedly had to have our dog put to sleep. During our stay but paul was very kind and sympathetic. Confirmed Purchaser (10 January 2015)
We did not find the heating satisfactory, as it tended to come on at odd times and this meant that in the evenings it could be cold, although there was an electric fire in the sitting room. This is perhaps a small complaint and generally we enjoyed our stay very much. It is most certainly very dog friendly. Malcolm (01 November 2014)
This is a very small bungalow not suitable for 4 adults.too far from the beach & amenities . nice safe garden for pets , owners couldn't have been more friendly & helpful , paul could get a job with the tourist board he is a mind of information. Overall enjoyed the holiday. Jean from Heywood (25 October 2014)
Lovely property, good location, close to hunstanton, very quiet area, totally enclosed garden for dogs Confirmed Purchaser (20 September 2014)
Nice quiet location. The accommodation provided everything required. Jill from Coventry (06 September 2014)
The bungalow itself was in good order and equipped with everything we needed for a family holiday and is located in a well-kept and very quiet estate of retirement properties. . . we were a little disappointed in how far it was to get to the beach. even when following the owner’s advice it was not ‘a short’ walk to the beach, more like a 15 minute walk along a grass verge besides a busy road. This took longer when returning as it was up hill all of the way. This made it too far to comfortably walk there when carrying shopping or when taking the amount of stuff needed to spend a few hours messing about on the beach with your family. Because of this we ended up having to drive and pay for parking in old hunstanton more than we would have liked. . there are some lovely villages and miles and miles of sandy beaches within easy driving distance of this bungalow, so from that respect it was a convenient base to go exploring. Paul the owner was very friendly and it felt that if we had any problems with the property then it would be ok to call him and he’d get it sorted. Jeremy from Oxford (30 August 2014)
We didn't find any internet connection. Hurrah!!. would have liked a shaver plug in the bathroom -but it didn't really matter. Everything else we needed was there in pristine condition and fine comfort. We also much appreciated the owners' willing provision of our special need - (a drying rack for damp sailing gear) - we felt we were welcome guests and liked it!. drive space was first class and parking was a doddle.. nicely quiet with approachable folk in the neighbourhood.. all in all, we had a very comfortable week with plenty to see and do in and around hunstanton and a decent night's sleep every time. Nigel from Lancashire (23 August 2014)
The bungalow was very suitable for our needs and the garden was very secure for dogs. Karen from Brackley (09 August 2014)
A very well kept bungalow in a quiet position within 20 minutes walk to the coast an amenities. Very well equipped and well kept gardens. John from Welwyn (02 August 2014)
Our holiday at springtide was exceptional. Everything about the cottage was perfect. Superbly equipped, and very comfortable and clean. In a quiet area it was just the right distance from both the seaside and the many interesting places that norfolk has to offer. We were provided with lots of guidance as to where to go. All four of us would definitely visit the cottage again. Roger from Tiptree (26 July 2014)
We loved staying at springtide it was a lovely bungalow & had everything we wanted. Hunstanton was only a 20 minute walk away & so dog friendly. We had a wonderful holiday & will definately be staying there again next year. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about this accommodation & the couple who own it will do everything they can to make sure you have a pleasant stay Dawn from Romford Essex (19 July 2014)
Needs updating a bit old fashion David from West Yorkshire (12 July 2014)
I don't think hunstanton was for us as there is very little to see and do unless you are prepared to travel at least 30 miles to see anything. . the bungalow we stayed in was comfortable apart from a shower with no pressure and a toilet that refused to flush until you worked out its quirky way of working. Neither of which spoilt our enjoyment of this lovely bungalow on a beautiful and friendly estate. Neil from Ipswich (21 June 2014)
The property is delightful but if the curtains were thicker in the double bedroom it would score a 10. As it stands the morning sun will wake you early unless you bring an eye mask with you. the owners can do nothing about the distance from shop and pub though which means using the car as it is too far to walk. otherwise a 10 would be the score for location. we are inclined to hire springtide again in the future so that says it all. Laurence from Kesgrave (07 June 2014)
Bungalow was excellent. I would this to anyone with an a1 rating. Frank from High Wycombe (24 May 2014)
Enjoyed our stay & the local areas lots to do & nice walks with dog. Sarah from Sleaford (22 March 2014)
Had a fab holiday in a clean, fully equipped holiday house. Would visit again. Clare from Derby (16 November 2013)
A very clean and comfortable bungalow. Very well equipped and with a good size television in a cosy lounge. Plenty of space for two and good storage cupboards. It provides a good base for touring the north norfolk coast, with plenty of bird watching available. Hunstanton is a pleasant town, with a choice of restaurants, even off-season. We will consider returning in future and would recommend this base for holidays. Trevor from Nottingham (09 November 2013)
A couple of days before we were due to go to the cottage, I called the owner as he had to give us the details. I asked about towels and he said not to worry as they supplied them and we definitely would not need to bring our own. when we got there we were supplied with hand towels - 6 to be precise - which were not suitable for taking a shower as we had to use 2 per shower. we noticed that they had cut a bath towel (not a bath sheet) in half and sewn the end they had cut to form a seam. Unfortunately they left a pin in one end and my friend got 'stabbed' by the pin. luckily it was in her leg and not in her eye!! also there was a really old blanket on the dining room table as opposed to a table cloth, which I would not go near as I had visions of them taking it off one of the beds and put straight on the table! disgusting! also he asked me not to use all the beds -there were three beds and only two of us were staying, which led me to believe that if one of them did not look like it had been used, they probably would not have changed the sheets. if I have paid for the cottage, as far as I am concerned, I can use every bed that is in it!! definatley would not go back to this cottage. was also misinformed about how close we were to the centre of hunstanton!! no way would I go back here!! Chris from London (12 October 2013)
The bungalow was clean, tidy and well furnished. The garden is particularly pleasant being well sheltered from any wind and having the sun in the garden for most of the day. It is also within easy walking distance of the beach. Definitely a place we'll consider staying at in the future! Malcolm from Felixstowe (05 October 2013)
