Amazing. Thank you for the fabulous welcome pack. Very clean also. Sarah from Leicester (22 July 2017)
Really nice cottage, pleasant surrondings, cottage had everything we wanted Shirley from Dartford (15 July 2017)
To be honest, the beds are not very comfortable: the mattresses could do with being replaced, preferably with some that are not as hard. the shower head could do with either descaling or replacing, and the shower drain needs to be declogged as it doesn't drain very well: mr muscle would do the trick! also, the owners need to remember with a self catering place that there needs to be somewhere to store food: there is just about every bit of equipment you need, but leaves all the cupboards fairly full! the welcome pack was phenomenal: the best we have had in over 17 years of booking self catering accommodation, and the location is stunning. would love an umbrella to provide a bit of shade in the garden. Aude from Watford (01 July 2017)
Excellent base to explore the countryside and seaside. Beautiful location and amazing cottage, fully kitted out. would definitely recommend staying here. Candace from Burton Upon Trent (15 June 2017)
Lovely comfortable cottage in a super quiet location. the best welcome pack I have ever experienced including newly laid eggs from the owners hens. perfect touch. we couldn't have wished for a more relaxing experience with a very good selection of entertainment options in the cottage. Extremely clean and linen of exceptional standard. Location very good for exploring north norfolk. will definitely visit again. Marilyn from Worksop (19 May 2017)
Very well maintained property. Home from home with all you needed. High standard of cleanliness. Excellent welcome pack. Good location for exploring north norfolk, would go back again. Confirmed Guest (15 May 2017)
South view is a really lovely cottage and it has everything for a truly relaxing stay. It is cosy, so very comfortable, extremely well equipped and clean and the welcome pack is second to none. With a very good local pub only a few minutes walk away and all the attractions of the north norfolk coast on the doorstep south view is an ideal base in an ideal location. John from Tenterden (01 April 2017)
We arrived on a rainy afternoon and were greeted with a table full of goodies to welcome us. there were, in fact, a lot of goodies left for us around the cottage, including some delicious home made cakes. the perfect welcome. the cottage was just perfect. we were amazed by the amount of room there was. every room was well decorated and the kitchen had every item you might need. it felt very homely and welcoming. we loved the playstation games and the jigsaw puzzles too. . . the cottage is in a very quiet location and is perfectly located to visit all the local towns easily. we visited cromer, sheringham and horsey, where we saw the wonderful seals on the beach. we also stopped off in great yarmouth for chips and a walk. although it was early season and not everything was open, it was actually nice to have the place to ourselves, almost. We took a trip to felbrigg hall which is a very short drive away. it was a glorious day and we loved the place both inside and out. a drive to the local norfolk wildlife trust reserve proved to be a very enjoyable and relaxing day. A trip to cromer should also include a visit to shelley's pie and mash shop. we were lucky enough to be there when the north norfolk railway opened again for the year. a trip on the steam train is a must. there are lots of lovely tea shops dotted around the area which are well worth a visit, especially in west runton. . there were little details in the cottage that just made it feel special. for me it was the jar of birdseed left for us to feed the birds and the radio in the dining room which made it feel very homely. also some binoculars in the living room to watch the local wildlife. . . the cottage is such a wonderful place. we felt at home as soon as we arrived. I would highly recommend a stay here. it's well placed for visiting towns around north norfolk, but tucked away enough to give you a quiet, relaxing holiday. we'd love to go back later in the year if possible. a very relaxing holiday helped by the wonderful surroundings. Helen (04 March 2017)
This is a beautiful cosy cottage, very well maintained and with a fantastic welcome pack. It has all the home comforts and is spotlessly clean. It is really well equipped for both adults and children, with a ps2, lots of dvds and some games and books. The area is lovely with lots to do within a short drive. There is no large outdoor space for children to play in (which we knew when booking) but the small garden and patio would be a very nice spot for sitting outside on a sunny day. Andrew from Manchester (22 February 2017)
Lovely, comfortable cottage. We were 2 adults and 3 teenagers and spent half term week here. Having a separate dining/kitchen space was ideal for our sixth formers revising for a levels as was the second tv in the snug. As others have said the cottage was spotlessly clean and the welcome pack extremely generous. Favourite moments- snuggling up on the sofa in front of the woodburner with rain and sleet outside.. whilst a few days later I could sit on the bench outside in the sun!lots to do in the area and the local pub is another bonus-only a few minutes walk away. Angelika from Ipswich (17 February 2017)
Lovely cottage. there was a very generous welcome pack including wine and chocolates. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it. Linda from Norwich (10 February 2017)
Despite only living a 40 minutes' drive away, we decided to book a weekend here for a bit of respite, after experiencing a horrible couple of months. . . the cottage is absolutely stunning. I cannot fault one thing about it. The owners had left so many goodies for us, including wine, beer, butter, milk, cheese, eggs and homemade cakes! our children were provided beth toys and winnie the pooh bath towels, and there was a huge selection of games and dvds to choose from, had we so wished. . we are definitely going to come back. It was just the perfect retreat. Thank you. Gemma from Dereham (23 January 2017)
Superbly maintained, very well equipped, clean, comfortable and with great owners. Richard from Nottingham (20 January 2017)
We had such a great few days staying at this gorgeous cottage. Everything was just perfect. highly recommend this place and will be back. Thank you to the owners for the lovely welcome goodies. Elaine from St Neots, Cambs (02 January 2017)
Beautiful cottage that is very well appointed with everything you could want. welcome pack was brilliant, with some very nice treats. cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival. we really enjoyed our winter evenings by the fire, for which coal and wood is always on hand. Chris from Southampton (17 December 2016)
The cottage was simply lovely, a real home from home, and very clean. It was catered for with everything that you could need and a lot of thought had gone into it. There was a lovely welcome pack when we arrived, with fresh eggs from their own chickens, wine, cakes, plus lots more. The roll top bath was great if you fancied a soak. There was a nice pub with good food a short distance away, and an easy walk. Plenty of room for a family, with an extra living room with a tv or for somewhere quiet to read. We loved it and it was the best cottage we have stayed in. Elaine from Camberley, Surrey (05 November 2016)
Lovely cosy cottage. Highly recommended! Confirmed Guest (29 October 2016)
One of the best cottages we have stayed in, fabulous welcome pack ( not just a pint of milk and a few biscuits). . clean, cosy, comfortable and in a lovely quiet location..what more do you require for a break. . thank you Anna from Biggleswade (15 October 2016)
A lovely, comfortable cottage to stay in to visit north norfolk. Jenny from Baldock (23 September 2016)
A beutiful stunning cottage that we didn't want to leave. The lady left us food an cakes an wine as a welcome. . fantastic place and the owners where just perfect lovely people Amanda from Stevenage (19 September 2016)
Our second holiday at this cottage completely lived up to our memories of last year. Generous number of welcome provisions, comfortable accommodation, peaceful surroundings and convenient location. We recommend it to everyone and will book again if we return to the area Helen from Newcastle Upon Tyne (03 September 2016)
Lovely cottage, beautifully presented and with the most amazing welcome package. . good location, close to sheringham, cromer etc. . would recommend more for adults and older children due to the lack of enclosed garden and proximity to the road. . a more powerful shower would be nice, but this was just a minor niggle. Victoria from Cambridge (27 August 2016)
Brilliant! the best cottage we have ever stayed in! Debi from Milton Keynes (13 August 2016)
Absolutely super cottage! perfect for families and with everything that you could need. The owners are very welcoming and on arrival at the cottage you really couldn't ask for a better welcome pack. We were also made to feel very welcome at the village pub and the food was delicious. We would highly recommend! Victoria from Lincoln (06 August 2016)
Lovely cottage in a good location. Had a fabulous time and would definitely like to visit again. Beth from Bingley (04 June 2016)
When a well-rated property lives up to, and exceeds, its reputation, it is always very satisfying. south view was a lovely place to stay, immaculately clean and possibly the best equipped rental cottage we have stayed in. quiet, peaceful location, yet close to some great places to visit. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this cottage whole-heartedly. Thanks to heather and her team - and especially for posting back to us a small item we had left behind. Richard from Nottingham (28 May 2016)
Very good location for north norfolk coast. Good walking country. Very comfortable cottage. Great welcome pack. Bedrooms a bit small with big furniture. Stubbed toes if not careful. Parking by front door very tight. Can park infront of garage but may block drive for others using shared drive. Parking on road quite dangerous at night Michael from Stockport (30 April 2016)
Excellent property just a few miles south of sheringham and in a great location for exploring the area. property was very clean on arrival with a wonderful welcome pack. felt very much at home straight away and didn't want for anything during our stay. very highly recommended. Pat from Newark (16 April 2016)
A wonderful and peaceful cottage that is very well equipped and has a lot of thoughtful touches Charles from Spalding (09 April 2016)
Lovely cottage, immaculate through out. Amazing welcome package. Thank you ! Alison from Cambridge (01 April 2016)
We had a great stay at south view cottage. It is a lovely, comfortable cottage with everything provided to make it a real home from home. It's in a great position for heading out for the day, with sheringham and cromer close by. We also walked to sheringham park from the cottage, nice to leave the car behind for the day! the best thing was heading home after a great day out, to a cosy, warm cottage! would recommend this holiday home to anyone. Katherine from Swinton, Rotherham (26 March 2016)
Brilliant place to stay, would happily recommend to friends and would happily stay again Alex from London (19 March 2016)
Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean, fantastic welcome pack. One of the nicest we have ever stayed in, and very well located for trips to sheringham and cromer. Mandy from Boston (15 March 2016)
We had read the reviews about this cottage and have to say they were spot on. very well equipped, warm and cosy, comfortable, extremely clean and had everything we needed and more! plentiful supply of kindling, logs and coal for the burner in the lounge, the welcome pack was great with more than the basics to make a cuppa. . west beckham is a very small village but only a short drive from sheringham so was handy for getting out and about. we visited early march and it was very quiet despite the cottage being by the village road. the pub in the village serves good food and we had a very warm welcome when we went. one of the best cottages we have stayed in! Karen from Skipton (12 March 2016)
Fantastic cottage cannot wait to go again when we get a chance Lorraine from Norwich (29 February 2016)
Such a beautiful cottage with all the equipment you could need. The owners had left us with essential food too which was a lovely surprise. Would definitely stay here again, it is a lovely cottage which was perfect for us with our 5 month old daughter. Would highly recommend! Jenny from Burnham, Bucks (14 December 2015)
We had a fabulous time. The cottage was spotless and there was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us. The wood burner was wonderful, we had windy rainy weather and starting a roaring fire when we got in was one of our highlights. Local pubs and restaurants very good. We had a lovely relaxing week, thank you so much to heather who was only a phone call away when needed and always happy to help Lesley from Ware, Hertfordshire (21 November 2015)
A really lovely cottage with everything you could want. Very thoughtful welcome pack. This was a lovely place to spend a cosy week and in a great location for easily getting to a lot of places. Rebecca from Portsmouth (14 November 2015)
One of the nicest cottages we have stayed in over the years. A very generous pack was provided and much appreciated. Would certainly recommend this property. Michael from Rayleigh (10 October 2015)
Excellent cottage, very clean and generous welcome pack. Confirmed Guest (12 September 2015)
One of the best cottages I have ever stayed in. A perfect size for our family of 4 and so comfortable and welcoming. Everything we could need was provided and the generous welcome pack went far beyond essential groceries such as bread and milk to include juice, cheese, chocolate, wine and homemade cakes and scones. So good we booked for next year before we had even finished our stay. Helen from Newcastle (29 August 2015)
Lovely cottage in a great location! Customer 42 from Suffolk (15 August 2015)
A superb place to stay- the welcomepack was second to none which was an excellent bonus- just what you want after a long journey. . . the cottage is very comfortable, tidy and clean. Heather has made every effort for you to enjoy yourself! . . it's genuinely ideally situated for trips out to the local beaches or other points of interest. i'd recommend langhams glass in fakenham where you can blow your own whisky glass :-) Simon from Tyne &Amp; Wear (08 August 2015)
South view cottage is a really lovely property and made our holiday. Although it is a little but more expensive than others it is worth every penny. The whole house was spotlessly clean on arrival and as for the welcome pack, let's just say the fridge looked like we'd already been shopping. Everything had been thought of. Milk, eggs, bread, butter, wine, beer, drinks for the kids, chocolate and more. There was even afternoon tea laid out for us. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for a family of 4, including little ones (and they take up more space with all of their paraphernalia than adults). the owner was very pleasant and amenable on the phone. The house itself is on a little lane and although it is a very short walk to the village pub (which is also very nice) the lane can get busy with traffic. we didn't get to use the garden as much as we would have liked due to the weather but there is a bbq and outdoor furniture to use and even giant outdoor games for the kids. There is plenty to do in the area and south view cottage was and ideal base for our holiday. All in all an exceptional property and we would definitely recommend. Kirstie from Frome, Somerset (01 August 2015)
A lovely property, the owner has thought of everything to make this a very comfortable holiday cottage. Really helpful instructions, a delicious welcome tea, extremely clean. No complaints at all. Definitely recommended. Rowena from Derbyshire (25 July 2015)
Fantastic property, amazing welcome pack and a beautiful home. We look forward to returning again. Claire from Glossop (18 July 2015)
Excellent welcome pack Graham (20 June 2015)
Beautiful cottage, in a superb location. First class welcome pack. In having cottage holidays for the past 20 years, it is one of our best! Tracey from Canterbury (06 June 2015)
Clean comfortable cottage owner takes the extra step with welcome pack very much appreciated. Confirmed Guest from Berkeley (30 May 2015)
One of the best cottages we have stayed in in this price range. The welcome basket was very welcome after a long drive with two children under two and we were able to sit down and enjoy tea and home made cake and scones while we browsed the activities on offer locally to decide what to do over the following week. . the equipment was well thought out and thorough and the owners were extremely helpful and quick to sort any questions we had. . the location was perfect for us -being very close drive to the coast and town of sheringham while being totally peaceful and rural and with the pub in walking distance. . the accommodation was very comfortable and the second lounge came in very handy for our thomas the tank engine mad toddler who could wind down with his own personal dvd at the end of the day! . it is a compact cottage but was more than adequate for our family of four and the garden was perfect for enjoying the sunshine between out excursions. . highly recommend this property. Rebecca from Staffordshire (16 May 2015)
Everything was immaculate, lovely setting and not far from sherringham park. Very generous welcome pack. Jackie from Buxton (08 May 2015)
A lovely cottage, immaculately clean and with some really thoughtful touches such as lots of treats waiting for us and a vase of fresh flowers! we felt very welcome and would stay again if we're in this part of the country. Kellie from Sutton (03 April 2015)
Exquisite cottage, wonderful welcome, perfect. Graham from Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire. (27 March 2015)
This holiday home is just what we wanted. The owner made every effort to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable and went the extra mile to achieve this. This is a must holiday home, for peaceful tranquility and comfort. lovely! Gary from Barnsley (20 March 2015)
A first class property which is equiped to a high level with every detail catered for including a dynamic welcome pack. Great location for a quite break with accessability to all essential facilities within a couple of miles. Excelent quality and value would reccomend any day Martin from Wymington (09 March 2015)
A truly beautiful cottage and a wonderful stay. Had everything we needed and more with a generous welcome pack! we are planning on making this visit a yearly trip and will definitely be back! only tiny thing we think would be of benefit is to change the matress on the double bed as it has a few springs that are uncomfortable. However this would and will not stop us from going back again. We are already planning when we can make it in 2016. Ruth from St Albans (28 February 2015)
Lovely comfy and well equipped cottage in great spot for exploring norfolk. Awesome welcome pack. Richard from Nottingham (13 February 2015)
A lovely cottage in a great location. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Also the welcome pack is amazing. Steven from Peterborough (18 December 2014)
The welcome pack was very generous and considerate and helped to make us feel spoilt! Debra from Cambridge (01 December 2014)
A neat, clean, tidy, convenient, well equipped cottage. The welcome pack was superb, the best we have ever received by far. The eggs from the owners hens were particularly tasty. Graham from Woodrow (22 November 2014)
Generous welcome pack and excellent accommodation with a home from home feel. Content of cottage seemed to be considered down to the finest detail with quality towels and bedding. (only 2 niggles were that the shower was lacking in power and the mattress on the double bed a bit lumpy but only comparing to what we are used to).this is the reason I didn't mark overall rating as 10. I would definitely recommend this property. Carol from Northampton (10 October 2014)
Home from home, every thing you want for a really good holiday from the great welcome pack to the location every thing was perfect. Judith from Solihull, West Midlands (04 October 2014)
