Lovely family property, nice views but could do with shrubs at bottom of garden being reduced in height.local bus service was excellent for getting along the coast.very enjoyable week.
Trevor from Bournemouth (11 August 2017)

Great place to stay. Nice cottage, could do with a little modernisation. No wifi an issue for the kids, not so much the adults, a great escape!!
Mark from Saffron Walden (04 August 2017)

Overall it was a good holiday. The biggest drawback was a lack of wi-fi and mobile signal. This prevented family and friends keeping in touch. We took our two dogs on holiday with us and most areas we visited were dog friendly. The accommodation was ok but not fully suited to our sleeping requirements. This was not the fault of the accommodation, but ours for not realising the bedroom arrangements. One of our adults had to sleep in a bunk bed and the main bedroom was a twin bedded not a double.
Dave from Hereford (14 July 2017)

Lovely cottage, stunning view, very comfortable and clean
Confirmed Guest (12 May 2017)

This is a lovely cottage with a great outlook from the (shared) back garden. It was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped for a holiday cottage. However, it could do with some updating, especially in the downstairs bedrooms and a curtain at the front door wouldn't go amiss as anyone passing can see you as you travel from bedroom to bathroom. Parking was also a bit of a problem as it is just on road parking in a street full of holiday cottages. Overall we had a great week and would happily return.
Sue from Bedford (14 April 2017)

A relaxing weekend in a lovely cottage. Great location close to the sea and local amenities. Very good value for money. Would happily stay again .
Maria from Cambridge (27 February 2017)

Brilliant location. Some of the décor is out dated especially the sofas, upstairs beds and the down stairs bathroom. There needs a storage heater in the upstairs bedroom as this room can be very cold.
Vanessa from Bacton (17 February 2017)

Great location but property is quite outdated.
Confirmed Guest (12 December 2016)

We love the place and are going again in 2017. Very clean and warm with everything you could need for holiday. Lovely walks and plenty of places nearby to visit.
Alison from Milton Keynes (11 November 2016)

Perfect location
Martin from Suffolk (31 October 2016)

Prefect location for exploring a range of interests
Ruth from Colchester (03 October 2016)

Lovely comfortable cottage, good food at local pub, handy village shop.
Confirmed Guest (23 September 2016)

We had another very enjoyable stay in sky lark. It is a very comfortable place to holiday in. The weather was perfect and we had many enjoyable local walks. We are looking forward to coming again next month.
Carole from Essex (16 September 2016)

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful village. The cottage is well equipped, clean and comfortable but would probably be a bit cramped if six were staying. Weybourne is a great little village with a well stocked local store and an excellent pub. My only criticisms would be that the cottage could do with a slight face lift and wifi would really help given the location. That being said, I would recommend to anyone, especially if they have dogs!
Pete from Chorley (26 August 2016)

Could do with wi fi
John from Martlesham Heath (12 August 2016)

Well furnished cottage, ten minutes amble to the pebble beach, two minutes from shop and pub in the delightful village of weybourne. Cottage has all amenities needed, except wifi which would be useful. Kids can let off steam in the large grassy area out back. All members in our party expressed desire to come back another time which is fair praise.
Michael from Leicester (29 July 2016)

A great location, but sky lark is getting tired and needs a little money spending on it to bring it up to a good standard. Car parking can be a problem as there is only a limited amount of space on the road and lots of rental properties. We arrived to find that the refuse bin, the only small sized bin on the road full and would be emptied the day we left so nowhere to put the refuse. . on the plus side the view from the conservatory is good and the garden useable. Although not used while we were there a bbq is available to use in the rear garden that looks out to the sea. Wifi would be a plus in this property as in most of the area as most of the area mobile signal is at best poor.
Pete from Sheffield (10 June 2016)

We had an excellent week with all the advantages of being at home in this lovely location. We are keen walkers and loved our early morning walks with the dog along the cliff top. Having two bathrooms really added to the comfort of the cottage. National trust properties and the north norfolk railway made for good days out. There were also good painting opportunities. The shop and wifi café is a great asset to weybourne too.
Penny from York (08 April 2016)

Had a nice few days the cottage had everything we needed except broadband amazing how much you miss it, if it had that it would have allowed us to catch up on the internet with places to go.
Roy from Leicester (01 April 2016)

Excellent location and property
Martin from Sudbury (21 March 2016)

Really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is well placed with a nice village shop and pub just around the corner, and close to holt/ tourist attractions. The property itself is lovely and well equipped. The only downsides were the lack of wi fi, which was a real pain as mobile signal was poor and the fact that the house could get cold at times. We had hoped to make better use of the conservatory but it was very cold and the heater in there was ineffective. Our last day was warmer which meant we could use it. We would stay again in the summer.
Vicky from Milton Keynes (11 March 2016)

We had another relaxing stay in sky lark. it is warm, comfortable and very clean. a lovely place from which to explore the norfolk coastline and countryside. We can not wait to return.
Carole from Saffron Walden (23 October 2015)

Excellent location to totally relax. Superb views.
Martin from Sudbury (19 October 2015)

This was the second time we had stayed at skylark and we loved it..again. Wonderful spot for dog walking and close enough for trips out. Only drawback is no wi-fi. People do want to get away for complete break but technology is in every part of our lives these days and to not have internet access is a little behind the times. Will not stop us from booking again though !
Alison from Milton Keynes (16 October 2015)

Our fourth stay at sky lark, really comfortable and an ideal position to tour that part of the norfolk coast.
Confirmed Guest from Hertfordshire (02 October 2015)

Unfortunately the couple we were sharing with wouldn't stay at the cottage as they couldn't bear the smell and dust and dirt. . my husband and I couldn't find another place to stay so we cleaned the cottage as much as we could - we went to the area to walk for 6 days with our group of 22 (5 mile walkers )
Peter from Lincolnshire (18 September 2015)

We could not find the front door, and when we did could not put in the numbers to collect the key as the light in the corridor did not work (this was replaced, but still seems sporadic . . we were two couples in late 70s with two dogs. elderly couples had no problem with steps and beams, and the dogs loved the location - being let out from the sun room very useful!. . there was almost a complete dearth of light bulbs that were working when we arrived, but sheila the cleaner changed some. . . we had a most relaxing time, walking to the beach and village shop both very handy was a boon.
Elizabeth from Wolverhampton (11 September 2015)

A great cottage kept in wonderful condition, provided with all the equipment we could possibly need. Shared garden a great assett, especially when you have 4 boys aged 7 - 11 to keep occupied. The cottage actually bigger than the photos make it look.
Brett from Northamptonshire (07 August 2015)

Nice week in lovely surroundings - weather could have been better. Open plan garden not very dog friendly.
Alan from Harrietsham, Kent (22 May 2015)

Excellent! very peaceful and relaxing.
Martin from Sudbury (11 May 2015)

Great cottage in a lovely village. Cottage was well equipped. Beautiful quiet location with great view.
Confirmed Guest (10 April 2015)

Enjoyable
Confirmed Guest (27 March 2015)

We had a wonderful time. The cottage was perfect for our family. thank you so very much! :)
Rebecca from Bedford (20 February 2015)

Brilliant stay. Fantastic location, no issues
Alma from Peterborough (03 November 2014)

Very cosy property, and the conservatory is a great asset. we felt there could have been better directions (it took about 10 mins to find the property once we were on the correct road) and there is a lack of information about essential facilities, ie one of the fuses blew and I had to ring mr oliver on his mobile, (he was in france, not sure what that is going to cost me!) to find out where the fuse box was, also we didn't realise that the storage heaters had been turned off at the wall switches so that would have been helpful information. overall a nice place to stay but could do with a real spring clean.
Teresa from Nottinghamshire (10 October 2014)

Had a great time, cottage quiet but in good location for east coast. About 5 minutes walk to stony beach. Cooker bit hard to control but otherwise all ok. View good, even saw a muntjac!. even weather was good!
Frances from Leicestershire (12 September 2014)

We were unaware that the property was part of a large number of private and rented properties with a shared garden.
Peter from Hatton (15 August 2014)

I would mainly stay again for the location. Cottage itself alittle dated and tired.
Tina from Gravesend (04 July 2014)

Dated furniture etc but very clean and comfortable. Good views and surrounding's, good location. Directions should read, park in road and walk to skylark cottage.
Alan from Maidstone (16 May 2014)

We had a lovely relaxing holiday at skylark. We spent most of our time there in the sunny conservatory. We did find the shower in the main bedroom en suite a bit tricky as it was very difficult to find the exact right spot on the controller between being scalded or frozen. Members of our party found the downstairs double bed quite hard. There was no bbq as advertised and wiifi would be useful. on the whole, the house was well equipped and a great base for exploring the beautiful coastline.
Julie from Stoke On Trent (09 May 2014)

One of the best we have stayed in, comfortable beds, great showers. A multitude of handy things especially in the kitchen. The conservatory was lovely to use as it wasn't great weather.
Rosemary from Kent (02 May 2014)

We had an excellent holiday. The location was beautiful and we were impressed with the cottage. although 'dog friendly' the communal gardens made that aspect slightly difficult but all in all very good value. Advertised as sleeping 6 - I would clarify and say that it is more suitable for 4 adults an two children rather than 6 adults.
Richard from Bury St Edmunds (18 April 2014)

This is a lovely place and exactly what I was looking for. complete peace and quiet. the accommodation is spacious and comfortable and amazingly well equipped. there is a good amount of local information in a folder. it is a shame it wasn't warmer outside as I think the conservatory would be a glorious place to have breakfast with lovely views across the fields to the sea. we took the dogs walking on the beach, it is very pebbly and a good work out for the legs. bakers and larners of holt is a fantastic place to visit and not far to drive for more extensive choice of food and wine and for essentials and some local produce the little shop on the corner of the road near the close is handy with a friendly lady to help. the only thing that would be a little more helpful is some more extensive directions as the property is tucked away and it took me ten minutes to find in some hefty wind and rain which wasn't fun. a little map showing the location of the property in the close would be ideal as there are several similar looking places and although the directions tell you to go past certain places, you can't read the names in the dark.
Julie from Suffolk (03 February 2014)

Well located with an excellent shop and pub nearby. Comfy, cosy and well equipped. Lovely comservatory and outside space short walk to the sea and clifftop walks. We went for christmas and the cottage was decorated for us with a tree and there were also lots of goodies. Entrance a bit unprepossessing on first inspection and also a bit hard to find, but once you're there not really an issue. We had a lovely time.
Chris from Doncaster (28 December 2013)

Lovely, comfortable cottage with a pleasant walk to the beach and corner shop close by. Well equipped but instructions lacking for cooker and tv. We found it very difficult to find the cottage in the dark, the directions in the information really need to be improved. The gardens are not communal.
Claire from Trowbridge (11 October 2013)

Every thing you need and more, deck chairs.bbq,games.this cottage is the best we have stayed in the only thing that would not go a miss is fencing at the back for pets.
Beverley from Nottinghamshire (27 September 2013)

View from the conservatory, love it, lovely night and day. Sea constantly changing colour. Wildlife
Carolyn from Newcastle Under Lyme (28 Jun 2013)

Good location
Ben from Colchester (14 Jun 2013)

The location was great, lovely garden and beautiful views.
Alison from Bedfordshire (28 May 2013)

Great location for exploring north norfolk. Super cottage, lots of space, comfortable with. Lovely views. Area good for bird watching
Lynn from Hitchin (13 May 2013)

Lovely unspoilt village, friendly people, nice shop. Convenient for visiting all of north norfolk. Welcomed having conservatory overlooking the sea especially at this time of the year. Close to coast path - good walk into sherringham to catch the train back.
Sue from Totnes (19 April 2013)

Very homely well equipped cottage-the wood burner was the icing on the cake!
Marion from Leicester (18 March 2013)

Excellent location for access to the north norfolk coast.
Julie from London (07 January 2013)

Very well designed property in quiet location with views of the sea. Kitchen excellent, very well equipped. Comfortable beds, quality bed linen, fluffy towels, plenty of cleaning materials if needed. Close to village store run by friendly owners and staff.
Honor from Loughborough (28 September 2012)

Had to buy pegs to hang out baby’s washing. Would have appreciated a high chair. Took time to find the dustbin.Very dark in entrance to cottage, if there was a light, it wasn’t working.
Customer 55 (September 2012)

Lovely cottage with beautiful views. Great base fit exploring the north norfolk coast. Plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery.
Katy from Northampton (24 August 2012)

Wonderful views, good open space, cottage very comfortable and felt homely. Had a great holiday and would return without question
Sherree from Rochester (10 August 2012)

Lots of room. kitchen well equipped. Good conservatory room and garden. Lovely upstairs bedroom and good shower. Good shop in village. Dogs welcome- much appreciated.
Richard from Ludlow (08 June 2012)

Comfortable cottage, main bedroom lovely but second bedroom very poor with no bedside tables or lamps. We enjoyed the sea view and had endless discussions about the wind farm! We didn’t find the garden chairs until the last day which was a pity, they were locked up outside. A notice to this effect would help. Overall a very pleasant cottage.
Customer 59 (June 2012)

Excellent conservatory and outlook. nice to have a dishwasher too, which was not in the original spec. . weybourne is a lovely place for bird watching, and also rabbits running about in the field below the bungalow.
Dianne from Hayes (01 June 2012)

Nice location, good accomodation, easy access to coast and love0ly surrounding countryside, access to shops at Sherringham and Cromer is a short drive.
Customer 61 (May 2012)

Very close to beach and shop and pub. Very clean cottage and comfortable, fantastic views.
Lisa from Luton (27 April 2012)

This is a very fine location and indeed our second visit to this property.
Customer 63 (June 2011)

where we stayed just need some out side lights so you can see where your going a long the footpath the cottage we stayed in was very nice it was the first time we booked and stayed in a cottage very good.
Customer 64 (February 2011)

Very spacious property in an excellent location. Very close to beach and good pub.
Customer 65 (November 2010)

Fully equipped - like being at home, comfortable and generally more than adequate accommodation. Our 2nd time of visiting.
Customer 66 (June 2010)

Couldn’t wish for a better property.
Customer 67 (June 2010)

Comfortable and roomy, lovely outlook.
Customer 68 (June 2010)

Better than described in the information. Very well equipped and some basic provisions were left in the cottage i.e. cleaning materials and condiments, which helped.
Customer 69 (May 2010)

Very well equipped with an excellent woodburner. Good views towards the sea.
Customer 70 (February 2010)

Very good location close to the sea and resorts of Cromer wells and holt with plenty of attractions shop and pub close by.
Customer 71 (December 2009)

Very close to the beach, conservatory with lovely views, central location on the coast.
Customer 72 (August 2009)

The local pub offers excellent food but fairly pricey. The cottage was very good value for money. The small added extras like towels food items left for our us was much appreciated. The only problem we experienced was the open garden arrangement, with other families bringing their pets with them it was a little disturbing to the children.
Customer 73 (July 2009)

It was a pleasant walk to the beach, about 10 minutes, along nice footpaths off the road. The kitchen was well supplied with cultery, crockery, pans etc. and the cooker and hob were great (touch controls).
Customer 74 (June 2009)

Interesting layout, clean and good decorative order, the upstairs bedroom was large, nicely furnished and had a lovely shower room. The conservatory gave open views of the sea in the distance and a large ’wild’ field (when it was not misty!), we saw a barn owl, a green woodpecker, a muntjac deer and lots of rabbits. The bird portraits in various rooms were a nice touch.
Customer 75 (June 2009)

Ideal walking location. Fantastic beaches in every direction.
Customer 76 (February 2009)

We thought the cottage was cosy, but still spacious enough for six of us and the two dogs. We were very pleased to discover how close we were to the beach and we enjoyed a lovely walk along the sands to Sheringham.
Customer 77 (November 2008)

It was a wonderful cottage with a great outlook of the sea. Tea rooms, shop & pub all within a couple of minutes walk. Lay in bed & watch the stars at night.
Customer 78 (October 2008)

The property was even better than the pictures and video.
Customer 79 (October 2008)

Cottage beautiful - area stunning and so close to the beach.
Customer 80 (April 2008)
