A comfortable cottage with everything we needed, the decor was a lovely mix of period and contemporary and the king size bed was super comfy. The tv was a bit temperamental but the wifi was very reliable. the only downside was the steep stairs in the cottage, we were aware of this when booking but I had injured my ankle since then so had to be very careful. Mundesley is a very good base for exploring all corners of norfolk but has plenty of sandy beaches and good amenities if you prefer to stay put, the beach cafe and the ship inn were our favourite places to eat. Nicola from Walton-On-Thames (04 August 2017)
Great place to stay, been back many times. . good location ,close to all amenities.o Vivienne from Nottingham (16 June 2017)
Enjoyed a relaxing holiday at jenny's cottage. . the cottage is quaint with some low ceilings in places so beware! . it was warm and had plenty of hot water. Plenty of basics like washing up liquid and loo roll although there were no extra bin bags. . both small gardens are sun-traps so as the weather was good they were great places to sit with a drink. Internet worked fine. Would definitely stay again. Catherine (07 April 2017)
We loved the proximity to the wonderful beach and it was very peaceful and quiet at night. Internet was intermittent at times. the kitchen was very well equipped. Deborah from Portsmouth (31 March 2017)
Excellent venue for walking the norfolk coast. Cottage excellent retreat to come back to. Would happily book again. Carolyn (03 March 2017)
What a fantastic half term break that my 14 year old son and I had, not even storm doris could dampen! . . from initial approach the cottage looks tiny however looks are clearly deceptive and the rooms whilst cosy are by no means small. . . it was a joy to be able to get up in the morning and take the dog for a walk on the beach, we found around 10am was a good time as the tide was out far enough for us to get in a great walk. . . the cottage is clean, comfortable and practical. a wonderful place to bring a 14 year old and a small dog. . . the furnishings are quality and in keeping with the period feel. the bed in the master bedroom was soft and snugly which may be an issue for those in favour of a firmer mattress but I loved it. The linen was freshly washed (smelled gorgeous) and of a good quality. . . the heating was very efficient with a plentiful supply of hot water upon demand. . . the teenager was "well impressed" with the speed of the internet and I was impressed we never lost any tv reception during the storm!. . plenty of everything you need equipment wise in the cottage and a great park just a few yards away. . . piece of advice..read the cottage manual before doing anything so unlike me you do not frustrate and aggravate yourself by trying to find the cutlery and crockery! . . there is a tesco express and petrol station on the way out of the village heading towards cromer but would encourage you to support local independent retailers. . we had some brilliant days in cromer, wells next the sea and best of all brancaster beach. our favourite meal out was at the foundry arms in northrepps. on the way home we stopped in wroxham for fish and chips at ken's and can heartily recommend dropping into wroxham barns for some supplies from the scrummy pig. . we really had a fabulous time and if hadn't already booked our other holidays for this year would have loved to have returned during the summer. . thank you Foley from Telford (24 February 2017)
A peaceful half-term break in a quiet village. enough on the doorstep to keep us entertained including a play area, skating-boarding bowl and crazy golf. on the whole the village is very dog-friendly. Good sandy/pebbly beach but unfortunately the colourful beach huts have been removed due to storm damage in recent years. . one niggle about the cottage - a bit sparse on some things I would expect from a rental cottage including no soap in the bathroom, on bin and little in the way of cleaning materials in the kitchen Bruce from Cambridge (28 October 2016)
Warm and welcoming cosy cottage. We had a lovely holiday and would love to return to jenny's cottage Tracy from Glasgow (21 October 2016)
Great comfortable, clean place in a very nice location. No problems. Lovely cafe about 50m down the road. Serves a wonderful breakfast. Would stay there again. Rebecca from Sydney (30 September 2016)
The cottage was in a lovely location but it took us half an hour to find it as the sat nav kept taking us the wrong way! a close-in map would be helpful. The village is perfect for a very low key holiday with only a couple of tourist shops. The beach is very clean and not too crowded. Michele from Ramsey (02 September 2016)
Excellent cottage in perfect location for a family holiday. Everything included that was needed. Anne from Everything Included That Was Needed. (12 August 2016)
Really enjoyed the cottage, close to the beach. We miss jenny's cottage. Confirmed Guest (05 August 2016)
Jenny's cottage is a home away from home, with a touch of luxury and style, but not fussy. Everything one needs is provided and the excellent location means the basic essentials are within a few minutes walk in the village. Easy access to north norfolk coast and local attractions. We stayed with our young dog and the garden is secure (although may be check fence height if you have a large/jumpy dog); the playing field is moments away; and the beach is five minutes walk. Very relaxing setting. Thanks for a lovely stay. Jan from Lincoln (29 July 2016)
Great location and well-equipped cottage. would stay there again. Dave from Fordingbridge (08 July 2016)
A beautiful cottage in a wonderful location, 5 mins walk to beach and village centre. very clean and comfortable with a safe secure garden for dogs! I would definitely stay at jennys cottage again, brilliant base for exploring the surrounding areas. Susan from Essex (17 June 2016)
Well equipt clean comfortable cottage. Close to the beach and village amenities of mundesley. We enjoyed our weekend break and would definitely book again. Heather from Nottingham (23 May 2016)
Stayed here last year ,loved it and came back again this year. Bedrooms are lovely. Very comfortable cottage. Love the dining room. We here lucky with the sun ,so had a great time visiting cromer and sheringham which are both close by. Will come back again. Vivienne from Stanford ,Nottingham (13 May 2016)
Great spot for families. the house had everything we needed and suited our needs well. the easy walk to the seafront was a big bonus. Confirmed Guest (02 May 2016)
My family have stayed at this cottage many times.it is in a fantastic location, the beach is just a few minutes walk as is the village with local shops & post office. The owners have clearly pulled out all the stops to make any stay as pleasant as possible.the cottage wants for nothing, you are very well catered for and need to bring little with you.it has plenty of parking with a lovely little garden which is a nice suntrap.best of all there is a waitrose supermarket in north walsham 4 miles away! Ian from Sleaford (29 April 2016)
Very pretty, clean and comfortable old cottage in the heart of the village. Alison from Cambridge (25 April 2016)
A delightful cottage close to the beautiful beach. I would stay here again. Anne from Hitchin (10 March 2016)
The cottage was clean and oh so warm for a very blustery week in mid february. It has been equipped with everything anyone could need, except a dish-washer! we felt almost at home such is the atmosphere. The village shops were close, with a very good selection of goods and everyone was welcoming and friendly. Lovely walks on the beach too. we were all sad to leave. Sue from Deal, Kent (19 February 2016)
Lovely time had by all, great location, cosy cottage. Marie from Hertfordshire (04 January 2016)
Lovely cottage . thank you for the christmas goodies Lynn from Dawlish (28 December 2015)
This is the second time we've spent the october half term at jenny's cottage and once again we had a great time. The cottage was very clean on arrival and had everything we could need for our holiday- the kitchen is well equipped, the living room is comfortable and as well as the tv there are books, games and dvd's. We particularly like the location of the cottage, with the sea front and beach just a minute's walk away across the park, and in the other direction all the shops you could want including the village butcher's and an excellent fish and chip shop. This is a characterful old building, so be prepared for the fact that the stairs are quite steep. We definitely plan to come back for a third time next year. Ed from Ipswich (30 October 2015)
Lovely cottage ideally close to the beach & childrens play park. Dog friendly which is great. Only disappointing element was that we were not given the logs for the woodburner we were promised. Marie from Wymondham (25 September 2015)
Lovely cottage ,felt at home straight away .great location, would stay again. Vivienne from Nottingham (04 September 2015)
Beautiful location, great parking and cottage well equipped. Let down by the cleanliness, after arrival I had to visit a supermarket to buy cleaning materials to clean the kitchen. Arriving to crumbs on the dining table from the previous occupants was disappointing. Laura from Kent (28 August 2015)
Our second visit to this cottage and definitely not our last. Jo from Lincoln (14 August 2015)
Lovely to be so near the sea, and very central for many places to visit Janice from Charing Kent (31 July 2015)
Great base, close to beach and park. Very pretty cottage. Jenny from Lichfield, Staffs (24 July 2015)
Fantastic holiday cottage in a superb location.we return to this cottage each year, the owners are very friendly, the cottage is in lovely clean condition.our children love this holiday home as does our labrador! Ian from Sleaford,Lincs (17 July 2015)
This beautiful cottage fulfilled our expectations and more. The location was perfect, very safe and quiet, including excellent security for dogs. The beds were extremely comfortable and we all wanted to take them home. The bath towels were big and fluffy, the bath amazing and the welcome cake yummy. Good selection of dvds and a wonderful games selection in the big trunk. Top marks for cleanliness, not a cobweb or spider in sight. Location perfect. Next to a quiet park with large play area, keep fit gadgets and area for skateboarding. Beach is about 1 minute away, beautiful and very clean. Top marks for a wonderful cottage and would highly recommend. Nicola from Shipley, West Yorkshire (06 April 2015)
A lovely cottage in a great location, minutes from beach, park, shops and cafes. We really enjoyed our stay here. Jennie from London (03 April 2015)
Nice cottage, stairs a bit steep. Previous visitors had written the shower was cold, but we had nice hot showers every morning, but shower was too low had to sit on edge of bath to wash hair. Beware of smoke alarm it's very sensitive! Lesley from Oxfordshire (20 March 2015)
Lovely cottage close to everything. The biggest and nicest bedroom we have stayed in on our cottage holidays. . the enclosed garden was fully enclosed, which isn't always the case, was great for the dog. Only a couple of tiny points. A second roll of toilet paper and a bar of soap or hand wash in the bathroom would have been appreciated. Also as it is a downstairs bathroom a torch in the bedroom would be a nice touch, rather than lighting the cottage up. Only shame for us is it's a friday start as we would definitely love to come back. Nigel from Peterborough (13 March 2015)
Lovely cottage, fabulous location, Allen from Derby (09 March 2015)
The cottage was lovely and in a great position. The only thing we found wrong was the lack of a pair of oven gloves but how picky is that lol. Would stay there again with no worries and highly recommend for a holiday getaway. Graham from Corby (04 January 2015)
Overall cottage ad location were good, only issue was stain on bedsheet and small kitchen Simon from Shepton Mallet (24 November 2014)
Lovely, cosy cottage where we soon felt very much at home. Location couldn't be better, with shops, park, seafront and pub all within a few hundred metres. We were sorry to leave and would definitely book jenny's cottage again. Ed from Ipswich (31 October 2014)
Lovely cottage, well furnished in a lovely location. . 500 yards from beach, 250 yards from shops. . village well equiped so as no need for using big supermarkets, greengrocers, bakers, butchers with spar shop for anything else. . would imagine both front and back garden sun trap in summer. . assume wi-fi is coming as engineer called to fit phone line when we were there. Iain from East Sussex (17 October 2014)
Lovely cottage clean and tidy, great enclosed garden back and front. a short walk across the park and your at the beach, which as we were out of season we could take the dog for a walk and paddle. the village is also lovely and people very friendly. Nikki from Milton Keynes (10 October 2014)
We take a cottage break with our dog several times a year, and jenny's cottage is probably the loveliest place we have stayed in recent times. we are a couple and have a dog, and it is perfect as has enclosed front and back gardens for the dog to scamper about in safely. plus very importantly it is only a 3 min walk to sandy beach, spar shop, lovely pub,(the ship), grocers, butchers/ deli, fish stall, bakers, couple of cafes and po - all in mundesley village. also the cottage, backs onto a park which is useful for the dog, it really did have everything we needed. a rare treat that ticked pretty much every box we have,- great location, pretty, well equipped, clean and ordered. we never rebook but are considering this one! loved it. Victoria from London (03 October 2014)
Really good cottage.loved staying there but one or two minor issues.cobweb across ceiling in bedroom. Squeaky door in double room. Single mattresses very soft for the three of us who used them. Sitting room not very comfortable after a long day out. But would recommend to friends. Lorraine from Leeds (26 September 2014)
Lovely location. Ideal for our dog and lots of places for us all to go. Valerie from Edgware, Middx (05 September 2014)
Jennys cottage is in a fabulous location with an off road parking space of its own there's everything you need right on your doorstep, butchers, greengrocer's, post office, pharmacy, e.t.c .the house is minutes from the beach and sea front and looks out towards the park where the children's swings and climbing frames ,zip wire went down a treat with our 9yr old.the only downside is the bathroom is down stairs and not been used to that took a few days to adjust to as the cottage has steep stairs but none of this detracts from how nicely and well equipped the cottage is, this is the first self catering property we have stayed where there are plenty of oven trays ,baking trays ,yorkshire pudding trays, pans, wok and lots of utensils .the house is nicely decorated in a fitting style to the age of the cottage the bedrooms have nice linens on and plenty of space in drawers and wardrobe to put your clothes there's also a hairdryer in each bedroom. We have already booked to go back next year so I think that speaks for itself..! the lowerys from lincoln Joanne from Lincoln (08 August 2014)
Fantastic cottage in a brilliant location ideal for people with dogs and families. Every need catered for at the cottage can't wait to go back again. Kerry from Pontefract (04 July 2014)
We had a lovely holiday in jenny's cottage and would certainly recommend it to our friends. mundesley is a pleasant and peaceful village and the beach is nearby. we would certainly book this cottage again. Vera from Quadring, Nr Spalding, Lincs (13 June 2014)
Perfect :-) Andrew from Nottingham (06 June 2014)
This was our second visit to this cottage as we loved it so much a couple of years ago. Good location and very central to other places to visit. Loved that it was so close to the beach and the local shops. We would definetly return again. Maria from Essex (02 May 2014)
We really enjoyed our stay, it was a beautiful place. The only thing that hampered it for us a little was the comfort of the living/dining room furniture, for a family of 4 of an evening it was not so good, only one sofa? I would suggest 2 comfy sofas. . also the dining table chairs are a little high for the table so that when you're sat at them, your legs dig in to the underneath of the table plinth. Andrea from Hagley (25 April 2014)
Lovely cottage, lovely location - right next to the park & about a four minute walk across the park to the beach. most of the pubs and cafés accept well behaved dogs too. Our children (aged 7 & 9) loved the cottage, and so did our vizsla dog. the front and back gardens were nice, and access & parking is easy, although if you have a large car or 4x4 you may find getting down the road to the cottage a tight squeeze! (we've stayed before near by so this wasn't a surprise for us). well equipped, very clean, would happily book again. Yolanda from Elliott-James (21 April 2014)
Absolutely fabulous cottage - can thoroughly recommend. Everything very clean, and fully well equipped kitchen. . . welcoming cake and milk on arrival. Very nice touch. . ideal location - and just perfect for walking our lively dog along the beach. . many dog friendly pubs including the ship (very good sunday roast) Carmel from Luton Beds (31 March 2014)
Lovely comfortable cottage in an ideal location Kathryn from Nottingham (21 March 2014)
Beautiful cottage, very well furnished and comfortable. Excellent location. Would definitely visit again. Had small problem when landing light bulb went but this was dealt with very quickly by owner. Wendy from Norwich (07 March 2014)
We had a lovely weekend in a great location; lots of places to walk our dog. The cottage was warm, clean and well equiped and we felt 'at home' straight away. Would definately return! Sue from Lincoln (02 December 2013)

A lovely cottage right by the sea. perfect for people with dogs. close to places of interest. Philippa from Essex (20 September 2013)
This is a very beautiful place as is the area, everything you need is on your doorstep. . if you wanted to go further out there are plenty of things to do within a 30 min drive - we will stay again Kim from Cambridge (02 September 2013)
We had a fab holiday there a great location ,cottage fab too . so much to see and do around that area . Gabrielle from Southwick (30 August 2013)
We enjoyed our stay and so close to the beach was great. To have off road parking was a bonus. The cottage doorways were a challenge if you were tall though. The bathroom being downstairs was ok but would have been better upstairs. Jane from Northampton (19 Jul 2013)
So many good points.it was just perfect in every way for us Shona from Stockport (05 Jul 2013)
We were really happy with the cottage and had a brilliant holiday. very near the beach, in a beautiful village, helpful friendly owners (we had a problem with the oven and they sorted it out quickly), very well equipped kitchen, nice to have small gardens at front and back for toddlers to toddle in. Kimberley from Cambridge (07 Jun 2013)
Great location, well equipped and comfortable. owners helpful with any issues. Customer 65 from Birmingham (27 May 2013)
Excellent location, nice to walk from the cottage around the village, to the sea front and the beer garden of the ship! plenty of off road parking and nice little enclosed garden. Amy from Nottingham (06 May 2013)
Great cottage.owner has thought of everything.all nicely decorated and clean.lovely not having too bring your own linen and towels.good position near to a great park and the sea.children loved the dvds, games and the park.mundesley is a quiet place just enough to get by on (shop wise) but a good base to explore that part of norfolk. Sam from Coggeshall (12 April 2013)
Really lovely place, well decorated inside, would like to go back in the future. Enjoyed having the wood burner on, very cosy Vicky from Beccles (11 February 2013)
Able to take our dog. Location good small seaside town/village enough facilities. Quiet ..peaceful. Parking.. able to park up and not use car until went home. Only 5mins walk to a superb beach. Good walking. Cottage well set up.cosy clean.lovely furnishings. . . Lois from Canterbury Kent (04 February 2013)
Really cosy and comfortable but still roomy. beautifully decorated and fully equipped. Had slight reservations about pets being allowed to stay but found the cottage immaculately clean and fresh. The woodburner was a huge bonus for the winter nights. the nightlight in the hallway upstairs was very appreciated. nice welcoming touches, with the bubbly and cake. the village shops provided all the forgotten bits and bobs and the lovely sandy beach only a short walk away and was worth a visit. Denise from Essex (28 December 2012)
Very pretty cottage. Woodburner. Quiet location. Close to seafront. Sheila from Swindon (14 December 2012)
The warm log fire. Christine from Lichfield (22 October 2012)
Cosy and homely. Lorna from Tunbridge Wells (12 October 2012)
