The kids and myself had a fantastic stay at seashells. We can't wait to go back and stay again. Mark from Harleston (04 August 2017)
The beds are very uncomfortable needs new mattresses a specially in the first floor bedroom a part from that the cottage is good with a great welcome pack. But there was a lot of noise from the pub until late. Joan from York (16 June 2017)
A delightful cottage & very well presented. helped to make our first visit to cromer a hit! Jez from Mansfield, Notts. (02 June 2017)
Wonderful little cottage, great location with a very relaxing and homely feeling. A generous welcome pack for kids adults and even our dog. We will be back again! Richard from Hertfordshire (07 April 2017)
We thoroughly recommend this cottage, fantastic location and some lovely thoughtful gifts left for us by the owner. Confirmed Guest (10 March 2017)
Will definitely look to return to seashells. Cromer has always been a magical place for us but this cottage was a real home from home. It had all the little touches you could think of including welcome drinks, cake and bread. Very clean and comfortable and being in the hub of the town was great..everything on your door step. Parking permit was easy to get and car park only 5 min walk away. Highly recommend this cottage for a holiday. Emma (24 February 2017)
The only disadvantage was the parking, nearest car park (budgens) had 2 hr limit, but 7 day parking permit available at the calendar road car park approx 10 mins walk. The cottage was very cosy and ideal position for town, beach & pier within 2/3 mins walk. Roy from Somersham (17 February 2017)
2nd year we have stayed at seashells. we love the quaintness of the cottage and it's excellent location. The pub can be noisy at weekends but usually finishes relatively early. With luck we'll be back again to make it 3 out of 3 in 2017! Vanessa from Saffron Walden (28 October 2016)
A fab cottage, ideally situated for all that cromer has to offer. Very much appreciated the welcome pack which included a yummy home made cake. The owner even allowed us in the night before we were due to arrive as the previous occupants were leaving and the cottage would be ready early. Cannot recommend highly enough. Clare from Mansfield (21 October 2016)
I just can't find enough good things to say about this property. it was perfect, ideally located, beautiful throughout and the owners are caring and a bit special! Karen from Brentwood (10 October 2016)
We enjoyed a lovely break at seashells. The weather was kind to us and we visited a few other local towns. Holt was my favourite with its quaint streets, shops and tearooms. The cottage was in a superb location near to the pier where we went into the lifeboat station & watched the lifeboat coming back in. Cromer crab was delicious & fish n chips from mary jane's in garden street were even better than from no 1. seashells was very clean with a lovely seaside feel. The kitchen is delightful. The owner was in touch by text message and even let us know that we didn't need to be out by 10am on the morning we were leaving. All in all a fabulous first visit to norfolk. Frances. Frances from Chester (30 September 2016)
Seashells is in the heart of old cromer, lots of lovely old fashioned traditional seaside activities literally steps away! cottage was full of character and with a very well equiped kitchen . good sized bedrooms and bathroom too! Angela from Oxford (16 September 2016)
Loved the cottage and location, sun trap out the back was a great place to sit with a cup of tea in the morning. Very clean and welcome pack with home made cake was a boon - barely got a look in with the cake once the kids saw it! thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Ceri from Birmingham (02 September 2016)
Great location right next to the wellington pub. Literally a stones throw from the pier and beach. . welcome pack was lovely with bread, milk, eggs and wine. Sky tv was good for the kids. 2 steps of steep stairs but these were expected. Lovely little courtyard that opens up onto the wellington beer garden, useful to clean the sand off rather than dragging everything through the house. If you're there in carnival week you do get a lot of late noise from the beer garden. Overall a great cottage. Rob from Lingfield (19 August 2016)
Fantastic location, lovely property. The stairs and property layout are a little challenge with very young children, but not too difficult. Toby from Peterborough (22 July 2016)
Lovely little cottage, perfect for four people, but I would say a bit cramped for 6! especially as there is only one bathroom, which can be a bit of an issue even with just two couples. Otherwise it is great and the owner's have thought off just about everything, the welcome pack for the humans and for the dog are nice touches. Very comfortable beds!. the very steep and narrow stairs may be an issue for some, but we are warned about that. Location ios great for the pier and the heart of cromer. Pete from Woodbridge (09 May 2016)
Perfect position close to cromer pier in what is effectively a pedestrianized area, though cars can go past and it is easy to park outside to unload. We bought a weekly season ticket for the north norfolk coast and left the car in the information office car park. . the cottage is right beside the wellington pub and the back gate opens onto the pub courtyard; easy to see if there are empty tables. Dogs seem welcome everywhere; most eating places have an area to eat in where they are allowed. . . the cottage has food outlets all around, two pubs with good pub food, a pizza shop, burger shop, two ice cream booths, doughnut outlet, and two fish and chip shops, chinese takeaway as well as a budgens grocery within about 50 yards. . the welcome pack in the cottage was well above average, with wine, dog treats lovely home made cake and bread, and some essentials like sugar coffee and tea. . the bed in the first floor bedroom was excellent, with a large comfortable duvet, and lots of little knick knacks everywhere made it very homely. The owner was easy to contact and happy to text back and forth. we particularly appreciated the wifi and satellite channels. . the only drawback for us in our mid seventies was the stairs, we knew they were steep, but the tight turn at the bottom with narrow triangular steps meant we had to come down backwards, a very small price to pay compensated by the few steps needed to get to anywhere even the pier and amusement arcades. . lots of good days out in sheringham (try the crown inn by the water for food) wells by the sea and the shire horse rescue centre just outside cromer. Tom from Suffolk (08 April 2016)
An excellent accommodation that is perfectly situated within the heart of cromer. The house has several period features and has the look and feel of a fisherman's cottage. Matthew from Norwich (21 March 2016)
A absolutely lovely cottage the quirkiness of the stairs and the top 2 bedrooms which my kids loved the kitchen which I loved I wish I could have it at home the cottage which is situated in a main pedestrianised street of cromer which is so convenient for the beach 10 yards away and a pub next door as a holiday cottage I couldn't fault anything even when my wife forgot her cardigan the owner posted it back even with me offering to pay for the postage she said no worries il be back as everyone and everywhere is so dog friendly even pubs and restaurants Paul from Coalville Leicestershire (14 March 2016)
Excellent location for new years day fireworks, cosy cottage. Anita from Hertfordshire (03 January 2016)
Lovely property ideally located in town and close to the sea. Only criticism would be the dial has worn on the oven so it was difficult to work out how to use it! . the owner was lovely and very helpful. We had a great holiday. Thank you. Vanessa from Saffron Walden (30 October 2015)
Great place for where we wanted to discover. The wifi and sky tv was a great unexpected treat. There was only myself and wife with lab dog so it was roomy enough for all of us. Lovely touch of free wine, cake, bread etc and with budgens across the road you could buy supplies within minutes. Pub next door or through the back gate was fantastic. Parking had to be in the local car park (100 meters) at £5 for 24 hours. Recommend the red lion for food and you can take your dog in with you. Having now discovered this part of the country, we have no need to stay in cromer again, however, we would always book seashells should we return. Paul from Calne (16 October 2015)
Excellent stay. Great location, cosy, and clean. I highly suggest this property! Matthew from Norwich (31 July 2015)
We all enjoy walking, so seashells was the perfect location. we parked the cars up and did not use them for the week. plenty of places to eat and drink and good beaches for the dogs. Had a brilliant week and will be returning to cromer. Jan from West Midlands (12 June 2015)
Enjoyed cromer. Was disappointed that the back garden bordered onto a pub beer garden!. found the house a little untidy and cluttered. Although they had tried to cater for everyone's need with books and toys and dvds we would have enjoyed a little more space instead. The wi-if and sky were great as there is no o2 phone signal in cromer. There was nothing provided to light the fire though. As the cottage is right on the street a blind or shutters half way up the window is needed because we felt we had to close the curtains for privacy as everyone looks in as they walk past. Although the tiny courtyard is a lovely suntrap even that was cluttered, and the broken tile on the step a bit dangerous. Vici from Huddersfield (29 May 2015)
Lovely cottage in the centre, homely, all mod cons, a fab place for a few days away. we loved it !! Shaun from Kettering (04 May 2015)
A small cottage, problems with shower and cooker but clean and well located for walking to the beach. Confirmed Guest (10 April 2015)
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. It has everything required for a perfect break and the location could not be better, also the owners welcome pack must be noted as above and beyond what is normally expected. Tony from Essex (06 April 2015)
What a lovely cottage, upon arrival we were provided with flowers, wine, chocolates and a lovely home made cake. Very well equipped and very centrally located. The owner had contacted us previous to our arrival to confirm details and was very helpful and pleasant. Overall a very nice cottage and a lovely place to stay. Adrian from Leicester (20 March 2015)
Lovely cottage, can't beat the location - less than a minute to the seafront. wonderful welcome package made for a great start. we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. thank you. Jonathan from London (20 February 2015)
Excellent stay at seashells, great location and such a lovely snug bolt on the coast in these cooler climes. The cottage itself was clean and very well presented plus the little extras offered on arrival was very much appreciated. Thankyou very much. X Joanne from Horndon On The Hill (13 February 2015)
A lovely place to stay in a fab location, couldn't recommend this place enough! Maria from Braintree (31 October 2014)
A beautiful cottage in the heart of cromer, steeped in history, the location couldn't be much better. Every attention to detail covered, from the lovely beach inspired interior to the homemade cake, flowers and dog treats which greeted us on our arrival. A lovely log burner for those colder evenings made for a warm and homely atmosphere. . we had a wonderful weekend and would highly recommend seashells. Clare from St Albans (13 October 2014)
