Great weather good cottage dog friendly nice and pleasant June (07 July 2017)
Except for the storm and flooding it was excellent will certainly be booking again regards to all Philip from Castledonington (30 June 2017)
Location is lovely, quiet and very dog friendly. The shower has to be the worst we've ever come across. Both bedrooms had a strange like smokey smell, which you don't expect from a non smoking accommodation. Gary from Salterforth (16 June 2017)
Lovely accommodation. Problem initially with hot water but soon sorted. Good location for walking and property safe for the dog. John from Settle (12 May 2017)
Had a wonderful holiday. Cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. Great location for walks on the beach. Enclosed garden great for the dogs. Would definitely like to stay again. Claire from Durham (21 April 2017)
Our 4th visit which speaks volumes!! great bungalow on brilliant location. Very clean everything you might need thank you. Denise from Shelton (14 October 2016)
The cottage was very nice and quite close to the beach which was good for us and the dogs, the garden and conservatory were very enjoyable to sit in after a long days trek overall a great place to stay for our holiday. Simon from Sheffield (07 October 2016)
We liked the bungalow, but there were things that needed attending to that had been bought to the owners attention in the visitors book over two years ago that needed doing, primarily the shower. For the cost of the holiday, a proper working shower isn't too much to ask. Overall we had a good time, & the weather was great. With two cars getting in & out is an issue, wouldn't be so bad if the trellis was removed. Lesley from Eakring (30 September 2016)
This cottage was a home for cobwebs shower was almost waterless this had been reported in visitor book constantly from 2013. Open bags of food were left in freezer open jars left in fridge. Outside lighting did not work the bulbs had blown .we did not feel like eating in this place so dined out for all meals all week. Brian from Rayleigh (23 September 2016)
Really enjoyed stay comfortable and clean the garden isn't as big as the picture made it but was enclosed and great for the dogs we could leave door open and they could come and go Geesien from Nottingham (16 September 2016)
V ery nice cottage easy walk to beach and shops.one problem no shower.also outdated tv.other wise very good,i have been three times looking foward to the next Terry from Comberton (09 September 2016)
The double bedroom and the rest of the bungalow had a very strong odour of cigarette smoke. We found it odd that there was no kitchen window fitted as when it rained on the conservatory roof you could not here yourselves think. The water pressure was so low, that having a shower was not possible. We would suggest that a hand rail in the bathroom on the wall of the bath would be most helpful. A mirror in the twin bedroom is necessary as well as a convenient power point. Elizabeth from Waltham Chase, Southampton (02 September 2016)
A delightful bungalow; great to have an enclosed garden for our dogs. Great location for beach, shops and pubs. It was an added bonus that the nearest pub also had a butchers attached selling amazing sausages and lovely bacon. The negatives:. - a feeble shower which stopped completely when you ran another tap . - the bungalow could do with a spring clean! Andy from Derbyshire (12 August 2016)
Need for more effective tv and dvds. Also all cupboards need to be clean internally Angela from South Yorkshire (05 August 2016)
Overall we liked sea haven a lot. It is quietly tucked away, but it's a 10 minute walk to the beach, about the same to the nearest supermarket, and only 5 minutes to the pub where the meals are excellent. The reason we wouldn't return is down to two things. Firstly the shower barely qualifies being called a shower, a dribble is nearer the mark. Secondly it needs wifi. I knew it didn't have it before I went, but I didn't realise I wouldn't get a phone signal either. I have to admit I found this really annoying and i'm not someone who spends all day looking at his phone. Russell from Nottingham (08 July 2016)
Enjoyed our stay, couple of points, wi- fi needed, bigger tv, appropriate remote so dvds could be watched (existing one could not control dvd function). lampshades in bedroom and lounge need changing. Water pressure in bathroom was poor. Thought the cost for our four dogs was excessive as we always make a point of ensuring the place is clean on our departure. . unfortunately had to cut short our break because of a chest infection, but hopefully the insurance provided by you will reimburse us the two nights we missed. Mike from St Lawrence. Essex (24 June 2016)
Every thing was great except the storage heating system was nt adequate for the time of the year we went. Also there was no glass in the kitchen window/ conservatory which added to the cold, would recommend a blower or electric heater being left in the cottage for the really cold times of the year. Garden was great for the dogs. The owner was very helpful over the phone. Linda from Little Addington (25 March 2016)
Another great week with the dogs at heacham, our third year! real home from home for us. we have already booked next year, what greater recommendation. Denise from Shelton (16 October 2015)
We found sea haven very clean, warm and comfortable. also it was very close to the places we wanted to re-visit, e.g. Sandringham, kings lynn. Carol from Bedford (09 October 2015)
A quietly positioned comfortable small bungalow in a village which contains all local amenities.within reach of good beaches excellent for walking the dog. Stephen from Keswick (11 September 2015)
Nice place, nice location- water pressure a bit low, so shower was not good and found bedroom blinds didn't darken the room enough to sleep. . coud do with wifi too. Dave from Henstridge (07 August 2015)
I have been to sea haven twice now and intend to book again for next year. I've stayed in accommodation with my dogs all over the uk for the last 14 years and without a doubt, sea haven is the very best. The cottage has everything you could possibly need with a lovely large secure garden. The beds are really comfortable and so is the settee! the dog friendly pub is 3 minutes walk away and the sea front 5 minutes. It is ideally situated to explore norfolk. Karen from Northampton (31 July 2015)
Lovely location. Only disappointment was with the shower. Not a very good shower hed or water pressure. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyable. Jenny from Cardiff (12 June 2015)
Very good bungalow well sited Terry from Comberton (05 June 2015)
Lovely bungalow well equipped, garden was great for our dog & for sitting in, good location, good local pub, good fish & chip shop just down the road, hadva good rest Michael from Lichfield Staffordshire (22 May 2015)
The dogs and humans had a wonderful time, all came home happy and exhausted,no complaints wonderful holiday. Lynda from Maltby (01 May 2015)
Not enough activities in walking distance if it is cold and rainy, unlike nearby hunstanton, but with good weather the beach is very close and is lovely for children and dogs and there is a local co-operative supermarket which was great for early morning newspapers and late last minute shopping. Diane from Manchester (03 April 2015)
The flooring was no good for the dog she found it hard to stand up because she kept slipping. Confirmed Purchaser (12 September 2014)
Lovely cottage no welcome pack (tea coffee milk sugar). when you have been driving for five hours the last thing you want to do is going looking for a shop. There was no curtains up at the bedroom window I didn't enjoy getting woken up at 6.30 on holiday. The cottage is only seven minutes walk to the beach and five minutes to the pub. Deanna from Middlesbrough (22 August 2014)
Lovely time had by us and the dogs very good pub with great food just up the road no complaints at all. Nigel from Boston (25 July 2014)
We had the best holiday we have had in years thanks to this lovely bungalow. It was very clean with really comfortable beds. The enclosed garden was very important for the safety of our dogs. The area is very dog friendly and the local pub had fabulous food and even allows dogs inside if it rains.we liked so much we have already booked again for next year! Karen from Walker (18 July 2014)
Lovely place but just needed a few hundred quid spending on equipment shower, beds and kitchen! (the 2 single beds were knackered. We had to buy a kettle as the one there was rank and as for the shower it was useless! we would not use any of the kitchen utensils) we have thrown better stuff out not happy Robert from Mid Wales (16 May 2014)
Extremely good holiday not first visit ,booked again for next year. property dog friendly and many walks nearby. Lynda from Maltby (02 May 2014)
The shower was as good as useless as the water all but trickled out along with trying to adjust the temperature . heating was via storage heaters which meant them being switched on 24/7 as there was no instant heating means. Electric heater supplied in the conservatory was out of working order. No freezer in kitchen area. Never again. Richard from Barrow Upon Humber (04 April 2014)
Sea haven is ideally situated for a quiet october bird watching break when the adjoining chalet park is almost deserted but in peak season I think it would be very busy with families. The lawned garden really was fully enclosed and our terrier enjoyed it and the beach which was only 5 minutes walk from the cottage. Overall a very comfortable and well maintained property ,ideally situated for touring the beautiful north norfolk area. Linda from Shipley (11 October 2013)
Great location, close to all amenities. Nice enclosed rear garden for the dogs. Convenient parking space. Would book again but we fell in love with heacham and have bought our own place now! Jillian from Peterborough (06 September 2013)
Had a lovely secure garden, location was good. Bedrooms were ok. Appalled that the hot water/ shower has not been dealt with after many complaints, didnt think the property was that clean. Lousie from Hertfordshire (30 August 2013)
Ideal for dog walking . Tina from Harlow (23 August 2013)
Good comfortable base and the fact that it takes dogs and has a secure garden is a bonus Sylvia from Stanford-Le-Hope (02 August 2013)
Lovely home, well equipped apart from bedrooms. Chair would be useful and mirror. Not much hanging space. Drive tight for two cars. Dogs loved the area for walks. House a little difficult to find, but locals helpful! good value and would recommend especially for two people. Weather wonderful, very good local shops. Bridget from Preston (12 Jul 2013)
Good location, nice area, nice beach Phillp from Mansfield (28 Jun 2013)
All very clean and there was everything there we needed Denise from Shelton (19 April 2013)

Good location - peaceful within a short walk of the sea. Great for birdwatchers and walkers. Good level of cleanliness - except the dog hairs! Pamela from Whitfield, Dover (12 October 2012)
Very close to Heacham beach, lovely walk to Hunstanton. Very Dog friendly at Holkham Bay, beautiful place to visit. Customer 45 (September 2012)
Lovely location and splendid for access to beach, shops etc. Great conservatory and good enclosed garden for dog. Not too many electric sockets, or behind things so not too accessible, and no food cupboard, but apart from that everything wonderful. Really comfortable accommodation and well maintained. Had a great week. Customer 46 (August 2012)
Great decor pleasant surroundings Susan from Stockton (29 June 2012)
Location Deborah from Shepshed, Leics. (18 May 2012)
Close to the sea the promenade walk between heacham & hunstanton was excellent, hecham beach for dogs was also great. Local pubs all allow dogs and the food at both was very good. Janet from Northampton (11 May 2012)
A lovely cottage. Ideally suited for beach and travelling out to other areas. People very friendly, and a very dog friendly part of the country. The pub down the road welcomes dogs and the food is excellent. The owners were very helpful as we had to phone them a couple of times. Customer 50 (September 2011)

It was very dog friendly with an enclosed garden. Customer 57 (March 2010)
A reasonably laid out bungalow with good bedrooms. Customer 58 (October 2009)
Ideal accommodation for holidays taken with 2 dogs as has a good enclosed garden area. Excellent position for exploring North Norfolk and its coast/bird reserves. A cosy bungalow in a quiet situation in late Autumn. Customer 59 (October 2009)
Location and quietness. Customer 60 (September 2009)
Clean and tidy, close to the beach - 5 minute walk. Customer 61 (September 2009)
We found the property to be clean and light with a very private and quiet atmosphere. Extremely relaxing, while still being close to amenities and a good base for visiting places of interest. A very enjoyable holiday in a pleasant and peaceful setting. We have already booked for next year! Customer 62 (July 2009)
Excellent location and enclosed garden for dogs. Customer 63 (July 2009)

Fantastic location. Just 5 minutes walk to beach. Very peaceful and quiet. Loved to see all the ducks and rabbits! Customer 67 (April 2009)
The weather could not have been better for March, no wind or rain and sunshine every day! It was my second visit to this property, very good value and location. Customer 68 (March 2009)
Our 7th visit, so i guess we must be happy with it and going back next year. Its fantastic. Customer 69 (September 2008)
A very relaxing break - the bungalow is comfortable and has everything you need. the only thing we would suggest would be a freeview box, as TV viewing is limited with only 4 channels. Customer 70 (September 2008)
