Really good location, but felt for the money we spent the bungalow could do with some tlc.real shame we could not have the patio doors open.the bungalow could do with painting and new carpets and furniture. When you are paying this kind of money you would expect it to be of a better standard. The roads leading to the bungalow were terrible and a not good for your car suspension. Having given this negative feedback we really enjoyed our time here, the weather was excellent and we were able to reach other parts of norfolk easily and quickly being near to the main roads.i do think they need to consider the price in the future. Overall good holiday. Confirmed Guest from Having Given This Negative Feedback We Really Enjo (24 June 2017)
Frosty welcome from key holder, road in and out of estate tractor needed, furniture smelled, patio doors nailed up, the whole property needed updating, no sleep due to white curtains and very creeky bed the standard of cleaning was very poor the brown throws in the living room were smelly and greasy. The location was great for the beach. Looked a lot better on the photos. Michael from Immingham (10 June 2017)
We've stayed at this bungalow many times now. The location is superb - right on the beach on a private estate, convenience store within walking distance, within driving distance of many lovely places. Chip shop, cafe and chinese takeaway in village. The bungalow is large and comfortable (beds a bit firm maybe?) with the luxury of 2 toilets:) small pleasant garden. Very peaceful. 'caretakers' very friendly. Ann from Leicester (27 May 2017)
Relaxing holiday perfect for dog walking. Stephen from Hull (13 May 2017)
We stayed 20-24th march with our friend and 2 dogs. We were amazed at the size of the bungalow as it was so spacious with everything you could possibly need. Yes it is a little 'tired' in some respects but is a dog friendly property. It felt cosy and we felt we could sit back and relax. It was clean and there were some nice touches such as milk in the fridge, tea and coffee and fresh flowers on the table. It was bliss sitting down in the evening and watching the night fall across the sea from the comfort of the sofa! the beach did not disappoint either, long stretches of sand with us often being the only ones on the beach. Despite it being bitterly cold it didn't stop us getting out and about and there are plenty of places to go and see. Returning in the evening to the lovely warm bungalow was always a pleasure. Unfortunately during our stay we had need of a vet and cannot thank peter and linda for their help with that and for calling the next day to see how we had got on. We would definitely recommend the bungalow to friends and we are planning a return trip! Linda from Birmingham (24 March 2017)
The bungalow is very comfortable, we have booked to go again Confirmed Guest (18 March 2017)
I really debated about leaving a review on rosemary's sea view as I don't like to leave negative feedback, but I was so utterly disappointed and really quite angry that I felt I should. My honest opinion is as follows. All in all I had a peaceful break in lovely location, just myself and my 2 dogs. A wonderful area for walks and the beach only a stones throw away was great. Upon arrival I found the bungalow really quite dirty, cobwebs, dusty and just generally dirty, strong smell of stale smoke umong other unpleasant smells..i spent nearly 2 hours cleaning everything from the bathroom which was absolutely vile with pubic hairs in the shower and sink, toilet seat with urine splashes umong other nasties. Washing everything from sticky cups and plates to knives and forks with food debris, absolutely unacceptable!! I travel with my dogs approximately 4/5 times per year staying in accommodations like this but have never experienced such filth! if this had been a hotel I would have demanded another room. Rosemary's sea view not only was filthy it is also in desperate need of some tlc, flaking yellow paint everywhere, bed linen like something from a charity shop and furniture more dated than my great great grandmothers. I couldn't even bring myself to comment in the visitors book, in fact i'm convinced that the entries are not genuine as I cannot believe anybody would find this accommodation acceptable. I arrived on a monday evening and was due to leave on friday, I actually left on the thursday, I could not stand another day in this drab, dirty, dated unpleasant smelling bungalow. I feel absolutely ripped off, biggest waste of money ever, and to think on top of the normal charge I had to pay £25 per dog! really?! what an absolute insult! would I ever go back? never! worst I have ever stayed in the 7 years of traveling the u.k. With my beautiful doggies. The owners should be ashamed of themselves! put some of the cash you earn from renting this accommodation into getting a decent cleaner and updating this grotty property. Susannah from Norfolk (24 February 2017)
The cottage was much more than we expected, definitely one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed at in england. we were completely surprised by the size of the place and would love to stay at the cottage again. all the amenities were excellent, we loved the conservatory in the afternoon, and the view over the sea was lovely. . the only problem however is the road lane leading to the cottage which is probably the worst we have ever encountered. the 'craters' that populate the 1/2 mile travel from the main road are so numerous we found it impossible to avoid them completely and when full of water you have no idea of how deep they are. we know this is not the fault of the property's owner and they can do very little about it, but it did make travelling in and out of the estate very difficult to say the least. which made walking along the beachfront an even better experience, especially as the weather was kind to us for most of the stay. John from Uppingham (19 February 2017)
New wood flooring and large screen tv are great improvements since our last visit. However with the dark nights late in the year a 20w bulb is insufficient for the dining room. A better light shade capable of taking a higher wattage bulb would be appreciated. Ken from St Albans (05 November 2016)
Very comfortable and warm everything you need for a good break away . our dogs loved the place all in all a very nice place. David from Suffolk (08 October 2016)
Great location and well equipped. Dogs loved fact beach was so near. We have booked already for next year although disappointed there is now an extra charge for dogs which has significantly increased the cost as we have three dogs. Simon from Lincoln (24 September 2016)
2nd year in a row fabulous! Martyn from Colchester (03 September 2016)
Fabulous holiday at rosemary's sea view would definitely return Confirmed Guest (27 August 2016)
After quite a few visits all I can say is great .always clean and fresh the caretaker is a lovely lady who is always on hand for any thing that you need . in our case never had any trouble all going well we will be back lots of very happy memories Rita from Preston (20 August 2016)

Lovely cottage lovely location Tamasine from Eastcote (02 July 2016)
Our 7th visit to rosemary's and hopefully will be going back again next year. The bungalow is well equipped and everything works! the back garden is fully enclosed, great for children and pets. the local beaches are so quiet, just perfect. Thanks to linda and pete for the warm welcome. Confirmed Guest from Lincolnshire (11 June 2016)
This is a lovely holiday cottage. It has everything you need - only need o provide own towels. it is a bit like the tardis- a lot bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Short walk to the beach path. Plenty of places to visit. Fab fish and chip shop , and chinese in the village. Would go back again, only slight downfall- mill lane- it is an unmade road- very rough lots pot holes- like being on a rollercoaster !!! Alison from Sheffield (14 May 2016)
We had a great time. Layout is fantastic and the cottage was really clean and cosy. Great location to get to all the main attractions. Loved sitting in the bench in the morning drinking coffee looking at the sea Jayne from Bury (02 April 2016)
We have stayed here before. The location is superb and the bungalow fits our needs. It's very spacious and comfortable. The access road gets worse each visit unfortunately. We can only get our car onto the first bit of the driveway. You could not cook for 5 people (assuming you wanted to on holiday!) unless you brought your own saucepans. Ann from Leicester (26 March 2016)
The place was lovely and clean but furniture is very tired the sofas are really. Marked and need replacing. Confirmed Guest (05 March 2016)
Had a lovely stay. Bungalow perfect for beach. Dogs, billy, oscar and honey, loved it. Would defo come back. Wilson from Abingdon (07 November 2015)
It's right next to the beach so the kids and dogs loved it. . bungalow well equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommended for a place to stay. Mel from Houghton Regis (31 October 2015)
The place was very nice and comfortably good conservatory but the road leading up to it is full of pot holes. close to the sea other wise very good Avis from Newport Shropshire (03 October 2015)
Enjoyable peaceful stay. The road needs to be addressed by the owners and council, it is a little bit offputting. The cottage was very well stocked with all we needed. And very handy for the beach. Pauline from Stockport (19 September 2015)
A fantastic well equipped property in an excellent location for a beach holiday and only a short distance from many great places to visit. Martyn from Colchester (05 September 2015)
This was my second visit to this property it has everything you need for a family holiday the sea view is great it is very warm and cosy the caretaker is a lovely lady who makes you feel very welcome the beach is just across the green the village has most things you will need for a great stay Rita from Preston (15 August 2015)
This is the second year we have been in this cottage. We have e enjoyed staying here, it's clean and very close to the seaside. Would stay there again. Karen from Rushden, Northants (01 August 2015)
Excellent location for grandparents with 2 grandchildren. Also good for exploring norfolk. Brian from Kettering (25 July 2015)
The bungalow was ideal for our purposes plus dog. Kitchen best equipped we have encountered. Plenty of crockery and utensils for cooking/baking. Immaculate, a mix of modern and older style furniture. . lovely to have the beach so near and very little traffic on the estate - downside the rough unmade road to the property. Unusual layout but worked for us - spacious and a good base. Janet from Kilgetty (18 July 2015)
We have stayed here twice already and have booked for next year. We intend going for a week every year. The location is perfect and the bungalow is roomy and ideal for us and the dogs. Great dog walk at bacton woods. Good restaurants short distance away. Ann from Leicester (11 July 2015)
Yes one of the best hol homes out of many we have visited . but slight dust under tables etc ,the tv ( like all the others properties ) needs updating from 1980.s spec and the private estate access roads are severely pot holed .but then nothings ever perfect! Michael (27 June 2015)
Good holiday only complaint dogs in cottages northern england and scotland 10£ here it was 25£ each. Douglas from Wakefield (06 June 2015)
Lovely peaceful stay - we all enjoyed it (including the dog). would like to book again next year. Customer 35 from Cambridge (16 May 2015)
Lovely place, clean, comfortable and well equipped. excellent views. Will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone Amanda from Birmingham (09 May 2015)
Lovely cottage in great location. shops easy walking distance, beach on doorstep and easy for boats, walks and cycling. . owners really helpful when hoover broke. Thank you. . road into property not great and could do with removing carpet from conservatory to ensure can keep clean when have dogs, but all outweighed by homeliness of property. Just need a large jug for mealtime drinks. . will definitely rebook. Cath from Stourbridge (11 April 2015)
The cottage was comfortable and clean, well equipped, in a great setting, ideal for a relaxing holiday and plenty of walks to take our dog. Chris (04 April 2015)
Fantastic time elderly lady a couple and 3 dogs. Would go back again. Lynda from Coalville, Leicestershire (27 March 2015)
We would stay here again without hesitation. The property is perfectly located, was very clean, with comfortable beds and sofas etc., and was nice and warm when we arrived . . the property is spacious, and larger than we expected, and more than adequate for a party of 6. . highly recommended Garry from Great Dunmow (09 March 2015)
Lovely stay here. Very clean area locals very friendly. Shame about the road but it is an unadopted road. Ann from Leics (20 February 2015)
Overall very good the only drawback was the terrible road a real obstacle coarse to miss the potholes. Patrick from Longanton Cambridge (20 December 2014)
The cottage although dated in its decor was warm comfy and very well equipped. The location is perfect, just 50 yards from the beach and coastal path for walking. The only down side for me was the road in, whatever way you approached the cottage you had to drive up a cart track full of deep large potholes. I would not be suprised to see suspesion/ wheel/ tyre damage to car if you stayed for a week. Thankfully we didnt use car much.this problem needs addressing,it would put me of going there for longer. Ken from Northampton (19 November 2014)
Excellent cottage in a lovely location. lots of nice walks and places to go. Cottage really well equipped and amazing sea views. very dog friendly. Simon from Lincoln (27 September 2014)
Could do with updating and kitchen carpet wants use of carpet cleaner otherwise lovely Brian from Derby (13 September 2014)
Lovely location. Only downside was the strong smell of dogs on carpets, which we have not come across before at dog friendly cottages. Overall we had a lovely holiday. Anne from Staffordshire (06 September 2014)
We cannot praise rosemarys sea view highly enough - we have already booked for nxt year! thanks so much - especially to the lovely caretaker. Gill from Newmarket (30 August 2014)
Cottage was in the ideal location however does need updating and basic cleaning products should be provided ie dishwasher tablets. Needed to clean all plates, glasses and cutlery before use. Carpets need replacing as there was a musty smell of dogs. Vanessa from Swadlincote (16 August 2014)
We had a lovely holiday the cottage was right near the sea. It was an enjoyable family holiday and would stay there again. Karen from Bedford Bedgordshire (09 August 2014)
Had a great time, views were good from cottage. Few minutes away from beach and shop. Ideal location. would recommend the cottage to anyone who wants a quiet and good location. Tracy from Luton (02 August 2014)
Had a wonderful holiday, property very clean and comfortable. Emma from Stratford Upon Avon (10 May 2014)
Great bungalow ideal location will be back David from Loughton Essex (22 March 2014)
This cottage is wonderfully away from the village, but not too far! the beach is just across the green and an ideal setting for the dogs and walks we wanted. It is surprisingly spacious and very cosy for the evenings Janet from Broadstairs (07 March 2014)
Lovely place right on beach, road a bit iffy, bungalow tired and dated, but very welcoming, warm, and all equipment good. Janine from Ipswich (21 February 2014)
We had a really lovely restful time in this beautiful bungalow right by the sea. The enclosed garden at the back was great for the dogs too. Thank you so much. Joy from Southampton (30 November 2013)
We found the cottage shabby and old fashioned compared to other cottages we have stayed in. the conservatory was quite comfortable as were the beds, but the sitting room was not a pleasant room to sit in even though it had the sea view the approach road was very poor and the parking for two vehicles very difficult. Lynne from Nottingham (14 September 2013)
This was ourthird year at rosemarys sea view we were very dissapointed cobwebs on walls dust on lamp shades very strong dog smell in propertywe put hoover over carpet in lounge half filled it with dog hairs our dogs do not moult.the double room curtains did not cover windows properly it realy needs an up date decore and carpets and the funiture the funiture has realy seen better days the settee had a worn patch on arm.we did expect to have a little confort an cleanlness, having been in other properties this is now way down the list .coming off main road up the lane pot holes are anight mare lucky to get away with out damage to car road did not improve as we went on to estate .must say the garden is very secure for the dogs.do the owners. Visit the property?and disabled visitors would have difficulty getting into garden. Pauline from Kettering (07 September 2013)
Enjoyed our stay as we have done before, the only complaints, it would have been nice to have had some deckchairs out in the garden and telly was playing up a bit. Renate from Watford/Herts (13 Jul 2013)
Great location for the beach. Plenty of room. Clean. Julie from Kempston (06 Jul 2013)
Warm and cosy, right by the sea. John from Bourne (03 November 2012)

Lovely warm country cottage style bungalow veiw of sea excellent place to take dogs as easy access to beach for walks. So good to be able to take 3. Would be nice to have a small convience shop to hand but easy drive to supermarket. Customer 67 (November 2011)
This property was very comfortable, very well equipped, had beautiful sea view and took 2 minutes to get to very sandy beach. It was lovely!! Customer 68 (August 2011)
The property is very disabled friendly, with hand rails placed at appropriate points, and all on the flat as it is a bungalow. Lovely garden and sun room. Very big fridge freezer. Washer and dryer came in very handy and so did the washing line, as swimming costumes were used most days! Shower room big enough for two and with a seat ideal for elderly. All in all we loved this holiday home as the beach was just across a grassland and down steps, just like it was private. The owners leave tea and coffee and the whole place is just so comfortable. Best yet. A real family home from home. Customer 69 (July 2011)
Very quiet and excellent for walks along a quiet sea front. Customer 70 (July 2011)
Rosemary’s sea view was perfect for our holiday, with 4 adults 1 toddler and 2 dogs we had more than enough room, everything we needed and easy access to the beach and local shop! Customer 71 (May 2011)

First class, could not have been better. Customer 78 (May 2010)
Very good location, good clean property with everything you required. Customer 79 (March 2010)
It was a home from home. Everything we thought of was there. You wouldn’t have known pets were allowed in the property as everything was so fresh and clean. The view was spectacular. My husband is disabled and can’t walk without a zimmer frame but he managed quite easily as the layout of the property was well thought out. We will definitely be going back next year. Customer 80 (March 2010)
Warm, comfortable and larger than expected. Dog friendly. Customer 81 (February 2010)
well laid out bungalow with large living rooms and a lovely view and that welcomes dogs. Perhaps the double bed could be more comfortable with a king size duvet so that taller people do not have cold feet! Customer 82 (October 2009)
Very clean, spacious home from home. Customer 83 (August 2009)
Very clean, and everything needed for the stay was provided, Very good property. Very good spot, ideal for walking along the coast and country walks in area and very good spot for traveling around North Norfolk. Customer 84 (July 2009)

Very good. One of the best holiday homes we have ever had. Customer 86 (July 2008)
The owner cannot predict the weather. We have been lucky two holidays so far this year, one to come. The owner presents the property excellently. Customer 87 (June 2008)
The owner should be very proud of their accommodation. The welcome tray and a message of welcome from Linda the caretaker. The accommodation was excellent. It was like walking into you own home, well equipped excellent value for money. The people in the area were friendly and extremely helpful. Have already booked a further holiday this year. Customer 88 (March 2008)
Excellent sea views, very comfortable and warm bungalow, will return. Customer 89 (March 2008)
