Plenty of space inside and out for two families sharing. Decor is a bit twee and there are lots of personal pictures everywhere, which we didn't really mind. Lovely location but the pub is a lot further than a mile away so we couldn't walk to it, which was a shame. Had a great stay though and really enjoyed the cottage. Lorna from Southam, Warwickshire (03 September 2016)
Excellently equipped cottage in good location but it was advertised as 'no pets'. it was obvious the owners have a dog and one of our party is very allergic to dogs. She reacted immediately and we were unable to use the lounge for the week. Fred from Northampton (08 April 2016)
Lovely rather cluttered house. could do with new less saggy sofas. would have been better if shower heads fitted to walls. otherwise really enjoyed our stay. the house was in a lovely setting, our grandson especially enjoyed feeding the ducks and watching the cows. hope to visit again soon. Carol from Rainham, Kent (21 August 2015)
This is a lovely roomy cottage set in the heart of the north norfolk countryside, with lots of space for the family to spread out. it is well equipped and was, for us, a home from home. Go there if you like pictures and prints on the walls, books in numerous book cases, lots of niknaks on the shelves, games in the drawers, toys in the playroom, and you find it interesting to see the family photos on display. We had a very enjoyable holiday. Sue from West Wickham (19 September 2014)
Excellent all round! great facilities for all ages! extra bonus there being toys there for children! would definitely recommend to others and will return! thank you. Hannah from Felsted (01 September 2014)
We had a great annual family get together at rose cottage. the location is great, it's roomy and fantastic for kids - we really appreciated the separate playroom, toys and outdoor play equipment. it is like staying in someone's home, there are family photos up and lots of ornaments which we liked though others may not. the only disappointment was that it just wasn't terribly clean but we just cracked open another bottle of wine, washed the glasses thoroughly and got on with it. judging by the visitors book others had felt the same way and incurred the wrath of both the cleaner and homeowner. cleanliness aside we had a wonderful, memorable week here. Serena from Nottingham (15 August 2014)
Rose cottage is very well equipped for a family holiday and located in a very peaceful and picturesque village. One down side was that, due to its slightly remote location, local pubs and eating places were just a bit too far to walk to safely, so someone always had to drive. Very close to 2 lovely national trust properties, the broads and the charming seaside towns of cromer and sheringham. The holt to sheringham steam train journey was a highlight. We all enjoyed our stay. Sue from Bristol (01 August 2014)
We had a lovely family get together in very homely surroundings, might of been better having some heating on prior to our visit as it was a little damp feeling on arrival. Soon rectified with some windows open and fire lit in the evening. Overall a super base for getting around size was perfect for our large family and the play room a big bonus with the children. would love to stay again sometime. Nicola from Staffordshire (30 May 2014)
Ok, but clearly the owners house that is let out, rather than a holiday cottage. Richard from London (28 December 2013)
We all loved it here, the cows outside were so friendly. The property was well maintained and very clean. I would recommend to anyone with a family, it was well equipped. Gayle from Essex (16 August 2013)
Perfect for our family of parents, grandparents and four boys aged 6 to 2. Many fragile objects inbedrooms on high shelves charmed the children but they did not touch. The garden was great , safe, but giving small children plenty of scope for play. Many local places for our daytrips. Veronica from Leeds (02 August 2013)
A beautiful cottage, clean, comfortable, cosy and homely, extremely well equipped, loved it so much we didn't want to leave! Kathy from Leeds (17 May 2013)
Convenient yet quiet location - idyllic setting David from Essex (03 August 2012)
