The accommodation had a lovely view. Unfortunately it was not in a sunny spot so when the sun left the patio at around 12.30 noon it cooled down considerably. We were very lucky with the weather but mostly we were unable to sit out in the evening after about 5.30. The local pub was closed. . however, the bed linen was pristine white and the bed was comfortable. The bedroom was very small. The kitchen area was adequate but we had to thoroughly clean the grill pan before use. . we would not stay there again, partly because the accommodation was small but also we have seen and done quite a lot in this particular area. Gary from Horncastle (16 September 2016)
Clean, well equipped and comfortable -a great hideaway for a couple of oldies. Lots of help and useful information from the owner. Linda from Nottingham (28 August 2015)
Very nice place. Only the bathroom was quite neglected. Confirmed Purchaser (24 October 2014)
Great little chalet which provided all we needed. Wonderful sea view and a great place to sit out to eat breakfast etc. Easy walking distance for two pubs and a small supermarket with everything you could need. . Michael from Letchworth (05 September 2014)
A pretty small cottage - but probably ok for a short stay. issue with smells. Sofa and cushions stink of smoke. Strange unpleasant smell from under sink. Bathroom musty. . you can see the sea but vegetation has grown upto obscure view quite a bit. Unfortunately it faces south east so no sun after mid morning sitting outside. Not helped by trees either. Also you are very close to next property if sitting outside. Pete from Niton (25 July 2014)
Great place to access walks, especially the coastal path. Secluded environment. Easy to reach most of the island by road. Michael from Reading (18 July 2014)
Perfect place to stay, very nice cottage and clean, there was everything there that we could need and we would certainly go back. Margaret from Montrose, Scotland (13 June 2014)
Great cosy little place. Perfect if you want to escape from the city. Andreea from London (26 May 2014)
Great attention to detail and excellent guest handbook in chalet and well equipped. sadly the trees now obsure the view of the sea and obstruct the light - it felt rather dark and gloomy inside even when sun shining. ideal for one person but storage for a week for two people challenging as there are a number of pieces of display furniture in the chalet for china and only really a small hanging space in the wardrobe, lack of dvd capability in 21st century probably ought to be addressed. would have taken own shower towels because although supplied were rather small. humidity this year a problem so hard to dry stuff. beautfiully peaceful but glad not to be there when all chalets full as they are very close together - great if you want to be sociable! very helpful site manager. lovely to book somewhere that the owner is obviously very proud and fond of. Mary from Leighton Buzzard (27 Jul 2013)
The location and accessibility to the rest of the island from niton is very good. although very small the cabin is nicely presented. bed is particularly comfortable. constant hot water. very quiet location. David from Plymouth (15 Jun 2013)
Quiet,. nice country and coastal walks nearby. Bus service was ok. Good inn(the buddles) for meals and good village store(londis) and open all day sunday /post office Albert from Portsmouth (02 June 2012)
Cosy and compact - well equipped. Customer 12 (August 2010)
The village of Niton was a lovely place to stay in and we are very tempted to come back again possibly next year. Customer 13 (July 2008)
