Curtains and curtain rails in some rooms need attention other wise very good accomodation B J (14 July 2017)
Incredible heat wave meant we spent more time at the lodge than we normally would but with 2 dogs it was nigh on impossible to do anything in the heat of the day. Thankfully the lodge had the comfort and equipment we could have needed..so perfect!! Andy from North Devon (23 June 2017)
Pleasant cottage with enough equipment, picturesque location. Within easy travelling distance for most of the cornwall attractions. Customer 3 (12 May 2017)
Great comfortable accommodation with sea views. We loved the llamas and the easy access footpath to the coast. Louise from Devon (27 March 2017)
Perfect place to get away to, great for dogs we have 2 greyhounds and they loved it. Port isaac is a 20 min walk away. The lodges are all in a good state of repair and the onwers are realy helpful Stuart from Wolverhampton (13 March 2017)
Lovely lodge and very clean. It was lovely to stay somewhere where the dogs were made to feel welcome! would stay again for a holiday! Marion from Ross-On-Wye (17 February 2017)
Good position, spacious, clean, ideal for sight seeing local area. Would certainly consider . coming back. Michael from Nottingham (28 December 2016)
Great location & really good for dogs Alison from Macclesfield, Cheshire (16 September 2016)
Beautiful scenery and peaceful location. The lodge on the whole was fine. . no welcome pack at all, which is strange as emergency numbers, drs, hospital location would be useful. the only down point would be the mess from the chickens, ducks and birds. . we were also unable to leave side door open as the chickens would enter the lodge, also we couldn't use the patio area to eat due to ducks and chicken mess every where and they would also join us on the table. There were also swifts nesting above the sliding doors on the patio, which were making more deposits. the patio would be better fenced in. And encourage swifts to nest at back of property. Other than these problems our stay within the property was fine. Emma from Wakefield (22 July 2016)
Great location, good clean accommodation. Sarah from Surrey (15 July 2016)
An absolutely brilliant place at a brilliant price. Clean and tidy throughout. We used the cottage as a base to explore the local area and it's location is great. The views are fantastic. Loved waking up to see ducks, chickens and alpacas outside the window, something my 1-year old daughter will agree with. Would highly recommend the accommodation. Danny from Birmingham (03 June 2016)
Good location, the lodge was lovely with a fantastic view, but lacked a few essential items: oven trays, tea towels. Rose from Honiton (20 May 2016)
We found the holiday very relaxing, felt very comfortable and enjoyed every minute. Teresa from Winchcombe (29 April 2016)
Good location near to port isaac, lovely sea views, clean and comfortable, play area for the grandchildren Trevor from Lechlade (01 April 2016)
The lodge itself was lovely. Very clean and tidy. Beautiful location and shop nearby although found out too late that there is a supermarket 15 mins away so would have saved a lot of money. Could use a welcome book with info on supermarkets, cash points etc and local attractions as nothing at all. Also little things like soap in the bathroom, a tea towel and washing up liquid would be a nice touch. Also some more info on check out procedure etc. All in all though, a lovely lodge with beautiful views and a great base for visiting local area. Hannah from Belper (28 March 2016)
Loved this place, the only negative is no towels supplied Carol (25 March 2016)

Great relaxing break, enjoyed a quiet winter break walking costal paths with our springer spaniel. Good location, clean lodge, very spacious good views. Would like to visit again in the summer. Lorraine from Hereford (12 December 2014)
We need to find a better and safer footpath route to take you to port izaac next time so we can leave car parked at puffin lodge, it would have helped if farm had local map to help first time visitors but a minor criticism really... put near entrance or in each lodge? Confirmed Purchaser (12 September 2014)
Lovely welcome and beautiful, relaxing setting. All the basics were available in the lodge and we had a wonderful week. May well return in the future, thank you. Jo from Yateley (15 August 2014)

Great location, lovely clean lodges .would definitely go again, big thanks to chris and family Irene from Mow Cop (27 June 2014)
Very good experience on the whole, cooker was a bit temperamental, switched itself off as soon as it reached temperature, had to leave door open for grilling, which the book tells you not to do!but generally equipment met our needs, chipped cups( which were chipped when we arrived-should have been picked up in cleaning)were replaced immediately. Main disappointment for us as dog owners, was no where for dogs to run free on grass,we think it would be relatively easy to fence off an area by the alpacas, for them to have a run, without compromising safety of chickens or alpacas.it does not need to large, just say from the fence across diagonally to alpaca fence, this would make it dog friendly as opposed to just dog welcome,on this point a few more mats on the floor to prevent dogs slipping on the floor would be a good idea. These are small points from a generally very good stay and we would definitely return, the owners were very helpful, and welcoming. Sue piggott-forster mbe Piggott-Forster from Shrewsbury (20 June 2014)
Lovely little lodge with amazing views and easy access to some great walks Rob from Haywards Heath (21 April 2014)

Lovely last minute break. Accommodation great. Need to be fit for walking into Port Isaac, but worth it. Customer 50 (November 2011)
We had a great holiday. Cottage was lovely and very clean. The ducks and chickens walking around and peering through the window were the icing on the cake. Thank you for a lovely holiday. Customer 51 (October 2011)
The location is absolutely amazing - views out to sea from the living room and if you sleep on the right of the bed you can even lay in bed and see the sea - perfect ! Very close to Port Issac and coastal walks. The double bed was a little hard in our opinion. Customer 52 (August 2011)
Quiet location. Very central for exploring North Cornwall. Weather not good but it was March! The Mote and harbour can be recommended for Restaurants. Customer 53 (March 2011)
We liked its location, its comfort and its size. Customer 54 (February 2011)
We stayed in the Dolphin lodge as the puffin lodge was having refurbishments. They are all pretty much the same. All had the same sea view from the patio doors. Same lay out. The accommodation was very comfortable and cosy. Very warm due to central heating. Very user friendly with the dishwasher, adjusting the thermostat and the rest of the general appliances as instruction books were in the drawer. Customer 55 (January 2011)
Wonderful view of the sea (until neighbouring chalet parks car in the way). Oil central heating and insulation of chalet easily coped with the - 2 degree temperature. Customer 56 (November 2010)
Nice, comfortable and warm accommodation. Nice sea views and the ducks, chicken and goats were great company. Easy access to Port Isaac. Owners not at all intrusive. We enjoyed our stay at Puffin Lodge. Customer 57 (October 2010)
Clean, warm, cosy, very welcoming with wonderful views over Port Isaac bay. Customer 58 (September 2010)

Great location. Customer 62 (June 2010)
Excellent location with views of the sea. Plenty of room. Customer 63 (June 2010)
The property was ideal for our needs. Being able to accommodate two dogs without any fuss was a great plus. Customer 64 (May 2010)
Despite large quantities of snow outside the cottage was cosy and warm. Good sea views though a bit spoilt by next door’s parking space. Customer 65 (January 2010)
Spacious and modern, not cluttered. Customer 66 (October 2009)
We had an excellent time, the weather was great of the six full days there we spent 4 entirely on Daymer Beach. The two that drizzled we easily found further attractions to entertain ourselves with.. It was larger than anticipated, did not feel confined at all. Lovely - especially the dishwasher! Customer 67 (August 2009)
The view was great and it was in a really good place to get to places near by. Great holiday and really good accommodation. Customer 68 (July 2009)
Great lodge in a wonderful location with stunning views. Weather was a bit iffy but then again it was early March in the West country! Very dog friendly wherever we went and the beaches and sights were super. Customer 69 (March 2009)
