A lovely place to stay with lots of space. Very clean and nicely decorated. We would definitely consider staying here again. Amanda (12 March 2017)
Excellent cottage for large family gatherings. fabulous views of the estuary. Angela from Upper Stondon (17 February 2017)
Fab house with everything you need, amazing views and very easy access to everything that's on offer on the north norfolk coast. Love how the living accommodation is at the top of the house, you could sit all day watching the world go by. . the only thing I would change is to have curtains up at the living room, just for when it's dark in the winter months. . would definitely go back again. Julie from Lutterworth (16 January 2017)
Will definitely be back!! love the up side down house!! views just perfect, forever changing!! brilliant for relaxing !!! fantastic walks from the house, catch the bus if you want to go further!!! dogs and owners loved the beach and woodland walks! albatross and lifeboat our favourite drinking and eating houses!!! all dog friendly ! fantastic weeks holiday including the xmas tide and markets. Christine from Shepshed (08 December 2016)

Only one difficulty parking for two families! Brenda from Dronfield Derbyshire (30 October 2016)
Pirates lookout is an excellent holiday cottage, finished to a very high standard and we would definitely recommend a visit! it is in a great location with fantastic views of sea. The children ranging from 7-12 especially loved walking to the park, amusements and to the local shops. car parking was always available and very close in the public car park - we would suggest getting the weekly parking ticket as makes life much easier. The cottage itself has four large bedrooms each with good storage and everywhere was well stocked, especially the kitchen. we had a lovely week of crabbing, walking the dog, and relaxing in and around wells. this was a great location for seeing north norfolk. Jane from Bishops Stortford (28 October 2016)
A truly amazing upside down cottage. Spectacular views and central position. Beautifully clean with quality fixtures and fittings. The best we have stayed in and will come again. Barbara from Harwich (17 October 2016)
For a group of 6 adults, eldest being 87, this was a good place to stay. Beautiful view across the harbour from the upstairs lounge and only a short walk to the shops. Plenty of longer walks for those of us that could do them and lots of places to visit within only a few miles. Disabled parking bay on the road outside was useful to us but we were there during october when there were fewer visitors around. Jane from Rugby (07 October 2016)
Slight problems sorted out very promptly and efficiently. Wonderful weather during our stay enabling us to walk the coastal path on most days. The whole cottage had been totally renovated to a high standard recently. New floor a bit creaky in places upstairs and some of the new doors rub slightly on the frames when you try to close them. Paul from Luton (16 September 2016)
We loved the cottage and especially loved wells. Everyone in our party, aged from 3 to 89 is looking forward to returning in the future. Our visit included the august bank holiday weekend and parking did cause a few problems but only over the bank holiday and we did always manage to park on a car park, eventually. Betty from Dudley (02 September 2016)
Great holiday - loved every minute of it - parking a nightmare and considering how much we paid for a weeks holiday at pirates lookout disappointing that parking permits and towels werent included. also we have paid a lot less at similar properties and been left a welcome pack on arrival. Overall had an excellent holiday in a lovely property in a great location. Gill from Newcastle (19 August 2016)
Only found the towels on last day in a unit under the double bed, and had issues with locals sleeping in the park outside the bedroom window (noisey over 3 nights) David from Whitwick (05 August 2016)
We enjoyed all wells next the sea had to offer, the house was so lovely with everything needed, really well thought out by the owners, views and location a plus, Beryl from Nottingham (29 July 2016)
Excellent cottage, perfect for all wells has to offer. Clive from Leicester (15 July 2016)
A beautiful comfortable and well equipped property. Near to childrens excellent playground a lovely walk to the beach and pine woods. A five minute walk to the shops in fact everything you need to make an wonderful holiday base. In fact if you get good weather you couldn't wish for anything better. Jane from Diss Norfolk (03 June 2016)
Pirates lookout is an excellent holiday cottage in a beautiful location. The house is very well equipped and comfortable, ideal for a large family group. There was always plenty of hot water and the enclosed yard was useful for bikes and a dog. Situated by the harbour, all the shops are within walking distance. No parking on site but the car park across the road was fine. The beach is a good walk away but you could drive if it was too far. We enjoyed access to the norfolk coastal path which is well maintained and signposted. Hilary from Bingley. West Yorkshire (20 May 2016)
We loved the cottage. We had everything we needed. location was perfect. we will go and stay there again. Sylvia from Peterborough (17 April 2016)
We stayed here in the easter break, perfect location, cottage was well equipped, clean and accommodated 2 families perfectly, only drawback was there is no parking, however the carpark is opposite and you can get a weekly permit, I would recommend pirates lookout and would book it again in the future. Zoe from Hertfordshire (08 April 2016)
Great accommodation - children loves the rope swing in the pine woods! Jo from Frimley Green (22 March 2016)
Had a wonderful weekend at pirates lookout was great that the whole family (our dogs) could be included, perfect location. Wells beach is perfect for dogs. A little pricey but as we went with another family it didn't work out too bad. Would definitely go again Ange from Northants (13 March 2016)
A comfy house, central and wonderful views of the estuary. Angela from Upper Stondon (19 February 2016)
Fantastic weekend break. We are already planning our next visit! Confirmed Guest (10 January 2016)
A fantastically appointed, well decorated and thoughtful family holiday home. Great views. well positioned to the town and beach which made it enjoyable for young people and dogs alike. . we will be returning for a repeat visit. Deborah from Saffron Walden (04 January 2016)
Lovely clean cottage, with plenty of space. The electric bin and the double shower caused amusement! we would stay again! thank you! Helen from Ely (13 December 2015)
This cottage has been recently renovated to a high standard and is an upside down house, which is ideal for giving lovely views whilst sitting in the lounge/dining area. all bedrooms were spacious and comfy (only downside was the double bed/bunk bed, not ideal for adults). lounge/dining room was spacious enough for nine adults and we particularly liked the round lazy susan dining table. Sheila from Thetford (08 November 2015)
We have just recently stayed at pirates lookout, there were 8 of us plus 2 dogs, this property is very spacious & well laid out, the property is in an amazing location with fantastic views from the lounge & dining room. It is decorated & furnished to a very high standard, has a lovely cosy feel to it, & we would definitely return & recommend this property, an absolute gem. Paul from Leamington Spa (18 October 2015)
A very enjoyable holiday in a well presented cottage. Ross from Newport Pagnell (09 October 2015)
Clean good quality accomodation, recommended Ian from Ware (02 October 2015)
Lovely location, a very well equipped and modern cottage. . overlooking the beautiful quay and great park for the kids. . parking for two cars was also a bonus. Gemma from Bradford (25 September 2015)
A fine house for a great holiday. Our only problem was a granddaughter who is allergic to animals suffered breathing problems. We had not thought of the implications of staying in a pet-friendly house. Angela from Norwich (31 July 2015)
Absolutely fantastic cottage which was ideally located for my daughter as extremely close to all amenities including a lovely park. Great holiday overall. Clare from Reading (29 May 2015)
