Hi,. . i'm sorry we had to leave so early in the morning without the chance to say how much we had enjoyed our stay at 'pippins'.we will certainly return at a later date.it's our third visit to the area and on this occasion we brought our friends over from france .they have fallen in love with the area and the cottage.they even enjoyed the cool, rainy conditions, after the . excessive heat of southern france.we all feel relaxed and refreshed after our holiday. Yvonne from Liskeard (04 August 2017)
The cottage was fantastic and everything was thought off. The only thing was a little disappointing was the power in the showers. Overall a great stay. Confirmed Guest (28 July 2017)
We wanted a long weekend of complete relaxation. Pippins is comfortable, with a very well equipped kitchen and luxuries such as a bluray dvd player. The views are stunning, and you can go for walks without using the car. We had a lovely bbq on the patio one evening. Superstores such as tesco and aldi are very close by in llandrindod wells (about 15 min drive). we had a lovely time and will definitely come again. Meike from Fairford (02 July 2017)
Lovely, beautifully equipped and tastefully furnished cottage, set in well-kept gardens. The photos don't do the views justice. Well worth a stroll down the tracks around the farm and a short hike to the top of the hill just behind the garden, for 360 degree panoramic views, which are breathtaking. . . lots of nice places to visit within a reasonable driving distance, and llandrindod just down the road. We recommend the owl centre in kington, about a forty minute drive from the cottage and watching the kites being fed at gringin farm in rhayader (25 mins away). . . the owners are friendly and helpful but keep a respectful distance so you can enjoy your holiday in privacy. . . wifi fine for emails and surfing, but doesn't like more than one device at a time, generally. . . would definitely return, we have stayed in quite a few high-end properties and for the cost, this one was probably the best. We spent the spring bank week at pippins. if you are looking for a place to stay in beautiful surroundings that is well equipped, comfortable and clean then this is the place. we have stayed in a number of cottage across the uk and this is by far the best. The cottage has everything we needed during our break. the beds were fabulous and the bedrooms were almost like hotel rooms they were so nice. Everything is exceptionally clean. . . we took our dog with us who also loved it. the facilities for the dog were excellent. . we were provided with the cottage information before we arrived which was helpful for us. . the owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. pippins is just next door to the owners home however you hardly notice. . we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at pippins. Laila from Yorkshire (02 June 2017)
The view from the cottage is excellent. Definitely recommended for anyone who loves to enjoy a calm and peaceful holiday away from the city. Loved this place to the core. Renjith from Birmingham (16 April 2017)
We were first in. Decorated and equipped as if the owners intended to spend the rest of their lives there. Watching the wide variety of birds feeding outside the window over breakfast was a joy. Llandod(sic) is an hours, delightful walk across field and river. Danny from Brighton (14 April 2017)
