Excellent well equipped cottage in very pleasant and well located town. . a few points to consider: the drive is vety nsrroe and no space to tutn round, so be good ay reversing. the stsirs are steep and narrow at the top snd the upstairs floors are on a slope, so a challenge for the less mobile. . . the garden is very nice, quiet and sunny and you are within yards of shops, restaurants and pubs. Russell from Great Sutton (19 May 2017)
Lovely cottage, home from home with excellent amenities. Home in very good decorative order throughout. . lovely garden and close to town resources and in a great position to local tourist attractions. Can't wait to return. Teresa from Canterbury (17 April 2017)
Beautiful, tastefully decorated cottage in a lovely, georgian town.very comfy bed and welcoming log burner. Cosy for 2 but would be rather cramped for 4 Richard from Grimsby (24 March 2017)
Pippin cottage is everything you could want for a short break in norfolk. situated right in holt, it's an easy walk to shops and places to eat and not far to drive to all the lovely beaches and places of interest in norfolk. the owners have thought of everything, super comfy beds, luxury towels, perfectly equipped kitchen and a lovely little log burner in the sitting room. we had a very happy stay there over new year and would recommend the cottage to anyone who is interested in visiting this part of the uk. thank you for providing us with such a lovely home away from home. Mrs P from Welwyn (02 January 2017)
Pippin cottage delivered totally. Very well renovated and equipped, a great little cottage in an ideal location off the high street in holt. Totally what we were looking for. In addition, given we got there after 9pm and had a problem with the keys, the owner paul moved quickly and efficiently to sort things out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend highly. Jez from Brighton (31 October 2016)
A beautiful, well-furnished, well-equipped cottage with a sweet garden and in a convenient but quiet position in holt town centre. . a couple of downsides:. the boiler was set to hot water only, no central heating, when we arrived mid-october. We were able to change that. The drive is quite narrow with space for 1 small/medium car - but there's free on-street parking about 100yds up the road. Ros from Sheffield (14 October 2016)
A lovely cottage in a great location. The double bed was very comfortable which is important when you need to rest and wind down. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Karen from Derbyshire (30 September 2016)
Gone to great lengths to make sure everything you need is there. Well done Customer 8 from Stafford (23 September 2016)
A lovely cottage in a perfect position for exploring north norfolk. Stan from St Helens (16 September 2016)
Loved the location, ideal for exploring the coast from blakeney to sea palling. . . very comfortable cottage with lots of equipment. The little courtyard garden was beautiful. . . did struggle with the 'everhot' range in that it was never hot! only managed to use the grill.. Chris from Coventry (02 September 2016)
We had a wonderful week at pippin cottage. an extremely comfortable cottage, beautifully appointed by the owners with everything there to make your holiday a success. The garden was a real pleasure to sit in and caught the sunshine in the morning for breakfast as well as the evening for a relaxing hour or so under the apple tree at the back of the garden. it was a very peaceful location but less than a minute from the main shopping area of holt with all the glorious shops that place has to offer. . . we found the cooker a challenge but only because we didn't read the instructions properly and didn't realise it takes a while to heat up! the microwave was very useful though and eating out in holt and it's surrounds is always a pleasure. . this has to be one of the best cottages we have stayed in and we will certainly be visiting it again in the future. Jill from Shropshire (19 August 2016)
Sweet little cottage with secluded garden in good location for north norfolk. Comfortable for 4 people. Tricky using aga. Would suggest a blind or net at window of bedroom with twin beds; this room overlooks the street which is busy in daytime. Lt was frustrating having to draw curtains every time we wanted to change clothes in the day. Otherwise, was comfortable, clean and pleasant place to stay. Cheryl from South Yorkshire (12 August 2016)
Very nice comfortable cottage, with plenty of room for 4 adults. This was very clean and modern and nicely decorated. Also lovely soft beds. . the range oven was a little hard to regulate if you are not used to using this type of oven. But for a quick breakfast it was fine. Anita from Whittlesey, Cambs. (30 May 2016)
Wonderful stay at pippin cottage. Exellent base for travel around norfolk. perhaps a fixed rail on the stairs rather than a rope would be better for safety as the stairs are steep which we were made aware of at time of booking.( this however would not stop us from staying here again.) pippin cottage was clean and the beds very comfortable. Bed linen and towels were of high quality. Fully fitted kitchen with everything you could need for your stay. Holt is a beautiful town and pippin cottage is very central for shops and amenities. We would highly recommend pippin cottage and would be happy to stay there again. Thank you for the welcome pack it was greatly appreciated. Gemma from Livingston Scotland (27 May 2016)
A fantastic stay, perfect location in a lovely, friendly town. I used to visit this area as a child regularly and it was wonderful to bring my daughter and husband back to an area which hasn't changed too much, and has improved with age! the cottage is beautiful and comfortable, with all you need to make it home from home. Holt is a lovely town with plenty to see and do. The restaurants are good and shops very varied. Would recommend this property to all my friends and family. Claire from Bedfordshire (01 April 2016)
