This is second stay at this apartment. Still lovely and clean and has everything you need at hand. Claire is a fab caretaker and very helpful if you have any problems. Louise from Telford (08 June 2017)
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for a family. Claire was very helpful and friendly. the apartment was well equipped. Although the apartment has no wifi we were able to use a bt hotspot which helped. The only downside was the road noise. Berenice (28 April 2017)
2nd visit to this apartment. Would highly recommend. Very comfortable and warm with easy access to local shops and beach short walk away. within 5 minute drive to town centre. Claire always gives great greeting and is very helpful. Elizabeth from Charfield (25 November 2016)
This was our third stay at the apartment. We like the location, the place was clean, well equipped, has 2 bathrooms and off street parking. On the downside the noise from traffic has increased since out first visit in 2013, but this did not caused a problem during the night sleep wise. Kim from Bury St Edmunds (04 November 2016)
This was my 2nd stay in this lovely, comfortable apartment and it did not disappoint. The location is excellent, close to the seafront and to all the shops. The apartment itself is very well appointed and well equipped. I had a very warm welcome from claire. Confirmed Guest (09 September 2016)
Our 3rd visit. everything is very good with a couple of exceptions. the door to the block and the door to the flat are both difficult to lock / unlock. we run a charity so even on holiday we need to be able to access our email account. with no offering in the flat we turned to bt but their connection failed several times a day. it is the poor email which may prompt us to look elsewhere. however the inclusion of a reliable internet connection, which is included in the many other properties we visit, would stop our investigating other properties. Roger from Bournemouth (01 April 2016)
Lovely apartment. Was absolutely spotless & the caretaker was a fantastic help Bob from Nuneaton (13 March 2016)
Myself and my wife, who has mobility difficulties, book this apartment as although it was on the 1st floor, had lift access. Unfortunately the lift was damaged during the our week and was out of order for nearly 24hrs, which meant we were unable to leave the apartment during this time. In addition we did not expect to have to negotiate a bicycle and shoes in the narrow passageway from the lift to the apartment . the apartment was well appointed, comfortable and reasonably clean, the carpet in the lounge could have done with a clean, but we appreciate that it is the end of a busy season for this apartment. The apartment is close to the next block of apartments and windows in the lounge and bedroom overlook the apartments in this block, therefore it was necessary to keep the curtains on that side of the lounge and bedroom always closed to obtain privacy. . the apartment is near a busy roundabout but noise from this and busy road passing the apartment was minimal. Parking was designated for the apartment in the adjacent car park, but bays were rather narrow especially when a van was parked in the next bay. Roger from Holbeach, Spalding (09 October 2015)
Lovely apartment overlooking the park. Clean and spacious. Handy kitchen utensils etc (the basics provided). within walking distance to supermarket and the sea. Small amount of noise ie footsteps from apartment above but not enough to disturb. Designated car parking space was great as parking rather tight round the housing estate. Would go back there again. Jane from Bucks (11 September 2015)
The apartment was clean, tidy and well-appointed, and the booking and arrangements for access were easy to make. We particularly appreciated being able to have the apartment for only a couple of days given nearly everyone else in the area had a seven day minimum booking requirement in place. The lady who met us to give us access was really friendly and approachable. Nikki from Birmingham (06 September 2015)
Great base for us, slightly noisy from adjacent road, otherwise great. John from Haslingden (07 August 2015)
Good overall, the location was a bit disappointing as I thought it would be nearer the sea David from Luton (24 July 2015)
This apartment is very spacious and comfortably furnished. . the only thing that lets it down is the traffic noise. It is loud and constant. This renders the balcony unusable. Confirmed Guest (17 July 2015)
First time at this apartment. would definitely return. Nice location and surprisingly quiet. Very well furnished and comfortable. Good to be very close to bus routes and walking. Distance to shops. Nice welcome from caretaker. Another good find in eastbourne. Elizabeth from Wotton-Under-Edge (12 June 2015)
What a lovely place! can't recommend high enough. We used it as a base to go to brighton to see friends as brighton was far to expensive. Only thing i'd like to see added would be free wifi as that is something we all use these days. But overall would stay again no problem. Paul from Ferndown/Bournemouth. (12 April 2015)
This was a wonderful flat with a brilliant caretaker who took a lot of trouble- but I prefer a quieter stay. I guess that I am not familiar with life in a flat next to a busy road. The flat provided just what we needed at that time- so thank you. Cathy from Sheffield (24 October 2014)
We stayed here for a 40 something girls weekend away, just the 3 of us. Was very impressed with eastbourne. Just a 5 min walk to the shingle beach. Good shops in the town centre and retail park by the marina. Nice restaurants in marina. Lovely modern apartment. Made to feel welcome by the key holder. I slept in a single bed which was comfy. The main bathroom could have done with a shower but it was adequate as we shared the other one. the only downside was the traffic noise, which you can hear in the front room and twin room. However I was expecting it after reading the other reviews. Dawn from Reading (05 October 2014)
A lovely spacious and comfortable apartment. Very clean. Claire extremely hospitable and helpful. Gabriella from London (19 September 2014)
Excellent holiday apartment so clean and comfortable. Only small problem is traffic noise and no view from balcony . clare the caretaker, lovely lady. Trudie from Hempstead Gillingham Kent (12 September 2014)
This was our second stay at penshurst apartment. It was clean, comfortable and claire, the caretaker, made us feel very welcome. Kim from Bury St Edmunds (09 May 2014)
Fantastic apartment would go back. Debbie from Little Neston (30 March 2014)
We usually stay in a cottage , pref old one, & although flat was quite ok. It just confirms that we prefer a cottage. Tony from Reading (14 March 2014)
Very well equipped, spotlessly clean accommodation and a lovely warm welcome. Will definitely be back. Dawn from Carlisle (04 November 2013)
Everything very good except the door to the apartment which was heavy and difficult to unlock. in my view this could have safety implications for escape in case of fire. So I would qualify my answer below by saying "on the whole". Roland from Norwich (01 November 2013)
Very comfortable and clean apartment Keith from Hertfordshire (25 October 2013)
A lovely, spacious, well equipped flat. the traffic noise and location on a modern development which was still under construction came as a disappointment, but it was easy to park and not far from the prom along which you could walk for 40mins to the centre of eastbourne. Pat from Sw London (11 October 2013)
2 bathrooms, spacious lounge with view over parkland, very enjoyable walk to centre of eastbourne, tescos very close Margitta from Slough (05 Jul 2013)
Modern, spacious, immaculately clean, and very well equipped. Brian from Chesterfield (14 Jun 2013)
Beautiful apartment, well equiped. Very clean Jennifer from Margate (24 May 2013)
This is a ideal apartment,we could not fault it in any way, everything was there it was close to bus stop which could take you in any direction it was just excellent. David from Melksham (03 May 2013)
A beautiful, comfortable and well equipped apartment set on the edge of town. Food shopping very easy with a very good Tesco just 5 minutes walk away. A regular bus service runs into the centre but in the winter it does stop around 10.30 pm so unless travelling by car it is necessary to eat out during the daytime or get a taxi back. Customer 31 (November 2012)
Warm welcome (not sure of welcome pack) very clean and comfortable Debi from Bourne End Bucks (31 August 2012)
Very comfortable apartment. Every convenience, quiet in the evenings. liked the balcony and patio dooors. Angela from Ebbw Vale (29 June 2012)
Great location, the apartment is very well presented and has all the mod cons needed for a lovely holiday, its very spacious. Teresa from Manchester (22 June 2012)
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment, fantastic location for everything that is on offer in Eastbourne and surrounding areas, the harbour is a must. Easy train journey in to Brighton. Customer 35 (June 2012)
