Very large property. Comfortable and homely . needed a good clean though. Confirmed Guest (29 July 2017)
In this place all the sofas nead to be changed and the shower are not good enough. Good location and nice garden Irf from Leicester (21 July 2017)
Lovely location, feels like a family home. Jane (24 June 2017)
We were 5 adults and 4 kids and we all loved the place. . . great classic place for big family and kids. House has all the necessary things and welcomed with some scones, shortbread and clotted cream. . . could easily park two big cars and has space for one more. . . rooms were nice, clean and tidy. Some bed rooms were stunning. . . did experience problems with internet however we all were connected using our own mobile data connection. Paras from Oxford (12 June 2017)
Great layout and extremely comfortable for a good holiday. Owner was very helpful when she rang us a few days before departure. Only minor critism was the oven seemed to take a long time when cooking items as if the seal on it needed renewing or repairing but all in all a stunning property in a private location. Would stay there again. David from Lincoln (03 September 2016)
Although pennard is a wonderful size and in a good location the house itself was not up to the standards expected. It was very dated, there was visible damp and the house was not clean. Some furniture was broken and some of the towels were almost threadbare. The showers were pretty lacklustre. Overall for the standard of the property it was not good value for money. Tracey from Penn (06 August 2016)
Plenty of space for big family/crowd and the location is good. Could do with updating i.e. Carpet, some appliances such as the fridge/freezer, dryer are quite old otherwise we were well provided with equipments Confirmed Guest (03 June 2016)
Excellent, very enjoy Confirmed Guest (28 March 2016)
This property is ideally situated. It is in the less busy part of camborne but you can easily get into town. Pennard is a very spacious property with everything you could think of that you would need. The interior is very personal to the property owners and it's like visiting your grandma and grandads house. The owners are very thoughtful and if there are any issues, are easily contacted. We would recommend this property. Customer 9 from South Yorkshire (25 March 2016)
Lovely location and plenty big enough to be comfortable but sadly has a bit of a damp problem Gemma from Birmingham (26 September 2015)
10 of us stayed in half-term week - 5 adults, 3 teens, a toddler & a baby, plus dog. There was plenty of space indoors and out, and the cottage was very well equipped. It could do with a bit of tlc outside (including the garden), some of the decor is dated, and we found the bed in the main bedroom a bit uncomfortable. All that said, we enjoyed our stay and would go again. The position is excellent for moving around west cornwall, and a choice of supermarkets within 3 or 4 miles. Bob from Cheltenham (30 May 2015)
This was the perfect place for our group of 8. Christine from Bristol (01 May 2015)
We are two families, 7 adults and 2 babies, that is excellent for us! it is lovely house. Everything is good. It is better than expectations. Good size bedrooms, kitchen and dinner room, luxury living room, lovely garden, etc. I love it so much! we are so happy in the house! Luting from Oxford (17 March 2015)
Idea for a family get together Susan from Tadley (25 October 2014)
We enjoyed our stay at this home, our only problem was finding it as the road it's in has no name. Once there it's a home from home with all utilities and more. Lovely beach not too faraway and other places of interest within easy driving distance. Linda from Essex (30 August 2014)
Our family group ranged from 12 yrs to 83 yrs (plus dog) and this bungalow gave us a great space for our multi generation holiday. Close to beautiful coastline, a great beach at portreath, the a30 and a 24hr tesco. . the property has all the equipment required for a comfortable stay including a very efficient central heating system. . if you want to be picky, the bathrooms and some of the living room furniture would benefit from being upgraded and I suspect the property does have an underlying damp problem resulting in a slight musty smell when the bungalow has been shut up. Neither of these things bothered us or stopped us enjoying our stay however. Sarah from Wilmslow (23 August 2014)
Despite an excellent location the overwhelming smell of mustiness created by the soft furnishings ruined our holiday. It is not young child friendly with damaged gates and irregular paving. The external cleanliness was compromised by recently departed builders and above all the owner will not change things as she sees no fault in the property. Peter from Lichfield (02 August 2014)
Second visit to the bungalow, loved it but desperate for refurb, furniture in lounge so old and had must be at least 30 years old, cushioning gone on sofas, curtains in whole house are so dusty in desperate need if washing. Bathrooms avocado really old. Great location and great place for family groups which we were, all adults youngest bring 25 oldest 50+, so all want comfort. Would go back but only if able to be more comfortable. . no reflection on the hospitality shown in arrival, just update the place please, please!! Louise from Lincoln (07 June 2014)
This place is fantastic ! located very centrally, there is a 24hr tesco just about a mile down the road. The house is kept very clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend this to any family of over 8 people. Ankit from London (17 May 2014)
We had a marvellous stay in some of the worst weather experienced locally. Very comfortable and ideal for our family gathering. The owner could not have been nicer and we thoroughly recommend this property. Will have no hesitation in stopping again. Geoffrey from Heathfield (07 February 2014)
My very major concern was the very strong smell of damp throughout the property. I did my best to open all windows but the master bedroom was the worst all week. We could not open the large patio doors on either side of the house which would also have let some fresh air in. The house was great space wise and very well equipped but the owner needs to deal with the huge trees, the persistent wasps attracted by the tree sap and the need to make the garden more secure from the road. There is no drive gate and I was constantly concerned about my 15month old twin grandsons when getting into the car! the house also needs good easy chairs and new carpets in places. Janice from Milton Keynes (24 August 2013)
Excellent location and comfort. Worth coming back again. My daughter enjoyed the most and we celebrated her 6th birthday in this cottage. Confirmed Purchaser (27 May 2013)
Large family home on one level, have every bit of kit you could possible need! fabulous lounge room with wall of glass that the sun delightfully streams through . 2 bath 3 toilets. Kids had a ball in garden which has lots of paths and hiding places for them. We had 10 people there comfortably. Catherine from Gerrards Cross (08 April 2013)
We had a lovely time in this comfortable and homely bungalow. Although there were ten of us there was plenty of equipment. We really appreciated the basket of welcome foods when we arrived having travelled all day from the north of England. The weather was fantastic and this is very pretty time to visit Cornwall and not too busy. Customer 24 (March 2012)
The cottage was very comfortable and as perfect for our group of 8. It was useful having the sofabed in the second lounge so that the two single men in our party could have their own room. The owners were very generous with their welcoming pack at the cottage - the scones and clotted cream were much appreciated!! An excellent place for a base to explore the beautiful beaches of Gwithian and Godrevy and close to great woodland walks. Customer 25 (August 2011)
The accommodation is enormous and is equipped with absolutely everything you could need on holiday and a lot more besides! Customer 26 (June 2011)
