This was a great cottage to stay in, the only thing that stopped it getting a 10 was the lack of a garden. Susan from Bursledon (02 July 2017)
Lovely weekend at a beautiful cottage that was big enough for us to get the family together. Julie (01 May 2017)
We had a lovely weekend. We all enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would have been better was the yard was not really suitable for our dog. there was quite a walk to find grass as the grass by the car park had been fenced off. A caffetier would have been good. Linda from Huntingdon (23 April 2017)
Cottage in need of attention, windowsills cracking and had holes in ( downstairs bedroom), radiators rusty and controls painted so couldnt change settings, no information in book for heating. showers were a problem, either too hot or ice cold if tried to change control mid shower as couldnt seem to get a medium heat( shower room) also the water pressure not good, cottage for upto 9 people not enough cooking bowls or pans, baking trays. Location a bit misleading although pub chemist and local shop very close anywhere else was a good 20-30 mins drive. Internet down due to bad weather, owner very helpful in getting it back on but we were without for 2-3 days which was a problem as child in our party is disabled and relies on it, one of the main reasons we pick cottages with wifi. No welcome pack, this is the fourth time we have been away at this time of year and have always had at least a box of chocs, not major problem but perhaps a suggestion, and the cottage could have been more festive. Nothing major as I have said we enjoyed our stay and the cottage is lovely just needs a bit of attention to detail for the price Deb from Cheshire (04 January 2017)
This was a beautiful and comfortable house, everything we could have needed ,we had a wonderful weekend would love to go back and explore everything that the area has to offer . thank you Caitlin from Hampton (20 November 2016)
Fantastic. booked again already Lynn from Brandon Suffolk (17 October 2016)
Beautiful cottage. Tastefully renovated and spotlessly clean. Would have loved a real fire too but that's a small price to pay for such a fantastic place. Comfy beds and lots of appliances if needed would highly recommend Alison from Birmingham (02 October 2016)
Really impressed with the cottage. Everything was in perfect working order and very modern. All members of our group were highly impressed with the value for money it represented and the quality of the property. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Simon from Helsby (25 September 2016)
We had a fantastic weekend at pendref! we were a group of 4 adults and 4 kids, and were more than comfortably accommodated in the 5 bedrooms. This accommodation surpassed all expectations and was literally a home from home. The house is well furnished and well equipped: each bedroom had a wardrobe (complete with many velour hangers), set of drawers, dressing table (complete with travel hairdryer) and bedside tables (with lovely lamps. The beds were comfortable and made up with fresh clean bedding. Each bed also had 2 fresh, clean, soft towels laid out (a hand towel and a large bath sheet). the bathrooms were beautifully decorated in a contemporary style and were stocked with toilet rolls and hand soap. The showers had a good pressure and temperature control. In the kitchen, there was everything you could possibly need to cook absolutely anything, from baking cakes (if you are so inclined), to a full sunday roast dinner. From a quality set of kitchen knives and cooking utensils, to plastic storage containers, there was everything that you might find in a well established home kitchen! the even more pleasing thing, was that it was all in excellent clean condition! the place was immaculate! not a mark or speck of grime to be found on, or in,any of the appliances. We made use of the oven, the grill, the toaster, the fridge, the freezer, the hobs, the dishwasher..and all were in perfect working order and of the highest specification. The tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, biscuits, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, etc, that were provided, were a really welcome touch to enable us to enjoy our stay comfortably. . though the village is pretty small with just a small shop and pub, the property is in an excellent location to explore the north west coast line of wales; we enjoyed a day trip out to caernarfon. It is also perfect for exploring inland within the region of snowdonia. There is lots to do within comfortable driving distance and we found ourselves planning an exciting itinerary for our next visit, which will undoubtedly be for significantly longer than 2 nights. The many leaflets of places of interest and attractions in the region, (which were beautifully arranged on the 10 place dining table on our arrival), helped us to make our plans!. . I would not hesitate to recommend this place to family and friends (in fact, I already have!), and will definitely be returning to enjoy this fantastic part of the world in comfort and style!. . ps when I asked my 10 year old son what the best thing about this house was, he replied "the massive tv with netflix, and all the dvd's" - the tv, many dvd's, cd's and books were definitely another bonus when winding down from a busy day out! Sabrina from Bolton (11 September 2016)
Lovely clean and modern. Excellent for families or groups would recommend. John from Liverpool (04 September 2016)
You must have invested lot of money in it and you deserve to get it back. Yes we could have done with another sofa set but we managed it. In all other respects it was brilliant. Neighbours are cooperative and friendly. The ground-floor en-suit is the real attraction for. the families with elderly persons. Parking may be limited but side roads are very quiet so no issue there. I would recommend the families to enjoy a relaxed break, a homely feeling on holidays. Iftikhar from Solihull (19 August 2016)
