Good clean accomodation local pub nearby, nice walks and good position for visiting north and south coasts. Judith from Northamptonshire (31 March 2017)
Clean and nicely decorated cottage within half an hour drive to towns such as penzance and st ives. The cottage has everything we need. It is in an ideal rural location so no shops or restaurants nearby within walking distance, with the exception of one pub. There is tesco supermarket about 5 minutes drive away. . only minor criticisms are that there were few cooking utensils, the walls were thin so you could hear the neighbours, and the wifi is non-existent unless you're outside the cottage. We were out most days so this didn't really bother us. Confirmed Guest (03 September 2016)
Very comfortable stay. Great location. Only criticism would be that the wifi did not work very well. Kevin from Milton Keynes (25 June 2016)
We enjoyed our stay at crofty and the underfloor heating was a bonus as it was quite cold outside. handy for north and south coasts of cornwall and the nearby grass area for our dog to play ball. Jeanne from Torquay, Devon (20 February 2016)
Owner very helpful cottage very clean Diane from Nottingham (08 February 2016)
The directions need updating as the double mini roundabout has been replaced by traffic lights, limited cooking equipment Confirmed Guest (29 January 2016)
Booked for a week away - ideal for base for doing various activities. Central location for walks on north, south & west coast which are approx 10 - 15 miles drive away. Local pub - the countryman, food great, ales good & friendly staff. Nearby redruth - the meadery - good night out (you need the mead!!!). overall - can't fault the place as a self catering relaxing break away. Martyn from Hereford (10 October 2015)
Perfect base for exploring all part of cornwall and lots of local places of interest too. Spotless, clean & tidy. Compact, but has everything you need. Hilary from Monmouth (03 October 2015)
Crofty was smaller than I thought it would be but had everything we needed and was comfortable. Dog enjoyed all the lovely walks and it is well sited to visit the lizard, lands end, st ives, falmouth and all our favourite places! owner was helpful and you can take dogs into the local pub the countryman, where we had a warm welcome and lovely food! directions to crofty were difficult to follow and it was a good thing that we had the sat nav! would go again . Lynda from Stourbridge (19 September 2015)
Yes inside was lovely. Outside could do with a little more tlc. Confirmed Guest (31 July 2015)
It was very suitable for my needs Gill from Rochester (27 June 2015)
We were very satisfied with the accommodation and would recommend staying there to everyone, it was a very central position to tour cornwall Sheila from Ascot, Berkshire (13 June 2015)
The cottage is well appointed and very clean. All of the essentials are provided and the underfloor heating worked perfectly. As dog owners we found the pleasant and easily accessible paths, and the scenery delightful. We would happily book the same location again Mike from Dilton Marsh (27 January 2015)
Great place to stay . Peter from Isle Of Man (12 December 2014)
A very well run and friendly environment. Keith from Newport (21 November 2014)
On first inpression it was good. The bed was very soft now have an aching back. The shower/ taps made the pipes knock badly. had to hit the oven to make it work. All in all very average... Tina from Leicestershire (23 August 2014)
Very comfortable accommodation; great location for seeing that part of cornwall. Pamel (24 May 2014)
Excellent location for our purposes, visiting relations, but a bit far from the coast if you are looking for a beach holiday. There are plenty of other attractions nearby, we particularly liked heartlands. Carole from Stroud (30 November 2013)
The cottage was very clean and well layed out. The only issue is that walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbours are up to. Sid from Milton Keynes (05 October 2013)
Excellent hosts, clean and modern Peter (13 April 2013)
Fantastic location in the heart of Cornwall - most of what is worth visiting is approximately 30 mins away. Supermarkets nearby, great playground to keep the kids busy (along with the chickens and rabbits early in the morning). Couldnt have asked for a better first time experience in Cornwall. The fact that one family in the cottage adjoining ours had visited three years in row speaks for itself. A credit to the owners. Customer 21 (August 2011)
Very well located property, we found it very easy to get to the places of interest we wanted to see (St Michels Mount, Minack Theatre, St Ives, Falmouth etc). Owners very helpful and cottage well equipped and comfortable. The nearby pub, The Countryman was well worth visiting, good food and entertainment, made to feel very welcome. Customer 22 (April 2011)
Excellent property, clean and tidy, very well presented, nicely furnished, everything provided. Customer 23 (September 2010)
Was well situated to explore Cornwall. Had everything we need to be able to cook and eat at the cottage. The overall finish on the property was very pleasing and comfortable. The only thing I would say is that the bed could do with being a little more sturdy and comfortable! Customer 24 (August 2010)
High spec apartment, felt new, was clean and had soap, tea, coffee etc left for us, very welcoming, they made our 3month old welcome! Customer 25 (June 2010)
Newly refurbished. Modern decor and fittings. Loved the absence of carpets!!!! Customer 26 (May 2010)
Very comfortable, made the holiday very enjoyable. Customer 27 (May 2010)
We would come back and stay at Carnkie Farm again with no worries. We had every thing that we wanted for our stay. Rooms a nice size and everything to a very high standard. We was greeted by the owners on our arrival and felt very welcome. If you do stay at Carnkie Farm we recommend that you go to Carn Bea Castle - just across the road and along a short track (cars can go up the road). We had a brilliant meal on our last night and this concluded our break. We wished the owners had left a Visitors Book, we would have loved to have left a message (although we did leave a Thank You card). Customer 28 (November 2009)
The accommodation was central for access to Cornwall including Penzance, Falmouth within 30mins, Boscastle 90mins, Port Isac 60mins and will need a car. Tesco Extra within 10mins. Out in the country and quiet. Showering and cooking facility excellent. Customer 29 (September 2009)
This is a well appointed, clean, modern property. Generally well equipped. It is well located for travelling west Cornwall and in a quiet area. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Customer 30 (August 2009)
