Great accommodation - well equipped and comfortable. Disappointing that the pub is closed so no local amenities. Helen from Wakefield (04 August 2017)
Brilliant stay, great house for a large family gathering. Brian from Broxbourne (02 June 2017)
An excellently-appointed cottage in beautiful surroundings. It would be hard to find a better place - though the stairs can be a challenge to the less physically able. I would recommend it without hesitation. Confirmed Guest (26 May 2017)
Lovely house next to brooke all amenities you need plenty of parking. Carol from Berks (27 March 2017)
The house was wonderful, the open plan layout very good for a group of friends. Kitchen was very well equiped. Twin room very small with even smaller en suite wc, no good for tall people on the top floor because of low beams. Lovely area for walking. Close to malvern but not quick because of winding roads. The gym is up at the hall about a mile away. Very quiet location. Would be lovely in the summer as large outdoor seating area next to a stream. Mainly double beds so cosy if two adults sharing (i am used to a six foot bed!) very friendy housekeeper and staff. We went to the theatre in malvern and visited ludlow, hereford and worcester so plenty to do in the area. Lovely walks along the hills, or drive along jubilee drive with short easy access walk for the less able. Highly recommended. Bridget from Chester (20 March 2017)
Lovely stay. Will be back hopefully Sarah (06 March 2017)
Gorgeous, characterful cottage - loads of space of ten of us. fantastic secluded location, wonderful conversion of an old (now listed) tudor style building. Richard from Woking (13 February 2017)
Superb property, with loads of beautiful walks on hand, even in january, and great malvern waitrose only 10 mins drive away, even though property is in a beautiful rural location. Trevor from Bishops Stortford (16 January 2017)
Beautiful historic house in a charming area - close to malvern and plenty of walks nearby. I rent a house every winter for 9 adults and this was by far the cleanest we have had in 7 years. Very impressed and hope to return ! Confirmed Guest (28 November 2016)
Wonderful well equipped property and ideal for a family celebration . charming owners who made us very welcome . we will return - always the best recommendation . Confirmed Guest (05 November 2016)
Lovely accomodation and location. Just think a 10am leaving time was too early. Confirmed Guest (24 October 2016)
We had a great week in a beautiful house and setting. There were a few minor problems which were quickly sorted by louise, although the outside lights didn't work throughout our stay. Sandra from Reading (03 October 2016)
Fantastic property in the heart of the countryside. some wonderful walks are literally on the doorstep. particularly impressed with the level of equipment in the house, meant that we could do real home cooking. often we have found that holiday rentals only provide the bare minimum of a few plates and saucepans. . we absolutely loved our stay. Neil from Alsager (12 September 2016)
Beautiful cottage and surrounding area. Highly recommended. Confirmed Guest (22 August 2016)
A lovely house in a peaceful ,picturesque location . well equipped with most of what you will need during the stay ,despite its rural location it is ideally placed for malvern -just a short drive away - and most of the attractions in the area . Charles from Suffolk (09 May 2016)
Perfect place for a lovely family gathering, thoroughly recommend Steve from Tottington (25 April 2016)
Very clean, . . . . . lovely house. enjoyed our week very much, happy to return again. only criticism, wash basins in some of the bathrooms are small. all living and bedrooms are good sizes. Barbara from Sutton Surrey (08 April 2016)
It was a lovely house, full of character and plenty of room. 10 of us stayed the weekend, great location, comfortable rooms, bathrooms looked very fresh and newly refurbed. kitchen equipment and crockery good quality. will definitely visit again. Jenny from Warwick (21 March 2016)
Beautiful, characterful house with excellent bedrooms for everyone and a really comfortable living area. Very well equipped, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Lovely garden too. Top bedroom is like the attic in the children of green knowe, a bit magical. Was slightly surprised to find it in a village with ordinary houses opposite, as the description makes it sound like part of a country estate, but the road is quiet. Might be noisy if the pub next door reopened! lovely walks from the door but no pub in easy walking distance. We used the stair gate propped up to stop the dogs going upstairs, a built in stair gate or fittings to attach it would be ideal. We were slightly surprised that the housekeeper needed to start cleaning half an hour before our 10am checkout, luckily the people in the top bedroom had already gone home. but these are very minor niggles, we had a lovely weekend in this excellent house and would come again for a special occasion. Sue from Ipswich (22 February 2016)
Beautiful, warm house, immaculately presented and in a stunning setting. Everything we, as a large group, needed. Thank you! Zoe from Kettering (15 February 2016)
We are a party of four couples and holiday together each year. we found brook house to be located in a very beautiful area with walks to suit all abilities and several places to visit . the house was well planned and very comfortable, the kitchen had plenty of storage with a good range of equipment. we had a wonderful time and all agreed that brook house was one of the best places we had stayed in. Terry from March (04 January 2016)
Great cottage for family get togethers - will definatley return Steve from Manchester (23 November 2015)
A great holiday house and a great holiday. The house was perfect for our large group. Mary from Biggleswade (30 October 2015)
Excellent venue for a break with family and friends. Short drive into malvern or the hills. Plenty of rural area around the house. Would use again Sally from Kidderminster (12 October 2015)
We had an excellent long weekend at brook house Celia from Carmarthen (05 October 2015)
Excellent accommodation. Pity that the pub next door is not currently open and there are no other pubs/restaurants within easy walking distance. Marvellous scenery and places to walk. Plenty of places to visit in the area. Pity the local weather forecasts are rubbish as we ruled out a trip on the river because of a dreadful forecast for what subsequently turned out to be the best day of the week. Norman from Middlesbrough (18 September 2015)
A particularly impressive period house with a recent interior refurbishment providing modern facilities. great space and grounds for large groups. Excellent accommodation with plenty of hot water and well provided with baths, showers/ toilets. quiet and secluded with some narrow lanes to negotiate locally but otherwise well placed for a variety of attractions in the malvern/worcester area. Neville from Northwich (21 August 2015)
We had a wonderful week at the brook house , beautiful location large and comfortable house and grounds.we would love to go back ! Rebecca from London (07 August 2015)
We gathered at brook house to celebrate a birthday, from different areas of the country, and were all impressed with the property - from a crawling baby to the birthday girl. It was well equipped, with super bedrooms/ bathroom/shower rooms and two comfortable sitting areas. The cooks amongst us found the kitchen had good tools to hand and the aga, once understood, efficient. Outdoors, the garden was popular with the dogs and children, and as spring was beginning to delight us, a joy to behold. A memorable weekend. Kathleen from Grange-Over-Sands (14 April 2015)
This is our third time at brook house and as ever we had a wonderful time. The accommodation is kept to a very high and comfortable standard and has plenty of room for our large family. . the only thing I would suggest is a full length mirror and tv in each of the bedrooms. Jane from Smith (10 April 2015)
Great location and house. Thanks for a lovely stay :-) Rachel from Gloucestershire (23 March 2015)
A fantastic house to stay in and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Such a peaceful, beautiful location and friendly owner :-) Bryony from Abergavenny (23 February 2015)
What an amazing place to stay. Brook house was in a beaitiful location. It was emaculatly presented and so well equipped. There was plenty of space for all of us. The beds were really comfy all with lovely bathrooms. The kitchen had everything you could need. Really was the perfect place for our family get away. We didn't want yo leave. Rachel from Haywards Heath (20 February 2015)
Our second visit to brook house. It's just amazing in every respect. Jane from Silverdale, Lancashire (15 December 2014)
Our party has stayed at many other cottages and brook house certainly ranks up there among the best. Bert from Rayleigh (17 November 2014)
Lovely quiet location. Very helpful owner. Great walks from front door. Alison from Pinner (31 October 2014)
Lovely feel to the house. All our party were really impressed with the house, the standard of cleanliness and the facilities . as the pub next door is closed there is no pub or restaurant within walking distance, but we decided to spoil ourselves and arranged for clare dawson to cook us an evening meal (phone number provided by netherley hall), which was excellent - would highly recommend her. Jan from Caerphilly (27 October 2014)
Well presented cottage, spacious. Plenty of parking. Beautiful setting. it was good to have enough bathrooms and the owner equipped them with shower gel, shampoo, hand wash, which was a lovely touch. Lesley from Dursley (13 October 2014)
Lovely house in a beautiful location. We had a family birthday celebration weekend (adults and children).there was everything we could wish for and more. .superb. Sheila from Anglesey (06 October 2014)
Interesting, remote, spacious, overlooking fields of sheep on one side & a row of houses from the other. As you would expect from a gold award property it was spotless.good to have adequate seating outside, garden was reasonably safe for dog, walks from the door but needed to keep the dog on a lead as there were sheep everywhere. Lesley from Eastbourne (19 September 2014)
We were delighted with brook house and very impressed how the owners had restored and renovated this half timbered building. the craftsmanship was superb and all the furniture, fittings, crockery, etc. Were of a very high standard. One small inconvenience was the small twin bedroom on the top floor, which was a bit tight with low ceiling - I am 6ft tall! the other larger bedrooms could have contained twin beds. mrs louise symon, the owner's daugher, was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. we had a wonderful holiday in the cottage and would highly recommend it. Frank from Farnham Royal, Bucks (12 September 2014)
Excellent location for a "getaway-from-it-all" holiday! loved walking around the farm estate and using the tennis court. Ian from Reading (20 June 2014)
Lovely house in great location. Only downside is the pub in the village had closed down so nowhere in walking distance to have a drink or eat. But lovely countryside for walking. Confirmed Purchaser (12 May 2014)
Beautiful house and garden with plenty of room for everyone Confirmed Purchaser (18 April 2014)
This holiday house (hardly a cottage…) is in the top three we have ever stayed in. well equipped living areas, good size comfortable bedrooms with reasonable en suite facilities. Excellent walking from the house and in the surrounding countryside. Hope the pub reopens with good beer and good food! Jill from Wymondham (14 March 2014)
Fantastic weekend, would not hesitate to reccomend this property. The photos on the website do not do it justice, it exceeded expectations. Beverley from Ashton-In-Makerfield, Wigan, Lancs. (09 March 2014)
Beautiful cottage in wonderful setting. Immaculate throughout. John from Chesterfield (21 February 2014)
Very relaxing. Luxurious but cosy. Felt remote but was close to decent towns for trips out. Perfect for our family weekend away. Liz from Worcester (27 January 2014)
We and our friends love this cottage with its homely feel and high quality decor. Ten of us have spent two new year celebration weeks there and all were happy and comfortable. Jack from Flaunden (04 January 2014)
A beautiful house in a lovely setting. Brook house is extremely well equipped and furnished and has a lovely cosy feel. The kitchen has everything you could need. Our only quibble is the twin room. This is really only suitable for children and this should be made clear in the information. Danielle from Cheshire (18 November 2013)
We held a college reunion here for a few friends. it was great. well equipped, comfortable and plenty of space. would use this again in a heartbeat. John from Tamworth (21 October 2013)
Everything excellent.post office closed permanently (cradley).but butcher open.no service on o2 mobile.internet perfect. Ann from Hythe Kent (06 September 2013)
Charm and character. Size is excellent for a family get together. . Julian from Stafford (31 May 2013)
Stunning house. Great facilities (wifi - excellent). safe for children. Wonderful countryside. Fantastic beds. Aidan from Sheffield (20 May 2013)
All rooms were very spacious, nobody felt they had the smallest bedroom. . 'little' things around the house made for a very comfortable stay; plenty of cutlery & crockery, not just one set each. Shampoo & shower gel already in the bathrooms. drinking strays, cling film etc. In the kitchen drawers. . house is full of character but warm and cosy with it. . Jonathan from Chester (22 April 2013)
Amazing house, so spacious and very well equipped. We really appreciated the lovely little touches like hand soap and shampoo being provided and also milk, tea and coffee etc. We loved our stay. Amy from Bournemouth (22 February 2013)
Really lovely house with everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend Rachel from Uk (11 February 2013)
Fabulously comfy and furnished. Bathrooms spotless. Everything you could wish for. It was perfect for a belated family christmas gathering. Plenty of room for everyone to spread themselves around. Trevor from Bishops Stortford (28 January 2013)
Excellent quality throughout. bedrooms and bathroom facilities were especially good. Ann from Hereford (27 December 2012)
We just loved it. Staff very helpful, lovely building, warm & comfortable. Wish the pub next door had reopened! Dave from Stafford (12 October 2012)
Number of bathrooms. Internet connection. Large dinning table. Quiet and pretty location. Michael from Cambridge (18 May 2012)
Absolutely beautiful historic house next to a stream overlooking fields with lambs in it. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Plenty of very well fitted bathrooms in relation to number of bedrooms. We were unlucky with the weather, but when sunny it would be excellent for sitting on the patio to have a BBQ. About 5 miles from Malvern, no real amenities nearby, other than local shop in next village, but if you want to be based in and around the house and go walking, it’s ideal. Customer 62 (April 2012)
This is the 2nd time we as a group of friends have stayed at Brook House, it is a beautiful property and lovely location. It is somewhere that is fast becoming an annual trip. The only potential problem is that as our families grow we will outgrow Brook House! Customer 63 (February 2012)
The house was stunning, with high quality fixtures and fittings, and a high standard of finish throughout. Looking at the rooms for the first time I went through thinking "I want this one", until I saw the next, and then I wanted that! Would be brilliant in the Summer for BBQs etc. A great weekend! Pictures did not do it justice! Customer 64 (January 2012)
This house is lovely, so much better than the photos in real life. Well equipped and comfortably furnished. We had been unable to all get together at Christmas so we had a lovely weekend there in January with our two daughters, their husbands and our six small grandchildren. Plenty of space inside with two sitting rooms and all the bedrooms and bathrooms, made it perfect for the two families and us. A large enclosed terrace for small bikes etc, a brook for ’pooh’ sticks and fields and woods for further exploration. They all want to come back there later in the year! Customer 65 (January 2012)
Fabulous house, very relaxing and high quality finishes. We were very sad to leave and plan to rebook again very soon. Customer 66 (December 2011)
Excellent property with many beautiful walks nearby. Everything about it was superb. Customer 67 (November 2011)
This was a beautiful house in a lovely location. There were nine in our party (5 adults and 4 children) and we all thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay. We would definitely recommend this property. Customer 68 (October 2011)
Great location, everything tiptop. Lots of walking from the door, great centre for sightseeing etc. Customer 69 (July 2011)
Brook House was excellent. Everything clean, comfy beds, good standard. All we needed was to hand and the House is wonderfully located for walking in the Malverns. Ledbury - 6 miles is a gem; Malvern great for shops & theatre. Customer 70 (June 2011)
A beautiful house in a lovely setting. The owners were very helpful and everything was perfect! Customer 71 (March 2011)
A beautiful house, tastefully furnished. Obviously still has not had very many people staying in it, so everything is in good condition. Customer 72 (September 2010)
