Perfect if you want to get away from it all - but if you have teenagers, the wifi works best in the kitchen. Eve from St Mary'S Island (04 August 2017)
Lovely little cottage on a sweet farm with horses and dogs. Peaceful and relaxing. Clean inside with nice facilities and well decorated. Karri from Cambridge (16 June 2017)
Really enjoyed the break but the current living room furniture isn't really big enough for 4 adults. Susan from Welling (29 May 2017)
One of the highlights was the friendly farmer showing us a three day old shetland pony. Quiet location - car needed but coast easily accessible. Good facilities in cottage. Valued Customer (07 May 2017)
We had a lovely stay. Such a warm welcome and a brilliant location. Our one year old son had a fantastic time seeing the horses and dogs. Ideal for a rural get away close to lots of the attractions in sussex and the coast. The cottage was well equipped and the accommodation was great. Highly recommended Confirmed Guest (12 February 2017)
A lovely little cottage with a very friendly owner living nearby. Very quiet and a bit remote but great if that is what you are looking for . fields with ponies opposite and a wood burner were highlights for us Jon from Eastbourne (07 October 2016)
Lovely cottage. The owner really nice and welcoming. Quiet and peaceful. The only thing I would criticised is the garden gave the impression of own garden, which was not. I booked it thinking I would be able to let my dog explore the garden in an uleashed manner. Also the outside of the cottage was scruffy and unkept and the garden furniture was very tatty and dirty. Sandra from Kent (14 September 2016)
We are a family of 4 (18 year boy and 15 year old girl) and a 3 month old puppy, harvey. Everyone enjoyed the stay, nice rural setting staying in a traditional cottage with all mod cons. . we had the freedom to roam the farmland and seeing the horses, ponies, chickens, dogs etc added to the experience. . I spent many hours 'fishing' at the lake, however I was unable to catch any fish worth mentioning despite my best efforts. This did not take away the enjoyment of sitting besides a very pretty lake in a tranquil setting enjoying the peace and quiet. . the rest of the family were more than happy to catch up with the 2016 rio summer olympics in the very comfortable lookers cottage. . we were blessed with superb sunny weather which added to our holiday experience and allowed us to get out and about and explore the wider area. . we had a fabulous 12 mile walk from eastbourne beach passing the pier and continuing to beachy head. We enjoyed one of the best pub meals we have had at beachy head pub. . also a must if visiting the area was a trip to the eastbourne harbour which was spotlessly clean and buzzing with atmosphere. Paul from Luton (19 August 2016)
Lovely warm welcome and quiet, relaxing stay. Kath from Northamptonshire (12 August 2016)
