Great stay in a well equipped cottage. Very helpful owners and lovely welcome basket.some furniture and carpets looking tired, grouting could do with a whitening. Shani from Kings Lynn (31 March 2017)
We really enjoyed our recent stay at little marshfoot. The bungalow is well equipped and comfortable and soo spacious. It is so quiet so m akes for a very relaxing holiday. My wife has some mobility problems and the layout was ideal for her. Eastbourne is only 20 minutes away by car and access to the west sussex coast nad the south downs is easy. . if you are a cyclist, there are lots of country lanes to explore. Peter from Rotherham (17 March 2017)

Had an enjoyable stay in a comfortable cottage close to amenities if you have a car and in a peaceful setting. We enjoyed the cows visiting. . a second television would have been useful. . . we appreciated the welcome pack of goodies which made us feel welcome. . . all "mod cons" we're provided Neil from Birmingham (30 September 2016)
Great bungalow, very spacious, home from home John from Kent (19 September 2016)
Little marshfoot bungalow is located on a peaceful farm lane, with countryside views. it is a short drive (3-5 minutes) from the centre of hailsham, where there is a wide variety of stores and restaurants. the seaside is about 15 minutes away. we stayed in the bungalow for the august bank holiday week, and had a lovely time. . the bungalow was ideal for my elderly in-laws (88 and 97), and our little dog and us. the rooms are bright and spacious, and every amenity has been thought of. the kitchen is large and very well equipped, and the bathrooms are modern and immaculate. a sussex trug of treats, including a delicious, homemade (by carina) teabread was waiting for us on arrival. . we would definitely stay again, as little marshfoot was clean, comfortable, and a real home-from-home, with all sorts of extra touches (e.g. A cafetiere, a bookshelf of books, a crate inside the front door for muddy dogs to be cleaned off in, a drying rack for clothes, a cupboard of toys/games, sky, bags to pick up after the dog on walkies, etc.). our only suggestions, just from our personal needs / preferences as a group, would be to have a hand-rail on the steps to the front door, and to have twin beds (or a superking-size bed) in the ensuite bedroom. i'd also brick up the serving hatch from kitchen to dining area, as my 97-year-old father-in-law spent an inordinate amount of time stood at the hatch placing 'orders' with whoever happened to be in the kitchen - not relaxing for the rest of us on a holiday, but he loved it ha ha ha. . there are countryside walks directly from the farm, popular with dog-walkers locally, and there was a steady stream of beautiful birds to the feeder in the back garden where there is a table and chairs for al fresco dining. little marshfoot bungalow is a wonderful place for a very relaxing break, and we hope to come back to stay soon. C-J from Old Basing (02 September 2016)
Great location, very quiet and ideal for exploring sussex , a great county. . lovely little villages and great walking. Peter from Cornwall (27 May 2016)
This is a lovely property to chill out in and relax. our scores reflect this and the only thing that would have made our score for the overall experience a 10 instead of a 9, would have been the addition of patio furniture to sit and enjoy the evening sunshine and fresh air. Stella from Canterbury (08 April 2016)
Excellent value for money - nice comfy bungalow and very quiet. Also very spacious. could do with larger mirrors in bathrooms and a few outdoor chairs. Jackie from Bromley (28 March 2016)
We had a fabulous weekend. The whole family loved the bungalow. It had absolutely everything, it was spotless spacious and there were so many little touches that the owners had provided to make our stay. excellent, we intend to do it all again. Jean from St. Albans (21 March 2016)
A very comfortable, well equipped and spacious cottage with welcoming and friendly hosts next door. George from Lancaster (08 March 2016)
We had a lovely stay over new year despite the weather, we felt very welcome and the home made mince pies and provisions to welcome us was a lovely surprise. The area was very good for walking the dog and our grandsons loved being in the country. There was plenty of room for all of us 4 adults , 3 children and 1 dog. Morag from Shepton Mallet, Somerset (04 January 2016)
The extra little touches made christmas a great time, thank you for being so thoughtful Gillian from Worcester (28 December 2015)
