Lovely hol cottage . great location. Clean and comfortable
Mrs D Hallam from Tamworth Staffs (30 June 2017)

A lovely stay in a lovely cottage. Cosy and welcoming. Recently updated kitchen is a great bonus. . gift goodies in the kitchen very welcome, and five star service from simon, the cleaner/ caretaker.
Jan from Worcester (17 June 2017)

This is a great little cottage with top of the range cooker and shower. handy for beach and walks. The toilet is downstairs off the kitchen, so those with health problems should take this into consideration. A big plus for this property is that it is within about half mile from the station, so is very suitable for those with no access to a car.
Nigel from Hebden Bridge (10 June 2017)

Better for small and young people not very good if you are disabled could do with holders in bath for people who are unsteady
Malcolm from Great Yarmouth (20 May 2017)

We booked little cottage at the last minute and were not disappointed by our choice. It was perfect for our family of four, very cosy, clean and homely. The cottage is tastefully decorated and we loved the brand new kitchen. We didn't have any problem parking in the opposite street and enjoyed the central location (less than 5 mins walk to the sea and the high street). the cottage was also surprisingly quiet at night. Overall a very good stay and we will definitely go back.
Christine from The Cottage Was Also Surprisingly Quiet At Night. (01 May 2017)

The cottage was very warm and cosy and well-equipped. the location was perfect for walking to the seafront and into the town. however, we stay in 4 or 5 holiday cottages every year and I have to say this wasn't the cleanest cottage we have stayed in. I had to clean the bath on arrival as there were hairs around the bath and most of the kitchen equipment we used needed washing too.
Wendy from Petersfield (24 February 2017)

Welcoming cottage in a great location. Easy access for coastal walks, public transport and shops etc
Sharon from London (03 January 2017)

We enjoyed our stay at the little cottage it was convenient for everything, shops, buses trains all on the doorstep. The only thing I have about the cottage is that the toilet was downstairs.not very convenient
Jeanne from Nottingham (17 December 2016)

Great cottage. Fabulous location. Really cosy gem.
Rachel from Ely (27 November 2016)

The cottage was homely and well equipted and lovely.
Mark from Oakham (29 October 2016)

Cottage was great. no complaints on that score but would not stay again due to very rude aggressive neighbour.
Susan from Chelmsford (08 October 2016)

The cottage had obviously been equipped to a high standard initially but is now in need of a good clean and re-paint. It is used by dog-owners and there were numerous dog-hairs on the rug in the lounge, although it should not be difficult to remove these. We had to abandon the double bed due to the bedding smelling stale as if it had not been aired after washing; thankfully the twin room bedding was ok or we should have had to leave after the first night. The box for the door key is hidden behind a shrub which needs cutting back and is difficult to access. parking is described as "20 yards"; this is not so and we had to park in the next street. On the weekend of arrival it was the sheringham 1940's weekend and there were no spaces anywhere, forcing me to leave the car on a double yellow line for several hours. We have done some research and there are properties locally at a similar price which look in a better state of maintenance and have off-street parking, as well as having fewer places to trip or hit your head. It is disappointing that although the cottage receives good reviews generally, other users have made similar comments and these have obviously been ignored. Sheringham is lovely and we shall certainly go back, but not to this cottage.
Paul from Warwick (24 September 2016)

Had a great holiday with fantastic weather, enjoyed the 1940s weekend in sheringham
Customer 13 from Wakefield (17 September 2016)

We return every year to this cottage as it's superbly located within walking distance of town centre, beach and excellent pubs and eating places. Our dog has a fantastic time: beach, sheringham park, pretty corner, felbrigg hall and beeston heath. The locals are brilliant without exception and we have booked for 2017 already so we can get involved in their 40's festival weekend. The cottage is homely, comfy and, after 6 or 7 stays, a home from home!
Peter from Ampthill (10 September 2016)

Beautiful property. Great location near sherringham town centre and the beach. Really well equiped and tastefully decorated and fitted out. . . lack of parking is a shame but we could always park in the road opposite. . overall lovely place. Our family loved it and would recommend.
Chris from Bristol (20 August 2016)

Really enjoyed our stayin little cottage ,great location for beach shops pubs ,would definitely recommend ,only downside for people our age was downstairs w.c otherwise 10/10
Roger from Sheffield (30 July 2016)

We really enjoyed our stay. The sheltered sunny courtyard was a bonus as the weather was rather chilly due to the cold north wind. Great location for visits to n t properties in the area, steam trains and buses to norwich.
Chris from Colchester (14 May 2016)

The kitchen needed a clean and the crockery and utensils needed to be washed before we could use them
Caroline from Cotswolds (24 April 2016)

Really chuffed we stayed here. Really cute, comfortable & in a great location. Perfect little hideaway with many beautiful places to visit in the surrounding area. Will book here again
Amanda from Brighton (16 April 2016)

Little cottage is in a great location for sherringham and has all the amenities one would expect. I would say with 2 children, the cottage is very small and at times felt very claustrophobic. I do not think this is a cottage that has been previously 'lived in' as there are a number of things that are frustrating for a holiday cottage, such as extremely light weight curtains which, with kids is a no no. They woke up at the crack of dawn despite trying my hardest to add extra layers. There are lovely cushions and touches such as milk and a basket of easter goodies which was lovely, but the lack of proper sprung mattresses (not just a foam layer) on the single beds made for a back ache by the end of the week and is not appropriate for a high spec holiday cottage. We knew about the downstairs bathroom, however, with little children, in hindsight was quite difficult. The cottage requires a good spring clean it was quite grubby in places, in particular the tiles in the bathroom and the kitchen work surfaces.
Carrie from Brighton (02 April 2016)

Very nice cottage would stay there again took dog had a lovely 4 days
Chris from Mildenhall (18 March 2016)

A lovely little cottage would return in the summer
Mrs Gleeson from Cambridge (13 March 2016)

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was very clean warm and comfortable. We were in norfolk in february so was cold outside.
Penny from Colchester (25 February 2016)

Loved the cottage everything supplied it was very warm and clean and just a few minutes walk from the centre . would use again
Kim from Leicester (22 February 2016)

We had a lovely four days at little cottage and couldn't believe how comfy, cosy and convenient it was for the beach and the shops. The cottage is quaint, extremely clean and really well decorated. We couldn't fault it.
Roy from Essex (28 November 2015)

Delighted with the cottage for a 2 night stay. . almost a perfect 10 - being slightly picky - I ended up with the least comfy armchair. Parking could be a problem but we managed.
Steve from Bedfordshire (22 November 2015)

Love this little place - perfect for a break
Linda from Bedford (31 October 2015)

Our 6th visit so we are obviously pretty happy! this time round not so clean - oven particularly. Used to be basic stuff left from previous occupants to get you through first day or so but this time no washing up liquid or hand soap in bathroom etc milk in welcome pack out of date - just little niggly disappointments really. Still love going there!
Jill from Ampthill (17 October 2015)

We had a brilliant time, everything we needed. Beach, pubs, restaurants, shops, market all on the doorstep. Lovely cosy cottage, very clean & homely. . would definitely like to visit again
Jill from Surrey (04 October 2015)

Excellent all round and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, especially the dog on his first holiday.
Mark from Ipswich (24 September 2015)

We had a nice week weather mixed. Very handy for amenities. Cottage cosy everything we needed. Parking was a big problem it was bank holiday week but even struggled to park on priory road.
Shirley from High Peak (05 September 2015)

Such a lovely place to stay. I recommend highly!! the only slight downside is the bathroom is downstairs but it's such a beautiful bathroom that it really doesn't matter. I would definitely return.
Rachel from London (22 August 2015)

Lovely cottage, just a few minutes' short walk from the beach, town or station. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.
Mike from Leicester (18 July 2015)

We had a great holiday, cottage was perfect, would definately return.
Peter from Leicester (27 June 2015)

Little cottage is a lovely place to stay, it is very homely and comfortable and well equipped with everything you need & a few little extras. It is in a very good location for both town and beach and the little patio gets lots of afternoon sunshine.
Donna from Skegness (12 June 2015)

Sheringham is a lovely town and little cottage is well situated for all amenities and attractions in the locality. We have stayed at the cottage 5 time and hope to return for a second visit this year.
Peter from Ampthill (06 June 2015)

Comfortable cottage. very cosy and homely. Location was superb. everything on the doorstep. only slight problem was the parking.
Susan from Chelmsford (15 May 2015)

The cottage was well equipped and comfortable in easy access to shops, pubs, restaurants and sea front, railway station. the small seaside town of sherringham was delightful.
Lorraine from Brentwood (11 April 2015)

Second year we have stayed there, lovely cottage, lovely location and people are friendly and all love their dogs
Sean from Hertford (28 March 2015)

Excellent little cottage for a few days break. Nothing was lacking in the way of equipment. Only problem was the weather - cold, cold, cold. But that's sheringham in march.
Roger from Burton On Trent (05 March 2015)

We were very comfortable and warm (the weather was very cold) cottage is very nicely presented, with everything we needed. Parking was the only issue. We managed to find parking on a nearby street on 3 nights but the other 3 nights had to use a long stay car park about a quarter of a mile away. A slight inconvenience for us which would have been far more of a problem for anyone with young children or for elderly visitors. We had a very nice week away and would recommend little cottage.
Sue from Neath (09 February 2015)

We loved it so sweet and always welcoming
Claire from Newmarket (28 December 2014)

Disappointed with sherringham . a bit run down. Parking a problem . no toilet roll !
Confirmed Purchaser (10 November 2014)

It is called little cottage,so expect to get a little cramped and bruised from low doorways and narrow walk ways.furniture very basic but plenty of equipment to keep yourself amused.parking is the main problem with double yellow lines outside the cottage and the only parking area the road opposite ,if you are lucky but if not then its the next road down, making loading and unloading difficult
Robert from Holland-On-Sea (07 November 2014)

The back door step was very steep. I had to wipe away the dust under the head end of the double bed. The kitchen work surface needed a little wipe too. Little cottage was most convenient to local amenities. Parking was no problem for us, but in the height of the season, it could be a different story. We found it a pleasant place to stay. Local council do not recycle many items, this is the council's fault, not the cottage . owners. We are not sure how popular uht milk is. But at least as we did not use it, it would keep.
Dinah from Staffordshire (11 October 2014)

Cottage very nice but not suitable for elderly to negotiate as to many different levels and high steps. parking very difficult.
Elizabeth from Boston Lincs (04 October 2014)

This was our 4th visit to little cottage so that speaks volumes doesn't it? we are about to book again for next year! sheringham is fantastic and our dog loves the beach, sheringham park, pretty corner, felbrigg hall, holcomb beach etc etc!
Jill from Ampthill (20 September 2014)

Excellent little cottage which is why we've booked for next year!
Campbell from Warwick (13 September 2014)

We loved this cottage. It was very cosy and felt like home. We appreciated the good level of cleanliness, the constant supply of hot water and the attention to detail such as flowers on the table when we arrived and tea and coffee supplied. It is very close to the sea front and town centre so easy to get around.
Louise from Lewes (16 August 2014)

A nice little cottage close to the beach. Comfortable beds and enough of everything for a family of four. Could have been cleaner but as I knew dogs are allowed to stay, hairs etc are to be expected I guess. The outside area would be massively improved with different ground cover - you need to put shoes on to walk on it as it's so rough.
Confirmed Purchaser (02 August 2014)

Great week in sheringham, everything was good .would go back every year if we had the time
Robert from Nuneaton (19 July 2014)

Pros:. lovely, charming cottage near to the beach. . well equipped and cleanliness in the cottage was fine. Bed was very comfortable. Great place for a couple looking for a romantic break. Lots of nice touches like buckets & spades for children, books to borrow, games to play, etc. . cons:. it is 'little' - suitable for 2 adults and two children, but would not take four adults. We had originally intended to take our parents (that's why we wanted a two bed cottage) but glad they chose not to stay with us. Not suitable for anyone with a disability - front of the house was virtually inaccessible and the back door has a very high step. We had to physically lift our dog out of the cottage and watch our sixteen month old daughter from climbing on it. Polished floors with rugs caused a problem too. Travel cot and high chair were provided - but they were grubby. Virtually no outdoor space other than a small area overgrown with plants, which is accessed via the next cottage. Unloading the car was a complete nightmare! yes, there are places to park the car but you have to park on double yellow lines to unload, before parking up.
Gwen from Lancashire (28 June 2014)

Little cottage is very close to the sea front and shops, it has a lovely feel to it - home from home with everything you could possibly need to make you comfortable. The owners have put a lot of thought into it. The only small problem I encountered was the fact that I had to duck under the doors (i am 5ft 10in) as they are typically cottage style, so tall people be aware! but I would still revisit this bright and homely cottage. thank you for the milk and biscuits!
Jackie from Hertfordshire (23 May 2014)

We spent a week in this lovely cottage in a great seaside location. The cottage had everything we needed and it's location is very convenient for all local attractions.
Alan from Knaresborough (19 April 2014)

Lovely cottage.brilliant location. It is always more expensive during school holidays. I would definitely book this cottage again. Only small minus points the different levels but you expect that in an older property and lack of parking.
Christine from Colchester (12 April 2014)

The cottage is lovely but for my wife it did not suit as she is disabled
William from Atherstone (05 April 2014)

Nice warm cottage, comfortable and in a good location. Would have liked more cupboard space for food storage. Good enclosed garden, so we were able to let our dog out without worry.
Julie from Hertford (29 March 2014)

Fantastic my only complaint was that, I had to leave. A brilliant cottage and great location. Tina . essex
Tina from Basildon (09 March 2014)

Lovely cottage great for a girly weekend away relaxing. Gave 6/10 for cleanliness as looked like there had been a dog there before our stay and lots of black hair on the floors and crockery not washed properly. But would go there again. Great location and owners very helpful
Tasha from London (12 January 2014)

We loved it and we have had a great christmas ,we have booked for this year
Claire from Newmarket (28 December 2013)

The cottage is charming and well equipped. the position is very central for the seafront etc. , however, this does mean that there is considerable traffic noise at peak times.
Suse from Lincoln (29 November 2013)

Lovely little character cottage. Good location near town centre and amenities. Well equipped and comfortable.
Vanessa from Ipswich (03 November 2013)

Lovely comfortable cottage. Maybe not suitable for the less mobile because the toilet was downstairs.
Janet from Northants (27 September 2013)

Good position to get to places, shops, railway and buses.
Brian from Ilford (06 September 2013)

A lovely cottage in a great location, close to the beach and town. I would say that it's not ideal for families with younger children or for those unsteady on their feet as it's a little higgledy piggledy. We would definitely be happy to stay again.
Tara from Nottinghamshire (30 August 2013)

Excellent position for town & beach. Very cosy. Everything you would need in kitchen. Very comfy beds. Nice little outside space
Valerie from Leighton Buzzard (04 Jul 2013)

Superb location and really comfortable beds
Sandra from Leicester (30 Jun 2013)

Lovely little cottage - really charming and perfect for a couple or with small children. Not a huge amount to offer in sherringham itself but ideally located for visiting many other lovely towns within a very short car journey.
Marie from London (19 May 2013)

Walking distance to shops and beach. Nicely decorated
Berit from St Albans (14 April 2013)

Location, comfortable
Linda from Stowmarket (18 February 2013)

My second visit this year to Little Cottage. I love the cottage and the location. It is only a few minutes’ easy walk from the railway stations (mainline rail, and the little steam line)and the Coasthopper bus goes to all the pretty places along the coast so there is no need for a car.
Customer 71 (October 2012)

Nice & near the town - no need to drive, but would have liked to have been warned it was on street parking.
Wendy from Bury St Edmunds (28 September 2012)

Cosy cottage, small walk to the town.
Paula from Hetfordshire (23 September 2012)

Very comfortable very homely, and so pretty decor, excellent equipped, thought ofevery comfort,we love the short five minite stroll down to the shops an beach ,just perfect.little courtyard very suny lovely.
Confirmed Purchaser (07 September 2012)

The cottage was lovely and well stocked with all the essentials you would need.
Alison from Goole (28 July 2012)

Close to town and beach. Cute and cosy
Confirmed Purchaser (06 July 2012)

Lovely little cottage conveniently located. Parking is not ideal but not insurmountable. Sheringham is a perfect little fishing village with lovely beaches and a lovely holiday feel.
Customer 77 (July 2012)

Cosy little cottage with so many homely touches that it quickly became a home from home. The owner’s excellent taste in decor gave many treats, with wonderful local photographs and seaside artefacts. The little back garden was another delight; so much in a tiny space and still room to have a meal outside, weather permitting of course!
Customer 78 (July 2012)

Very warm and comfortable cottage with everything you need, including welcome pack of tea, coffe biscuits, milk etc. Very close to the sea which is always good.
Linda from Gravesend Kent (18 May 2012)

Lovely cottage, nice little sun trap garden, 2 minute walk to beach, loads of lovely walks for dogs.
Customer 80 (May 2012)

Little Cottage is small but then who would expect space when you book a "little cottage" in Norfolk! It is nevertheless charming and well equipped. Fine for a small family i.e. a couple and 2 children who can share the twin room or another adult couple that don’t mind twin beds. The bathroom and toilet are downstairs so, if you are used to a bathroom being en-suite or close-by then be prepared for the stairs - not the best for mid-night loo visits!
Customer 81 (April 2012)

A lovely cosy cottage; in a quiet location, but handy for all local facilities. No need for a car as close to good bus and rail links. An excellent base for exploring North Norfolk. Would particularly recommend a ride on the steam train. I have already booked the next visit.
Customer 82 (April 2012)

This was our second visit - we came to Little Cottage for our honeymoon in 2005 and returned in 2012 for our anniversary. It was just as welcoming as it was the first time. We didn’t use the car as everything you need is within walking distance.
Customer 83 (March 2012)

We had a lovely few days in North Norfolk and the cottage was the perfect base for the town and further afield. Lots of places to explore and walk and there are some great restaurants and pubs within short walking distance of the cottage. The added bonus was being able to go away with the dog, who especially loved the beaches!
Customer 84 (March 2012)

A lovely cottage, perfect for a short break with our 7 month old baby. Really comfortable living space, good kitchen, great shower and only a very short walk into Sheringham.
Customer 85 (January 2012)

As its name suggests, Little Cottage is very cosy but ideal for a family with young children. The owners obviously care about their customers and have lovingly decorated the cottage in a seaside theme. The kitchen has a full range of utensils, pots, pans etc, and there is complementary tea, coffee and milk, great on arrival (although wine would also be nice!). Barbecue facilities would be nice but not practical I guess in the small backyard. The cottage is very near the beach, about a 5 minute walk, and the shops, restaurants and amusements in Sheringham High Street. It’s an ideal base for exploring the area. Parking is available in a nearby street and we never had a problem finding a space even during Carnival Week. Overall my family was very happy in the cottage.
Customer 86 (July 2011)

A good property in an excellent location, close to the beach and all amenities. We would certainly return to this property.
Customer 87 (July 2011)

We loved this cottage, very cosy and in a perfect location. Very close to the sea which is what we wanted, also good shops and restaurants within walking distance. Good public transport. Excellent.
Customer 88 (June 2011)

The cottage is very comfortable and in a very good location. The only criticism I have is that the cleanliness wasn’t very good. However, that didn’t spoil our holiday and we really enjoyed ourselves.
Customer 89 (June 2011)

Another lovely holiday in Sheringham, weather fine - lovely location just right for walking to centre & beach.
Customer 90 (March 2011)

Cosy, welcoming and warm cottage - fantastic stay here for my husband’s 40th birthday. Much nicer than photos on website suggest! Well-located for beach and amenities. Playground nearby. Was pleased to find DVD player and good array of toys/books. Parking on side street a minute or so away, no problem. Furnishings and presentation were lovely, although travel cot and highchair that we had requested had not been put out. Managed to locate and set up travel cot ourselves, although couldn’t find the highchair anywhere. Other than that a perfect stay and would definitely recommend highly!
Customer 91 (October 2010)

Very near the sea & shops a lot of good places to eat out (pubs or restaurants).
Customer 92 (July 2010)

Walking distance from town but a very quiet location. Has a selection of books cds and videos.
Customer 93 (June 2010)

Cosy accommodation. Close proximity to seaside front and town centre. Very clean and comfortable. Pleasant outside seating area and most importantly of all we were allowed to take our dog. Will definitely return to this lovely cottage.
Customer 94 (May 2010)

Good location, homely property.
Customer 95 (March 2010)

Home from home, comfortable.
Customer 96 (March 2010)

Very cosy with lots of little touches that made it feel like home.
Customer 97 (February 2010)

The cottage was furnished to a high standard and very well equipped.
Customer 98 (February 2010)

A quaint cottage, just as expected.
Customer 99 (September 2009)

Little cottage was in a very good position for access to beach in Sheringham and also easy access to other local resorts.
Customer 100 (July 2009)

The property is in an excellent location in the town of Sheringham-easy walking distance of the town and beach, very good if you have older children, although i wouldn’t recommend it for toddlers. The decor is very modern and the cottage has a lovely comfy feel to it.
Customer 101 (July 2009)

Great little cottage in an ideal location. No parking allocated for the property but spaces in nearby street. Some lovely little touches made it a home from home.
Customer 102 (April 2009)

Lovely cottage in walking distance of the beach and town. Had all the little extras you need. We all had a great weekend.
Customer 103 (January 2009)

The cottage had real character and my family and I were immediately fond of it - it was a real "home from home".
Customer 104 (June 2008)

There is no parking at the property but ample parking in nearby roads.
Customer 105 (March 2008)
