Very spacious house, we had a large family gathering and had a lovely weekend. The garden and grounds were very nice which we all enjoyed. The owner was especially welcoming and generous. We would love to return one day.
Tony from London (03 July 2017)

Lovely place to stay - great house, great garden, great location.
Lou from Denham Market (05 June 2017)

Another great stay at little barwick, the house is always spotless and inviting, and the gardens are beautiful at this time of year. A sun umbrella in the garden would be welcome. Addition to the garden, otherwise a lovely tranquil place to stay.
Mrs Anderson-Brown (02 June 2017)

Lovely weekend for family get together - didn't want to leave.
John from Downham Market (22 May 2017)

Fantastic house and location. There were 11 of us and the house still felt huge and very comfortable with a great garden with lovely views from all the rooms. The owner was very pleasant and helpful and on call if needed but left us to ourselves otherwise. Only small gripes are the kitchen table seating, the stools are not particularly comfortable and the dining room table is so huge it's difficult to pass anything across or reach anything in the centre of the table. Apart from that we would definitely recommend this house for a large party, we used it for a family get together over easter and it was the perfect location
George from Tiptree, Essex (21 April 2017)

We had a fabulous stay at little barwick, with three big families fitting very comfortably into the house. the gardens are beautiful, the house immaculate and extremely well equipped, and the location lovely. local trips to beaches, a boat trip to see the seals at blakeney, lunch at a walkable local pub and a compendium of sporting activities in the garden made for a great holiday. . many thanks.
Catherine (07 April 2017)

Will go again - very good - owner very friendly & helpful
Roger (20 March 2017)

What a lovely house! they seemed to have thought of everything. the dining table was particularly lovely as it meant we could all speak to each other at mealtimes, so made for a lovely atmosphere. the lounge was plenty big enough for all 12 of us to sit around at the same time. the aga was a first for us and we thoroughly enjoyed cooking with it. the rooms are all huge with plenty of room for everyone. would definitely go there again
Diana from Solihull (13 March 2017)

Very pleasant stay in little barwick. Plenty of room for a large group and fantastic character to the property. The house was very well equipped for our stay and was well suited to our family group. The owner was extremely welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Only downside was that the village lacked amenities but we knew this before our trip so planned to explore the wider area.
Lisa from Leeds (04 January 2017)

Loved staying here, 3 families of 4 and a couple of token aunts, all under one roof. Plenty of space. Washing machine came in handy with a toddler on the loose. Grounds were great fun to play football and explore. Beds were so comfy. Plenty of off road parking. Would definitely stay again!
Sarah from Hitchin (28 December 2016)

We stayed here for 3 days recently visiting thursford christmas show. The house is huge very comfortable with everything you could need. Lots of books and games and dvd's even buckets and spades for the children.there was a log fire blazing on arrival which was very welcome. The lady who showed us round was lovely and very welcoming. We have already booked again for next year.
Carole from Birmingham (05 December 2016)

Wonderful house. Very comfortable with everything you need. Beautiful garden.
Nanna from London (28 November 2016)

Little barwick is a wonderful venue for a large party of family/friends. It offers spacious accomodation, whilst remaining warm and homely. the house is well equipped and also has a lovely garden and grounds. everything you could need for a family get together.
Chris from Maldon, Essex (31 October 2016)

We are a group of ten 50 year old men who have been going away on boys weekend for 25 years. This is the best all round cottage that we have found. Only thing missing for us is a pool or snooker table or a table tennis table.
Confirmed Guest (19 September 2016)

This house was perfect for our large family group. Extremely comfortable and spacious. The room sizes are very impressive.
Sue from Darlington (16 September 2016)

We travelled as a group of 9 made up of 3 generations and 2 boxer dogs for my husbands 50th birthday. The cottage was more of a country house and surpassed all our expectations. . it is artistically decorated but fully equipped with modern cons and lovely log fires. Beautiful gardens with plenty of space for large families to play games and dogs to run around. All of us which included teenagers, 20 somethings loved it. We had bbq and great view of the stars. Lots of lovely villages and beaches nearby to visit. I would recommend it.
Sarah from Watford (05 September 2016)

Lovely house with lots of space inside and out. very comfortable although we agree with an earlier comment that the stools in the kitchen need replacing. although suitable for dogs, it is important to note that you are not allowed to leave them alone, even if they are very used to it.
Gillian from London (26 August 2016)

Great location and accommodation, slightly disappointed at the end of the holiday when leaving the property the owner felt the need to comment in a non friendly manner that she was not happy that one of the dogs had managed to get upstairs. the property is advertised as being dog friendly and there is a fee to have them there . however they are not allowed upstairs which is fair , this is difficult as there are no barriers to stop them getting upstairs. we had an elderly aunt with us and she was really upset by the way she spoke to us and her attitude and it marred what was a wonderful holiday in a beautiful place . despite this we would return to the venue and our putting this down to a one off.
Joanne from Holmfirth (22 July 2016)

Our fourth visit to little barwick and very good value for money. lovely location, grounds. there have been some changes for the better since our last visit and the new sofas as much more comfortable thank you. is there any way the ikea stools in the kitchen could be changed to proper chairs as this would be a small outlay for much more serviceability and comfort.
Denise from Northampton (01 July 2016)

The perfect house for a large family celebration - huge rooms, loads of space, wonderful garden, plenty of charm and gorgeously decorated. We were very comfortable and had a lovely, relaxing stay. Close to loads of fantastic places to visit (we went to sandringham and holkham bay) and the perfect house to chill out in if we fancied doing nothing. Thank you!
Sophie from St Albans (06 June 2016)

Thoroughly recommend this excellent venue for a family or group holiday for all ages. Extremely well equipped and in an ideal setting.
Ray from Cambridge (03 June 2016)

A large, attractive property, with period features but which is uncluttered. There are ample bathroom facilities and the kitchen is very well equipped. Rooms are large and airy with beautiful views of the grounds. A large dining table makes meals a pleasure. We enjoyed seeing the cattle in the nearby field, the local wildlife, strolling in the beautiful garden and visiting the surrounding towns and villages. Bircham mill, burnham market, fakenham and brancaster straithe are recommended. Fish and chips are available in dorking and there is the duck at nearby stanhoe for a special meal.
Kafe from Essex (27 May 2016)

A lovely, comfortable house, well equipped and with a lovely garden.
Anne from Bedford (20 May 2016)

A beautiful place in a beautiful setting thoroughly enjoyed by all 14 adults, within easy reach of some lovely places. We have no hesitation in recommending little barwick.
Ian from Woodbridge (09 May 2016)

Went with a few friends last weekend. The cottage is huge and very clean and well equipped. We requested the land lady to extend our check out time which she approved straight away. Overall a wonderful experience!
Usman from London (24 April 2016)

Good: value for money, spacious, quiet setting, comfortable. . bad: some fittings could do with replacing or updating, especially in bathrooms. . overall a great stay in a spacious building with a good character. . (light switch operation varies throughout building and requires a degree in maths!)
Brett from London (18 April 2016)

It's a lovely large property and absorbs 12/14 people with no problems. The children loved the garden ( and the fairies in it ) plus the ponies in the field next door. The owner is very relaxed and helpful. We would all stay again.
Marjorie from Near Lockerbie (08 April 2016)

Little barwick is awesome, the place is huge. Stay here, you will not be disappointed. There are two reception rooms, a dinning room large enough for everyone, a big kitchen with arga and ceramic hob + the cleanest oven i've seen outside a show room. Oh and a lobby big enough for everyone to prepare of the big out doors at the same time! there is wireless and internet but as the house is so big the wireless reception in the lounges is weak. If you bring lots of electrical gizmos, bring a 4 way as the power sockets can be further away then you'd like, or fewer in number. Stay here it is ace!
Neil from Norwich (01 February 2016)

Great place for large family holidays, lovely garden and indoor space. Well equipped and comfortable with lots of room for children.
Kimberley from Derby (21 December 2015)

We love little barwick. This was our second pre-christmas weekend there with family. There is room for everyone to be together or there are areas to have some peace and quiet. The garden is lovely for the dogs and you are in a great location for visiting the north norfolk coast, holkham hall and burnham market. . mrs ralli is very welcoming and gives you a good tour of the house before leaving you to enjoy your stay. The house is lovely and very comfortable. . we shall be returning.
Denise from St Neots, Cambs. (14 December 2015)

A gorgeous property in a lovely location. We have stayed at many large houses for group gatherings and parties and this is by far the best we have stayed in. Although the location is extremely rural, better in summer than in winter I imagine, there is still plenty to do if you can travel by car. The house is well furnished, spotlessly clean, beautifully laid out and well stocked with all the essentials. The owner is courteous and respects your privacy even though she lives just next door. Could not recommend this place highly enough.
Emma from Fleet, Hampshire (30 November 2015)

Great place to stay comfortable and spacious
Jan from Soham (16 November 2015)

We booked the house for my 60th birthday and all the family came. we had such a lovely weekend. we stayed here 8 years ago and did wonder whether it would have deteriorated but we were not disappointed. it was very well stocked with all the equipment, comfortable beds, a lovely large table that all 14 of us could sit round together. . I cannot speak highly enough of the place. would definitely recommend it and hope to go back again in the future.
Lynne from Lowestoft (02 November 2015)

Great place for a holiday for a large family with dogs. We are repeat customers and love the space and the property. Owner very helpful and friendly
Steve from Ipswich (30 October 2015)

Wonderful property in a fabulous location; ideal for a big family occasion with room for everyone. the house was spotless (i have never seen windows so clean!) and very comfortable. the only downside was the fact that we had to leave.
Graham from Maldon (19 October 2015)

Amazing accommodation for a large group - we had 14 adults in our party - plenty of room to get lost! double bedrooms very large, probably the best kitted out property we have ever stayed at - will defiantly come again if away with similar size group.
Kay from Colne, Cambridgeshire (12 October 2015)

Fantastic house with huge grounds (safe for pets and kids) in a great location. would definitely recommend :-)
Sarah from Kings Lynn (05 October 2015)

What a wonderful place for large gatherings. very well equipped and spotlessly clean. mrs ralli was so helpful. lovely garden to sit in after being out seeing various places in north norfolk. if we have another large gathering yes we will be back.
Ann from Chelmsford (02 October 2015)

Lovely big property very well equipped, large garden ideal for children. Lots of books and some childrens games. Only downside was the ensuite bathroom which could do with a . proper shower instead of just the hand shower from the taps with no wall fixing, shops are a little distant.
Keith from Ipswich (04 September 2015)

Fantastic house and garden with superb facilities and comfort.
David from Leighton Buzzard (07 August 2015)

The house and gardens are beautiful. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out in the house and the children loved playing in the garden which was safe and secure . there were 14 of us and we all had a great time, we would all like to go back again next year we enjoyed spending quality time together as a family. The owner lives next door and was always on hand if we needed anything, everything was excellent.
Susan from Cheshire (24 July 2015)

A beautiful house in a perfect quiet location. we were a large group of 11 and the house did not feel crowded at any time. the facilities such as kitchen equipment, seating etc. Were just enough; could not have asked for anything more. Bedrooms were very spacious, beds were cool and comfortable after long hot days, plenty of wardrobe and storage space and some of the rooms have their own sinks. The garden was stunning and we took full advantage of the sun and bbq equipment. No where is too far away if you want to go out and eat or visit all the local beaches such as holkham and brancaster both well worth a day out. The whole group had a fantastic time and we would highly recommend it to our friends and families.
Cheryl from Doncaster (12 June 2015)

Little barwick is a beautiful rural idyll, where there is a variety of wildlife to enjoy. The accommodation is spacious, the beds are comfortable. It was expensive and a premium was charged for taking our break during the school holiday; that aspect was disappointing.
Jenny from Worcester (29 May 2015)

A lovely venue for our joint family holiday. There were 16 of us with 4 toddlers and we fit in very comfortably. The house is really spacious with large bedrooms and really well equipped. There was even an assortment of kids cutlery etc. The grounds are lovely and safe for little ones to have a good run around. . the location was great - we could get around the north norfolk coast really easily. . the owner/manager was really helpful when we called beforehand with questions and during our stay. Thank you!. we loved our stay and would love to go back again.
Ushma from London (01 May 2015)

Wonderful holiday. Super house.
Barry from Haxby, York (03 April 2015)

A fantastic break in a lovely setting, the accommodation was spacious, clean and well equipped.
Sue from Norwich (23 March 2015)

Wonderful house. beautifully appointed with good equipment. party of six - the house is enormous and we had plenty of room.
Catherine from Scunthorpe (20 March 2015)

Yes completely
Sylvane from Little Paxton (09 February 2015)

The photographs do not show how large this house is! we stayed with 9 adults and 5 children under 5 and it felt large and spacious. Beautiful house
David from Northampton (19 January 2015)

Very comfortable house, great space in house and garden , perfect for get together with children.
Tessa from Altrincham (04 January 2015)

Quite the loveliest place we have stayed in years. Warm, comfortable and welcoming. In fact we may book it next christmas!
Francesca from Hove (28 December 2014)

A wonderful week was had by all; over the week some 20 friends came and joined in my 50th birthday celebrations (not all at the same time!) and everyone commented on how comfortable and well appointed the house was. The description and the reviews were all very accurate indeed and I certainly hope that there may be another opportunity to stay at little barwick before i'm 60! so many lovely places to visit nearby and wonderful beaches which the dogs (and the humans) enjoyed greatly. Many thanks for a very comfortable and happy week.
Neil from Bushey, Herts (21 November 2014)

Our third stay in little barwick and still as pleased as ever. The gardens are wonderful for children, with lots of places to play and explore yet safely enclosed. The house is spacious and comfortable with character and the perfect place for our extended family holidays. Thank you to the lovely owner mrs ralli.
Kimberley from Derby (01 September 2014)

Our second stay at little barwick was as good as our first four years ago. the children and grandchildren all thoroughly enjoyed their stay
Rodney from Spalding (29 August 2014)

It is a beautiful house in a perfect setting. It's more like a family home than a holiday let, with superb furniture and pictures. There are enough bathrooms to avoid over-crowding and the well-equipped kitchen is a perfect size. There are toys and games, books and tvs so nobody should be bored whatever the weather. Nearby towns and villages are great for visits.
Lois from Haims, France (14 July 2014)

Beautifully located around the best beaches of norfolk. Little barwick is tucked away for a quiet retreat within easy reach of everything you need from fish and chips, local market, rolling beaches and local charming pub. This spacious house with character lends itself to multi family holiday get togethers whether its in the summer taking advantage of the large garden with endless views or cosy winter log burning breaks. Lots of room for everyone to find space and i've never seen a kitchen so well equipped. we all played cricket and badminton whilst the bbq did its work. Fond memories, would definitely go back.
Liesa from Chelmsford (07 July 2014)

Wonderfully relaxed holiday in plenty of grounds and easily enough space for all guests to cill out in company or have a qyiet room, very accommodating putting a christmas tree up for us for our mid year christmas 25th june. 2nd time we have visited and we had forgotten that it ticks all the boxes you need. wonderful stsy thank you.
Denise from Northampton (27 June 2014)

Magnificent large family house.well equipped and very clean. Gardens are ideal for small children and pets and make for a relaxing holiday for the rest of us knowing they are safe.would benefit with more power showers as omly one plus three overbath showers are too few for a large party.overall a lovely grand house well worth the money.
David from Seaham (23 May 2014)

We had a fantastic short break at little barwick. The house is very spacious and well equipped and fantastic for children. My soon to be two year old daughter had a lot of fun playing hide and seek with her cousin! mrs ralli gave us a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely visit again.
Joanne from Nuneaton (12 May 2014)

Very comfortable well equipped house in a good location. I suggest that a brief written history of the house would be of interest to the visitors
John from Kenilworth (09 May 2014)

Beautiful and very surprisingly large, secluded, quiet, norfolk flint cottage. A great place for a week or weekend away
Chris from Norwich (28 April 2014)

Lovely relaxing house, better than the pictures, the space was appreciated by all, lovely big drawing room and huge dining table suitable for our large family gathering . very well equipped with everything thought through, although one shower was very poor, (hence the 9). great garden, good location just a few miles from the coast, good local shops at burnham market.
Gillian from Bakewell (07 April 2014)

Really nice and safe cottage ,great value for money would stay again.
Lee from Canvey Island (24 March 2014)

Paul from Enfield (10 May 2013)

We go on holiday every year with our children and grandchildren and this is the best house we have stayed in. it is immaculate and amazingly spacious. very comfortable beds with high quality bed linen and towels provided. the large kitchen is extremely well equipped. . . the large, level garden is fenced and safe for toddlers and perfect for children to play in. amanda, the owner lives next door and couldn't be more helpful and friendly. . there were lots of interesting places to visit in the area including sandringham, walsingham, oxburgh hall and for the little ones a favourite day out to bewilderwood. but best of all was little barwick - we would love to return one day.

Warm. Practical for families. Lots of space. comfortable beds. nice bed linen. Plenty of logs provided for fire. Spacious house set in beautiful grounds.
Joy from Stowmarket (05 November 2012)

Might be an idea to state that there is a DVD player in the house as it only mentioned a video player in the description. Bit short on tumblers also but incredibly well equipped otherwise. Beds really comfy and lovely soft towels.
Customer 83 (March 2012)

A wonderfully spacious and well appointed house.
Customer 84 (February 2012)

We booked this for a pre-christmas family get together, and what a wonderful time we had. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations, spotlessly clean, full of charm and character with plenty of room for all of us eight adults and five children. We particularly loved the dining table big enough for us all and the open fire and window seat in the wonderful lounge. There was a lovely garden for the children to explore, and more than enough utensils and crockery etc to cook an enormous christmas dinner. The location was fabulous too with walks on Holkham beach just a fifteen minute drive. We have made a pact to come back year after year. What a beautiful place. We can not rate it highly enough.
Customer 85 (December 2011)

Great house with loads of room and facilities from plenty of chairs (52!) to lots of utensils in the kitchen. The owner is very kind and helpful and doesnt mind noise (and we were very noisy).
