4th time we've stayed here. Love it! Confirmed Guest (12 June 2017)
The cottage was beautiful. Lots of space for the children and adults alike. The setting was idyllic, miles away from anywhere - so peace and tranquility was in abundance. Liz from Chesterfield (26 August 2016)
We stayed here from 1st august to 5th august and really enjoyed all the stay with the young kids.if u love countryside feeling than this is the place.near by were a few shops but if u drove out a few miles all ur needs were there.house was proper equipped with all household needs.will be visiting again in few years time. Rizwana from Luton (05 August 2016)
Not the nicest. It was very old. Very out of the way Catrin from Llanelli (20 June 2016)
This was the most amazing holiday property we have ever visited. The location was rural with the most beautiful valley with river running through it. The grounds of the property were awesome. The cottage was very roomy and comfortable with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The dogs had a wonderful holiday, safe for them all over the grounds. The children loved the freedom. The kitchen was huge with all equipment needed and a lovely farmhouse table to seat 10. We will definitely return and would recommend to friends and family. Deborah from Bromsgrove (03 June 2016)
It was a beautiful, warm and well equipped property. The "welcome pack" left by the owners as a lovely surprise. We had a perfect week there. Sara from York (30 October 2015)
Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful position with just the sound of birdsong. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Timothy from Bristol (18 September 2015)
The property needed a good clean, lots of cobwebs & the extractor fan in the kitchen leaked after a heavy down poor. Although the bedding was clean & the towels . the beds were not very comfortable. . the kitchen equipment was quite sparse no measuring jugs or plastic bowls . the setting looked idyllic on the website but did not live up to our expectations!! Megan from Holmfirth (31 August 2015)
We had a fabulous family holiday at lake view, it was a lovely house with amazing grounds to explore. It was very clean and the owners were lovely and very helpful. It was very peaceful and we wloved the fact there was no phone signal or wifi as we could fully escape from everything. We will definitely be going back again soon. Gemma from Sutton Coldfield (21 August 2015)
Our third visit. This is the perfect house for us. we will be booking again for next year. Highly recommended. Confirmed Guest from Gloucester (15 June 2015)
A beautiful secluded location with amazing scenery. The cottage is stunning, although could do with a little modernisation; however that shouldn't detract from the amazing value for money. . there's very little phone signal and no wi-fi, good for some people but may be a problem for others. Paul from Manchester (09 June 2014)
Delightful location, great walking. Very welcoming arrival. Really relaxing holiday. Richard from Bristol (04 January 2014)
3 trip to lakeview - perfect location for our outbound weekend! love the fact that they leave plenty of logs to have a great open fire in the evening. Douglas from Reading (18 November 2013)
A unique property in stunning grounds. we loved it. Sharon from Manchester (02 September 2013)
Lake view difficult to find, no green gates and no name just an access only sign -,directions need updating. The cottage itself was very clean but getting in need of a bit of tlc it could also do with mentioning that the property was split level with living accommodation upstairs. There were only baths - no shower which made it difficult for anyone who could not get in and out of a bath. The cottage was also very remote, down a narrow lane, frequently used by large lorries, and no footpath. The nearest pub for bar snacks (the trout) was not within walking distance and had only a very basic menue. The best place to eat was the neudd arms which was approx 15 minutes away in an other village. However on the plus side the cottage was very homely with lovely views across the lake and the owner exceptionally friendly Confirmed Purchaser (02 August 2013)
Size, location, dogs welcome, just generally a fab place Sallie from Gloucester (10 Jun 2013)
Great secluded location and lovely kitchen diner with great views. Customer 17 (December 2012)
Spacious comfortable warm accomodation for six adults. Very peaceful and scenic surroundings Sally from Worthing (15 October 2012)
Secluded annex home with it's own facilities including a small games room and tennis court which has a lake with a bout beyond the field Max from Leicester (27 August 2012)
Excellent accommodation, beautiful location. Liam from Bristol (24 August 2012)
The property was very spacious and in a lovely quiet setting. We ate in rather than out and therefore could have done with a few more pieces of kitchen equipment. Overall lovely property, plenty of room for everyone. Customer 21 (December 2011)
Beautiful and remote. Lots of excellent walking. Customer 22 (October 2011)
Situated in a lovely quiet part of Mid Wales, the property is spacious and quite well furnished.Ideal for people who wish to relax or explore the area by car or walking but not so good for people who need to be entertained! The local pub(the Trout)is ok for pub grub and the Cammarch Hotel is worth a visit for dinner. Customer 23 (June 2011)
Very nice. We had great time. We certainly would like to go again some time. Customer 24 (May 2011)
Old-world charm, spacious, all mod cons. Customer 25 (August 2010)
Lake View was ideal for us and our four children. Lots of outdoor grounds to explore and plenty of room in the house for us to spread out. Very relaxed environment. Customer 26 (August 2010)
The accommodation was excellent value for money - very substantial and we were very well provided for. The kitchen was well stocked and we really wanted for nothing. Very dog friendly. Customer 27 (May 2010)
Spacious, comfortable accommodation with a nice touch of fresh flowers in the lounge to welcome us. Although the bunk bedroom could accommodate adults, we thought it really more suited to children who’d probably love it. Lovely situation and outlook. Dog owners should note that the area is populated with sheep (not unexpectedly)and, at certain times of year, pheasants. Lots of on-lead walking for owners of animals that chase!! Customer 28 (October 2009)
We had the most wonderful time at this magical place and will certainly be booking again for next year. The house was amazing and the landlady and landlord were so friendly and accommodating. We loved it and can’t wait to go back!!! Customer 29 (May 2009)
Bedroom accommodation was excellent. We were a party of 6 adults and the cottage was for 8. Should we have had 2 more adults with us, the lounge would have been too small to accommodate us all at one time. Customer 30 (August 2008)
We are a group of walkers and we booked Lake View to enjoy the local countryside. The accommodation and the surrounding area surpassed our expectations. Customer 31 (November 2006)
